Palace of Spices in Dudley

Left me waiting at the desk for 10 minutes before coming out to tell me it's cash only. Had to drive round looking for a cashpoint. Eventually got my food and is hands down the worst Indian takeaway I've had. The rice was so so so dry, stuck together in lumps and the breads were vile. Won't be using again.

I just bought some biryani and tandoori chicken takeout and I have to say that they gave me a old piece of tandoori chicken The chicken was bone dry and smelly i couldn't even take a bite it was so smelly and the meat colour is yellow inside, i threw it in the trash can . It's obvious that it's an old piece of chicken and they shouldn't be serving the chicken , I have took the picture of chicken in the trash can and I am posting here. Hope the restaurant rectify this and i won't be ordering from here again

Really nice curry's and really good prices and delivery always withing the time they say. Great I order from this take away when I fancy a spicy Indian dish.

Ordered food through just eat came and grease was dripping through the bag one popadom for a two person mixed grill smashed up and chicken raw phoned the restaurant and when we asked for a refund restaurant was not interested in the slightest and told us to contact just eat for a refund absolutely disgusting could make us sick wouldn't recommend to anyone

Wouldn’t give 1 star only because I had to my meal from here today was awful I paid nearly 9 quid for a king prawn balti there was about 3 prawns if that and they was the normal tiny prawns there was nothing king about them there was also no taste the chef obviously isn’t any good I called the restaurant the guy said let me ask the chef he must of walked away then came back to the phone and said the chef said their was definitely king prawns in there and there was 8 that was lie then i said I don’t think that’s right he then goes yeah it was definatley king prawns I seen him get them out the bag so I said well why did u need to go and ask the chef if u had already seen him put them in ??? Full of shxt avoid at all costs total waste of money I have complained to the platform I ordered from called Kukd they don’t seem any easier to complain too either what has the world come to with customer service there is none anymore #nonecares

Don't usually do reviews but had to warn people about this restaurant. The food was freezing cold on arrival. The curry tasted nice after i warmed it up. Exceot the naan was cold, the chips were scraps and looked like thet had been refried. The bombay aloovwas tasteless, potatoes in pureed tomatoes is not bombay aloo. Absolutely disgusting. Wont be ordering again and BTW one star is not my review zero stars.

Ordered from here as the usual place I order from didn’t have what I wanted. Best choice ever. The pakoras from here are absolutely delicious. All the food was hot and tasty. Delivered on time too. Definitely would recommend.

Ordered for it to be delivered at 8pm and as of 9:15 it's still not here rang them twice to ask and was told it'll be here soon then go to ring a third and they don't pick the phone up 9.25pm its been delivered

Waited over an hour for the food after ringing to find out where it was and when it did finally arrived it was that cold we couldn’t eat it wot a waste of money never no more will we order from there again

Under new management, they must have a different chef aswell, we ordered what we usually have and it was tasteless, dry nan bread, and no sauce, hardly any chicken, no mint dip and no free popadom would not recommend won’t be returning.☹️

Lovely food tastes amazing, real great job on delivery, even tho I made mistake on order and I was to blame , they went out there way to deliver extra food .

Order a few meals this weekend and i've never had such a bad meal, way to much salt and i mean way too much!! no one could eat any of the food. Really disappointed.........

Extremely bad customer service . I placed an order at 7 pm and was asked to collect it at 7.30pm. When I reached their place, no one was there to open the door and no door bell to call them. I called on number and the person said, that he is going to send someone for me. The man inside just saw me and asked to wait. I showed up at 7.45 instead of 7.30 but still order was not ready. It was freezing cold outside and was snowing, and the man inside was so ill mannered, he did not even offer me to come inside. I kept standing outside for 5 minutes. then left without collecting my order. Never going to come there again.

Once again a great takeaway. Every time 8 have a deep fried man, and every time it's great. Always deliver on time. Great place

Superb choice of dishes featuring the traditional, Balti, and specials. Like Calzone? Try a deep fried naan with curry centre.

Before i start i would like to say that the 1 star rating is purely because the ordering and delivery service was satisfactory thats about the only positive thing i have to say as the food was well below average. I ordered via the phone which was easy and fast, i ordered 1 x chicken tikka masala(madras hot), 1 x sheek kebab, 1 x aloo chaat. The food was delivered in adequate timing with 1 poppadom and mint yoghurt compliments of the shop however the food was just warm not piping hot as i expected it to arrive, i might add that i live 7 minutes away from the shop. The chaat was bland, if you have had good chaat from an indian restaurant before then you know that it should have a decent kick to it. The sheek kebab again had no spice to it at all... very poor quality. The chiken tikka masala was a complete let down...... where to start, the chicken tasted like it was that cheap processed chicken breast pieces you can buy from a supermarket. The chicken also tasted like it had been marinated in water and nothing else, the sauce was sweet but became boring very fast and considering i ordered it madras hot you can probably imagine my disappointment when it failed to tickle my taste buds most of this food went in the bin. Safe to say it was the first and last time ill ever have food from the palace of spices.

2 hours late food stone cold chips completely soaked through the paper bag ,the lot went in the bin ,never again

Its as if sauces are premade and the meat just added at the end, meats flavour didnt contain any spices and very bland
