The best restaurants in Ladywood Birmingham West Midlands

We were here celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. We were welcomed and made comfortable immediately by the staff there. The whole night, the service was impeccable. The restaurant itself was very unique; we loved the black interior and rock playlist. The taster menu was delicious, highlights were the artichoke custard which was very creamy and well balanced with the sesame seeds. The monkfish sauce was delicious, rich, flavourful with a little kick at the end. The sommelier gave us two great recommendations to pair with the meals and was very helpful. The Riesling wine was unbelievable! Not very sweet, delicate and extremely easy to drink.. Definitely will be sourcing a bottle of that! Dessert was well balanced and the perfect end to the meal. I would definitely recommend The Wilderness and would also love to try the sister restaurant now, Albatross.

Great nutella latte and a super cinnamon roll! Will def get here earlier for a toastie next time!

Recientemente descubrimos Neo Café cuando nuestro lugar de desayuno regular estaba cerrado, y que agradable sorpresa fue! Esta acogedora cafetería, con solo un puñado de mesas, ofrece un ambiente cálido e íntimo. Ambos optamos por el desayuno inglés completo, y fue absolutamente lugar en. El tocino era particularmente increíble, y los precios eran increíblemente razonables. El personal era encantador y acogedor, haciéndonos sentir como en casa. Sin duda volveremos!

Elio is a fantastic coffee spot with a cozy vibe, amazing coffee/food and a friendly atmosphere. Anis is always a pleasure to speak with and goes above and beyond with creative drink suggestions. Great service and delicious drinks :)

Great coffee , quite ambience , open space , quite , nice service , very reflective space - big open windows let the sun through - and especially it’s Indonesian - what a rare gem

Decided to visit this establishment as an overdue Valentine’s Day meal with my girlfriend following some great reviews on trip advisor. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectations. There were only two members of staff on (who you could see were really rushed off their feet so we did feel somewhat sorry for - they were evidently trying their best). However, an hour and a half wait for nice but cold food was a bit far. During that time nobody came to offer further drinks or to check on us. We were served the meal without cutlery (by the chef?!), which again we had to wait further for. Nobody checked that we were enjoying our meal (or even returned upstairs), if they had, we would have informed them it was cold. Our second round of drinks 2 hours after the first arrived with the wrong drinks order. The decor is lovely however upstairs was cold and there was no music. The establishment certainly has the potential to be great but our experience was very much the opposite to that otherwise described on here.

Gran auténtica comida malaya, ambiente encantador, una verdadera joya de un restaurante, muy recomendable con un menú siempre cambiante de entrantes, platos principales y postres.

Tienen pagué mi primera visita al para enseñárselo hoy mientras trabajan en un viaje de negocios en el centro de la ciudad. Es un hotel limpio, ambiente luminoso y ventilado y la comida estaba llena de sabor. Las mesas están bien espaciadas ambiente suficiente para permitir una conversación personal mientras que mantiene un café. Tuve el flan de pimiento asado que fue divino, acompañados de una mezcla de ensaladas caseras (la ensalada de lentejas y remolachas vinagreta de frambuesa - sidrería era impresionante). Un placer encontrar este lugar y volveremos a probar más.

Fuimos a este restaurante tailandés para cenar. Un poco confuso para empezar, encontramos el lugar en el segundo piso del edificio, obtuvimos los menús, nos sentamos, decidimos qué pedir y luego nos dijeron que teníamos que poner dinero en una tarjeta de crédito. , esto tenía que hacerse en el primer piso. Pensé que el precio de una botella PEQUEÑA de agua era exagerado, 2 por botella y 2 porciones de arroz pegajoso, 2 cada una. Si le queda algo de crédito en su tarjeta, recibirá un reembolso por la diferencia cuando se vaya. ¿Volveríamos? . . SÍ, el menú es amplio y muy bueno, para todos los gustos. El lugar ahora se llama Bangkok Street y está en la parte superior de Pershore Street, en la parte trasera del mercado de carne y pescado.
