Love this place and I'm here as often as I can (and can get a table). It's cash only with just amazing food. I had the bandung and some nasi goreng but can report that past visits have been just as delightful with different dishes. Writing this makes me think that I might just go for lunch today!

This used to be called Wah Kee Bakery. Although it's a Hey Sugar branch, it's still technically still Wah Kee Bakery as they still use the labels and wrappers as such. It's a small branch that sell's a variety of Chinese bakery items. Imagine a Chinese Greggs! There is a great selection of bakery and cake items. The dan tat (egg tart) and the roast pork puff are amazingly tasty, i can't get enough of them. Great Chinese bakery.

We enjoyed our lunch at Wu Shuang Cafe today. It’s a Hong Kong style cafe (Cha Chaan Teng). The foods were delicious. The space in the cafe is limited. You may seat with strangers on the same table. Waitresses were busy. All these are typical characteristics of Cha Chaan Teng in Hong Kong. The cafe opened at 12:00pm. We arrived at 12:30pm, and waited approximately 30 minutes. We observed that the queue outside the cafe was cleared around 1:45pm. So, on weekends or school half term like today, if you don’t want to spend too much time on waiting for a table, it may be better to arrive before 12:00pm and to be the first batch of the customers, or have a late lunch after 1:30pm. Anyway, we like the foods in Wu Shuang. The price was reasonable. The environment was acceptable. Definitely will come again where there is a chance.

I'd like to say something negative so that this place doesn't become so popular I can't get a place. The food is delicious from Jasmine tea to great dishes of chowmein and four excellent soups - really nourishing in winter. You know it's quality because most customers are Chinese but too many others are 'discovering' the quality of the cuisine at Mei's.
