I was blown away with the attention to detail in making customers feel valued from when we stepped in the restaurant . I booked a Hen Party Bottomless Brunch for 19 guest with Lauren who was accommodating and very helpful every step of the way,Lauren supported some small changes at short notice without any issues, the ladies and the Hen had a fantastic time and nothing was too much trouble from the staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant thank you once again xxx

Firstly we were seated in the garden room which was too cold, we asked to move and got a table upstairs. The music was too loud for the waiter to hear our order, so one dish arrived that we didn’t order. One of our dishes also came out half an hour after we’d finished eating the rest of the dishes. We had to waive our arms in the air to get a drink as drink staff were not attentive. The drink staff were also separate to the food staff so when we wanted to ask where our final dish was the drinks waiter said there’s nothing he can do as it’s not his department. They did take the dish we didn’t order and the dish that came out late off the bill, but all in all I was in disbelief at how poor the service was.

Asian food with great atmosphere The rice is very delicious and fragrant But there is rice on the table that was not wiped clean from the previous table. The infrared lamp is shining on your face. The crystal dumplings and soup dumplings are both delicious I accidentally ordered 88 pounds and my wallet was a little hurt🥲

Whilst the food was really good, upon arrival me and my boyfriend hadn’t booked and were told we could sit at the front - although the restaurant was completely empty. We were sat right next to the door in the freezing cold and put on the smallest table that barely fit our drinks and food. The food was quick to come out but the reception from the staff specifically the girls on the front desk was horrible. No one offered to take our jackets whilst we watched everyone else’s get taken, with ours piled up on the chair next to us. No one came to ask us how our food was or any level of checking up. I felt as though we were very shunned to the side and was completely shocked at the level of unprofessionalism from the girls on the front desk. I understand we had not booked on a Saturday night but our bill was still £100+ for 2 people and we deserved the same treatment as everyone else. I even noticed another two people sat out the front by us recieved a significant more amount of attention than us.

Came here for my daughters birthday. The service and decor is nice. However there's no atmosphere (Don't expect them to sing happy birthday to you). They were so nice to give us complimentary drinks dessert etc however considering the drinks were wasted as not enjoyed and I didnt enjoy the food I think it would have been better to just give a discount. The chicken noodles were dry and tasteless and you pay just over £12 for 3 pieces of ribs which I found to be robbery as they were not that well seasoned. I would come for cocktails but if you want to eat and you like seasoned food then this place is not for you. I spent £45 and I'm starving!

I have been here multiple times and have never had such a bad experience. I am currently stuck in bed with severe food poisoning and for £150 there was not a lot of food whatsoever. Not that I’d want anymore. I’ve attached photos. I don’t write reviews normally but as I’ll now be missing Christmas Day due to this meal I thought it best to warn people. The chicken was grey and didn’t look fresh or well cooked in the won tons and the dumplings the chicken was just as bad. Not only that nobody actually asked us once if the food was okay. Overpriced and overhyped as much as we used to come here won’t ever be returning.

We visited last night and the service and food was perfect, there was a good energy and chilled atmosphere and beautiful cocktails. The manager Lauren was amazing and we will definitely be returning!!!

Awful Experience – Never Coming Back! If I could give this place negative stars, I would! Where do I even begin? First of all, the service was absolutely atrocious. We waited over 30 minutes for a table despite having a reservation and when we asked reception how long it would be we were greeted with a rude young lady who clearly shouldn’t be working in customer service. Now when it comes to the menu, which was already limited and extremely low value because of our party size, we were told you weren’t allowed to order one portion but had to pay £60 for three courses, clear example of mandatory minimum charge, not including drinks. Now it being an early dinner we had no intention of eating that much food and were told we weren’t able to share so asked if it would be possible to just have drinks as the food in our opinion was not at all worth the cost especially when combined with how beyond rude they were and acted as if we were inconveniencing them. At this point we asked a waiter if this would be okay and if we would be charged a cancellation fee. A lady returned who we assumed was the manager as the waiter had told us that is who we would need to speak to, she informed us that wouldn’t be an issue and we wouldn’t be charged but we were not able to stay at the table and would have to move are party of 9 to the already cramped and almost seatless reception despite having booked the table which doesn’t, upon booking, seem to be for food only. As a result we asked if we would still be charged cancellation if we didn’t think this was accommodating enough for the 21st birthday we were celebrating to which they responded no, this was triple checked before we left and she ensured us if we were charged to call back and it would be sorted. To top it all off, when we called to speak to the manager, as we were charged despite the guarantee we wouldn’t be, they were even worse. Unapologetic, dismissive, and downright hostile. It was clear that customer satisfaction was the absolute last thing on their mind as she hung up the phone and we are still yet to hear a response as trying to call them has been like trying to contact the prime minister. I’ve never experienced such a combination of incompetence, rudeness, and complete disregard for customer service. Save your money and your sanity — this place doesn’t deserve your business.

The singapore shrimp, crystal vegetable dim sum and honey pork were delicious! The service was also immaculate ( Estelle was lovely) with an amazing atmosphere when everywhere else was full. The desserts were also very tasty

Estelle was brilliant! Her service was excellent throughout the bottomless brunch. She made sure we had plenty of drinks. Will definitely be back as long as Estelle is our server. Credit to the team.

We came up to Birmingham for a weekend and booked ourselves into this restaurant after hearing multiple positive reviews. I can say that the food was exceptional however the service & atmosphere was something left to be desired. We were seated 20 minutes later than our actual booking due to the restaurant being busy which was not a problem however we were asked to wait in the bar area which had extremely intoxicated people making inappropriate loud comments which resulted in the group arguing loudly amongst themselves. Not exactly what you want when you are trying to have a nice meal. Once we were seated our orders were taken quickly however we were not brought water as requested. Upstairs was beautifully decorated but the atmosphere seemed extremely tense with a background of extremely loud music & bongos which resulted in us shouting to each other to have a conversation. I'm assuming the senior waitresses were overwhelmed and had new staff who had no idea where food orders were going. We watched our food go round the room twice before coming to us, which was not ideal. The waitresses were then quite rude to the other staff publicly. Luckily a young lady was our waitress was absolutely fantastic, she seemed much calmer than the rest so maybe the others were just having a bad evening? We then ordered desserts & more water to replace the water we did not receive. We did not receive cutlery or the water and had to ask again for this. I understand restaurants are busy but it would make sense that if they are overwhelmed with drinks/parties that food service stops at a certain time to accommodate this. The final straw for me was that an automatic service charge was applied which i thought was highly inappropriate when the service was quite poor - the young lady who served us deserved the tip herself not to be split amongst profit of others. I am regretful I did not get her name, and I would not visit again.

Rather poor all round. Uppon arrival, we were left waiting (essential abandoned) afteted being asked for our booking. Drinks turned up 5 mins after the starters, fair enough. They had completely forgotten about our main course. Was handed the deserts menu, diabolical. Would avoid during peek hours.

For the prices paid, a rather underwhelming & disappointing culinary experience. The food wasn't bad, but by no means anything special. However, the atmosphere and ambience was pleasant. Overall, rather showy, with little substance.

The décor inside the restaurant and aesthetic is beautiful, as is the atmosphere. The brunch offering is great, unfortunately, the food served was not hot, the individuals serving the food repeatedly stretched over our plates as opposed to avoiding doing so and the drinks and frequency with which they were brought out was limited which marred the experience. The gentleman on security at the front door was lovely and positively contributed to our experience.

Breathtaking bathroom and decoration throughout the whole restaurant! Just makes you and your family, friends or partner feel special, great place to go before a night out. Food is amazing and the drinks are just as good.

Great place to eat Asian style foods. Great selections. Quality was outstanding. Cocktails were great with a superb selection. we were found a table within 10 minutes despite them being full. We were never rushed. Not cheap but good value for money.

Had my 40th birthday meal in September, 8 people set menu. Food was nice and our waiter was great too, I was a little disappointed that I didn't receive a small birthday desert or any kind of gesture toward making my experience special? Other than that it was a nice place to go.

Food was very good, however staff largely ignored us, very unengaging, sat on their phones and quite grumpy!

Went there with my wife before a show. Mid afternoon. Place was dead. Other restaurants around was busy. Food was ok . How ever you pay top of you are gluten free which I find very annoying. Bill was high for fake flowers and the surrounding.

My husband and I went to this place for lunch yesterday (10/10/24) … nice service but the gentleman did not explain that the lunchtime menu are for two people to share. Also did not explained that the gluten free menu do not qualify for the special lunch time deal ie £22 for two courses. A large glass of wine cost £14 which was rather expensive compare to other restaurants in the area. The cocktail was fabulous and I would have ordered another but was rather too full to order any more drinks. The dishes arrived are fab and there are plenty to feed four people. It’s a shame that we weren’t told about the lunch menu that are for two people to share as we ordered two starters, two mains and two sides … it was beautiful but so much foods for the two of us. We didn’t take dogging bags home as we were heading for a show after that meal. So we tried our best to finish the meal because we both hate wasting good foods. Nice experience but we won’t be coming back again due to lack of communication or explanation about the lunch menu and especially not telling us that the gluten free menu are not part of the lunchtime deal (which was rather odd). So you imagine how much the overall total bill came to it was a shocker! In our opinions they do not deserve the service charge they automatically added to the bill.

I had dinner at Lulu Wild yesterday for my friend's birthday. The food was lovely and so were the drinks. The only thing that I questioned was the fact that it said there was an optional service charge at the end of the bill, however it was not stated on the bill that there was any service charge to pay or take off. I really think it should be printed on the bill for customers to see.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here and the experience was great, the food was also good. Chicken and lamb dishes are halal which was a plus. Paid parking is a short walk away and easy to get to. Price is however on the high side for what you get.

A bit of a mixed review... there was nothing bad about the experience but there was nothing great about it either. Significantly over priced based on the food and service. The menu and prices seem to be based on the Hakkasan menu but the service and food just do not match. The veggie dimsum were OK but not much variety and not worth £25. The black pepper veggie chicken was good, as well as the tofu dish, rice and noodles but nothing special and based on the service and price, I wouldn't come back. One of the managers seemed too signal our waiter to get us out quickly once we were finished, with an overtly obvious hand gesture. I think he may be confused about the actual standard of the restaurant... I would call this place style over substance but once you realise the flowers are fake and the table lamps don't actually work, there ain't much style or substance.

6 of us went to Lulu Wild on Saturday night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Service was excellent, very attentive and the food was superb. It is not cheap but I would highly recommend it for a special occasion. There was a time limit on the table but we did not feel rushed and enjoyed another drink at the bar when we had to vacate the table. We will definitely return.

Visited on a works evening with some colleagues. Decor and atmosphere was nice and to a good standard. Only complaint was the bathroom was similar to a weatherspoon, in the way it seemed to take a while to get to. We had a variety of food across us all and everything we had was cooked very well, presented nicely and tasted incredible. Staff didn't seem to be well organised and seems understaffed alot of the time, impacting the over all experience. In short, incredible food, but don't expect the above and beyond experience others can offer.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted by a friendly member of staff and shown to our table. We ordered a variety of mains, including the Chicken Schezwan, Chicken Satay, Mongolian Lamb and Seabass - all with egg fried rice. The portions are extremely generous; and we enjoyed the taste of all our dishes. So, we definitely felt we got our money’s worth there! My mocktail was lovely (Pearl Tea). Unfortunately, we found the table service and desserts put a damper on our experience. My daughter and I ordered the Nutella Bao (which was good). The other desserts, however, including the Passion & Matcha sponge cake, “The Thousand Layers”, and the chocolate brownie were near inedible. When we raised our concerns at the end of our meal, about how we couldn’t even eat most of our desserts (and you could see, they’d only had one bite taken out of them), the waitress (medium height, South Asian) did not bat an eyelid. We all felt she was quite rude and dismissive in fact. Her reply was “Well, that’s just how it comes”. She did mention that she’d bring our points up with the chefs but I’m absolutely sure she didn’t (It really didn’t seem like she cared). Also, sadly, after our meal we were left waiting a long time for our table to be cleared, for our dessert order to be taken, and for any additional things we asked for. It’s a shame - because this restaurant has such great potential. We love decor and the main food and drinks menu. With some major improvements to the FOH service, this could become one of the nicest Chinese restaurants in Birmingham.

Firstly, the service was incredibly swift, with drinks, starters, mains, and desserts arriving promptly. Everything was delicious, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and trying something else from the menu. We had 🍸- Mogao 🍽 - Nyonya Lamb with Jasmine rice 🍽 - Spicy king prawn 🍰 - Imperial garden 🍰

Family outing with some friends. Poor start - waited in line for almost 20 minutes in a queue at reception - staff attentively asking if everyone had reservations (that everyone did) but not actually doing anything…. Eventually sat down (no apology obviously) and then service immediately left - no explanation of menus etc. On return ordered standard mix of pre-food cocktails, some starters and main courses. Starters arrived sans cocktails. Good food - nice twists on standard fare - duck pancakes esp. nice. Multiple apologies for no drinks (at all) - eventually arrived just after we’ve finished our starters. Not apologetic enough and just poor really. Main courses were all ok except for my black cod which was just fantastic. Just an amazingly good dish. Made the meal for me if not for anyone else. If you go there order it….. Ordered some deserts for those who wanted but and then there it was - sorry we’ve turned the coffee machine off…. My inner dialogue was WELL TURN IT THE F*** BACK ON THEN. But as it was a family outing it was ‘well sure if that’s the case no big deal then’. Having been left waiting 20mins to get in, our drinks order problem and the coffee issue the £50 obligatory service charge seemed a kick in the wallet. £600 for 7. Almost worth it for the cod…!Just a step below the quality of food and service I expect for the price: Except for the cod… Did I mention the cod??

We attended for my post RCGP ceremony and we loved everything about the place. Ian was wonderful… he made sure to take our orders and was available to make sure we were alright throughout. We will definitely attend again.

Our first visit to Lulu wild after many people have told us about the fabulous food and service. Finally we succumbed and alternated from Tattu, our usual for fine dining Asian cuisine. And we are delighted we did. Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary tonight looked after by Loren. Her service was as good as we’ve after had. Attentive, warm, informative and very accommodating - exceptional by any standard. Thank you Loren for making our evening very special. We will return and specifically ask for you to look after us.

I liked the food and atmosphere but the music was a bit too loud and giving headache but rest is really good. Enjoyed the food a lot and the cocktails. Male bar staff very polite and helpful. Also, Pallavi served us well.

This place is a Gem, we dined here last night, the food was delicious. The manager Yuri spent time at our table talking us through the process of the beautiful dim sum. I ate Singapore Noodles and Chicken Dimsum! So yummy 😍! Portion sizes were incredible and the food was cooked to perfection! This place is allergy friendly- they showed me an allergy menu straight away! 🎉 (I have 2 nut allergies), and there are plenty of options! My friend got egg fried rice and a chicken dish- she said they were really good! Would recommend all!

We have an excellent experience, largely thanks to Ian who looked after us superbly - to extent of arranging a special cocktail for my wife to meet her (demanding!) needs. Beyond the service, food was very good, a tad spicy maybe but that was my own error. Wine by glass was decent though a fairly limited choice (but maybe better to have few fresher options than bigger range and stale risk..). Great vibe in the bar / restaurant, our second visit and we like that Lulu Wild isn’t just a glitzy bar, the food and service offering have substance, quality ingredients and preparation.
