Not for everyone. Service is typical for a Chinese hotpot. Food is buffet style all you can eat, so not everyone in your party has to be quite as edventurous as you. Cook your own tripe and sea food while your mate has fried chicken and ribs. Love the experience. Often busy.

I visited this fantastic restaurant for my first time trying hotpot with my family. However, as a black family we received negative behaviour from one of the groups that were seated by us in the restaurant. They sneered, pointed, stared and laughed at us. We had to finally speak up and tell them to leave us alone. It made us very uncomfortable.I was extremely disappointed.The staff were outstanding and extremely lovely. The food was fresh. Will be visiting again!

Must try the Snow-Peak tea in Happy lamb! Chinese people never lied to Chinese!

I have been here previously and it was a really great experience but the last time I went (it was around 5pm) I was told to come back after 7 if I was dining on my own. I checked online and they had tables available to book so it wasn't due to over subscription. Very disappointing that they will turn you away if you are dining alone

The food was okay. If it is your first time, you will find it difficult and a little embarrassing. We had to go to the server to ask how to go about it. Not all servers can speak good English, and it was a challenge to explain our order. It's not worth the price. Correct price list attached.

£29 per pax on Sunday evening for buffet hotpot. Satisfied with the ingredients presented. Started with a plate of beef and lamb slices, plenty choices of seafood and veg and cooked food on buffet section.

The restaurant was very slow in serving food. I asked three times and waited for half an hour before they said they forgot to place my order.

Amazing food. I love the spicy chicken broth. But, 1 star because I had to pay a whole 30 POUNDS more to those scammers because even though we had two 12 year old children with us, (11 pounds each) they made us pay double the price because their shoes were a bit high and that made them look taller than 1.55 meters tall. But they still don't have any right to take 30 pounds extra from us because they were both 12, and it clearly said 'under 13 OR under 1.55 meters' and they fit one of those categories, being under 13. We also had a student with us and added that to the booking so we get a 10% discount. Guess what? We weren't able to get the 10% discount. So that's how we lost 30 pounds to a bunch of scammers.

Great quality food with a large selection to choose from. They are really quick with their service and you don’t have to wait long for the meat or to have the broth topped up.

There is a wide variety of food, the lamb slices also tasted very fresh. There are also a lot of side dishes for you to take.

First time experience at Happy Lamb, staff were friendly and happy to help, beef and lamb were both amazing alongside the broth which was very rich and flavourful. Already planning the next visit.

The dining environment is good, and I am very touched to be able to eat hot pot in the UK. Maybe the meat is not of high quality, but it still tastes great.

We had lunch there, a great selection of food and all tasted great! However.. they were lot of things that they could improve. First of all, most of them speak very little English so they didn’t explain to us properly how things work. A lady at a till were so rude. She kept talking to me in foreign language ( didn’t even bother trying) so I had to tell her that I don’t understand. She looked very annoyed but what can I do? We sat down and ordered some drinks but we had to wait for a long time to receive it.. we had to ask them about three times. When we got to the till to pay our bill, they told us to pay for dinner price, even though we stopped eating before 16:30. It’s a shame because we always enjoy eating there, but we won’t go back there again.

We book a table with my 6 year old SEN child with severe food allergy. The customer service suggested I put my child next to reception table which is near the front door. Otherwise my child will be charged even not eating anything.

There are many kinds of food, the soup base is delicious, the environment is clean, and the waiters are polite. I have been here many times. But this time I was charged two people for drinks by mistake, but I didn’t have a check sheet. I didn’t find out until I got home that no one listened to me when I called the restaurant all day long!

Came here for lunch on a Monday and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty of choices for the hotpot as it should. The lamb was fresh and didn’t have that strong taste. The beef was leaner but also tasty. The sauces you need were all there. Fresh fruits for dessert were nice and a small mixture of little sweet cakes and ice cream. The cheap free flow soda was a nice option too. The staffs were all very pleasant and the restaurant and the bathrooms are clean. I’ll definitely come back.

About £23/person. Hot pot and drinks are available. And there are many types of ingredients, including duck blood and black tripe special ingredients. Drinks include our own lemon tangerine and sour plum soup. praise From just a few tables of customers more than a year ago, we have witnessed more and more Hong Kong people/Cantonese speaking customers coming. Even the lunch market on weekdays is almost full. If this continues, you really need to make a reservation in advance or arrive early before the opening...

very upset with the service of this place upon arrival we was greeted with dirty looks and faces being pulled we sat down to see if we could book (this being our first time) my sister put her phone on charge as it was dead and we proceeded to try work out how to get a table , rudely the guy came over telling us we can’t wait inside and must wait outside (barely speaking english ) we confused to why we could not wait there he then took the phone charger out and said we must get out it’s customer only. we will not be eating here as the atmosphere was off completely ( i do recommend hadilio hot pot just up the road and service is amazing
