Happy House in Birmingham

Shop definitely has no frills look to it...however would highly recommend the food...it was very delicious & good prices. It's not on my side of town but would highly recommend and will visit again when over that way for sure!!

Awful food since the take over, it was our best Chinese before! Shame the customer service and food went down hill, we eat else where now! 🤮

Been ordering here for years and even thou we live in Northfield we drive down here as it's second to none the food is always fresh and flavoursome from starters to mains it can't be beaten the beef in black bean and the salt and chilli dishes here are an all time favourite and the ribs you won't get any better 😁 enjoy.

Do not order from here i have been throwing up all day after eating this last night i have spoke to the doctor and confirmed food poisoning!!

The father-in-law recommended this place, now i ain’t going anywhere else. 👌🏾

As far as Chinese take aways go in this area or possibly south Birmingham its up there. Had a take away with the mrs the weekend the food was lovely, good sized portions and hot. This shop has been there for years so that says a lot for its self. Me and the girl friend really enjoyed it, we had Chicken Chow Mein Cantonese style ribs Salt and chilli chips Mini spring rolls and a pot of curry sauce 🤤😋🍽️🍛

My go to Chinese, simple! Always fast delivery and hot fresh food, best crispy beef I've had anywhere.

Use to go here all the time food started to get horrible thought I would try the food again 24/11/23 ordered 2x specials ( chicken fried rice , chips in curry sauce and a chicken and bbq pork fried rice chicken was over cooked no taste to the rice and to much salt ) absolutely horrible my dog wouldn’t even eat it , £19.60 what a waste of money 100% not using them again

This Chinese take away is soo fresh and flavoursome. They take in board any dietary requirements as I'm allergic to peppers. I'd highly recommend this place 👌🏾

Been ordering from here for years and it never disappoints. Curry is spicy, Cantonese sauce isn’t too sweet and the salt and chilli options are very tasty. If you like ribs these are really good; far superior to the competitor down the road. Meaty short ribs with a proper bite rather than chewing on a a bone. I did like it better when the Singapore noodles had a few kings prawns rather than lots of small prawns, but that’s person preference; the dish is still lovely. Delivery has never been late and food always arrives hot. Our most recent order was peak time on a Saturday and it arrived in half an hour. Fantastic. Not cheap, but worth it and certainly cheaper than eating out.

Genuinely the best Chinese takeaway I've had! I generally order a chicken dish with rice which both always taste super fresh and well cooked, and the portion sizes are great.

I do not say this lightly but this is the best Chinese in Birmingham, neigh, the best Chinese in the UK. I have been ordering here for over 2 years and they have never disappointed! Cannot recommend highly enough!! There are not a lot of bad reviews but if there are DO NOT LISTEN because it’s honestly amazing!

Been going here for over 40 yrs. Food is always nice. The bbq spare ribs in bbq sauce are a favourite in our house. Nice family run Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend their Chicken balls and Singapore fried rice and Beef Chow mein... Yummy!!!

Had a lovely 'take in' meal this evening. love their dishes as never too salty or greasy. Food arrived on time and was hot. Have used Happy House several times and not been disappointed. Prices are very reasonable, so give them a try.

We use this chinese a couple of times a month, it’s always lovely food and really quick collection times usually 15-20 mins. We’ve even moved house and although a little further away still use this chinese as we know it’s lovely and we can trust to always have a nice takeaway meal.

Apart from the oil that to my personal sensitive taste is in need of changing (chips had a taste of banana fritters 😲) i would of given 5* apart from that the food is usually always delicious.

I've been coming to Happy House for many years and they never fail to supply a tasty, satisfying meal in good time. Particularly fond of their duck in plum sauce.

Great food, and great service, we decided to try this takeaway as our usual one was so busy it was not answering the phone.......I am so glad that we picked this Chinese. The food is GREAT, they only charge £1.00 for local delivery and the staff are alway happy to help.

I have been ordering from Happy House for the past couple of years and have found that the food is consistently good and the delivery times are without fail exceptionally quick. The staff have always been friendly as you would expect from a take away called 'Happy House'
