The best local Bakery in the heart of wombourne! We've used this Bakery for the past 8 years since moving into the area. We wouldn't go anywhere else, the standard of customer service is excellent, always a warm welcome from staff, nothing is ever too much trouble, the cobs and bread are delicious made on site too. You can't beat a proper Bakery! Not forgetting the wide range of cakes they have available (Lemon is our favourite) and also the afternoon tea boxes as a treat. We've had numerous cakes for special occasions over the years and they never disappoint. In November 2024 we had our first buffet from them for our Engagement Party. WOW! There wasn't one guest that didn't pass comment on how beautiful the spead was, catering for everyone, such a selection, wide range of choices too and so fresh! It went down a treat! We would definitely recommend this Bakery for Breakfast, lunch deals, cakes, bread and more! Also love how Windmill Bakery supports local events and fundraisers. You would find it hard to match, never mind beat, the value, service and quality of this place. Well done to the Windmill Bakery Team.

Small friendly Greek restaurant, Great Greek food , the service was very good and the waitress very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening meal , the only down side …… you had sold out of Baklava.

Busy, small bustling place, not really the atmosphere for intimate evenings and discrete chat but the overall vibe was good and the music was decent. Burgers & were fantastic and service was friendly. The sharing platter enjoyed by our friends also looked very impressive. Prices were fairly expensive but we had a great night at Smowkhaus and would definitely return.

The venue is now called the ‘Barrow Street Cafe’. It is a simple, humble place which does all day breakfasts. Very good poached eggs on toasts. Dog friendly and keen to cater for the various allergies and aversions people seem to have these days. Good prices, friendly.

The food and service were very good. The curries were fresh, subtly spiced and well presented. Good naans too! A very reasonable £72 for 4, which included 2 large Kingfishers.

Absolutely love this place ,have yet to try the food but the staff are really friendly, the drive up is a bit bumpy but it's worth when you see that lake ,it has been drained and made save to swim ,very happy with this venue .

Passing Craven Arms on my way back home to Wales, I popped in for haddock & chips to take home. Knowing it would take me a while to get home, they paper-wrapped everything, and then very kindly wrapped everything in foil to help keep it warm! The food was absolutely delicious. Thanks Freemans! I was tired out after a long journey, didn't feel like cooking, and this hit the spot 10/10. Although I don't pass that way very often at dinner time, when I do, I make a point of popping in.

Saturday evening out, lovely food, will definitely be returning. Really good Carbonara. Only negative is it's very bright in there, maybe could do with a dimmer switch on them.

This place does the most amazing Carvery and such amazing value. Proper fresh pub food and good beers as well. Great service and always friendly. Brilliant pub.

What I'd call a 'proper pub'. We go in before Wolves games. Atmosphere is always brilliant and the staff are really friendly.
