Guner'o in Telford and Wrekin

My favourite pizza place and we are always made to feel welcome with our little one. Great atmosphere and always service with a smile. Pizzas are amazing, but whether you’re having breakfast or evening meal this is a solid choice for food in Newport.

You would be hard pressed to find a better authentic Italian restaurant. The food is amazing, great staff and fantastic value for money. If you are in Newport, or live there, you have to try the food.

Gunero’s is a lovely restaurant that is situated in the censer of Newport and we were lucky enough to be able to park in St Mary’s street ( free parking) just 20 yards from the restaurant . The food yet again was lovely I chose the super Meat feast pizza and my wife a lemon pasta dish and our friends had calzone and arabata, all of which were wonderful. I couldn’t eat all of my pizza so took the remainder home “ you have to make room for pudding! “ we both had homemade waffles and our friends had chocolate fudge cake and Eaton mess , I can only speak for myself STUNNING and I believe the others were also impressed. Good drinks selection , great food , fantastic pricing “ great value for money “ Should be rammed at weekends when they open in the evening. Will defo be going again.

It was my first visit to Gunero’s in Newport , “ but it certainly won’t be my last!” The food was absolutely lovely , I had Smokey bacon carbonara and the ladies had beef stroganoff and all dishes were delicious. We then had waffles which I think where homemade and to be honest were stunning and one of the ladies had Eaton mess which was eaten with glee even though it was a big portion. The staff were pleasant and polite the restaurant was clean and the food was very reasonably priced 3x 2 courses a bottle of wine and 2 pints of IPA all for £90 ish ! We are going with different friends again next month fri & sat ( that’s how much I enjoyed it) This restaurant deserves a visit I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Booked here for a lunch with a friend. We both had salads which were tasty. The menu has extensive choice from chilli, to pasta, pizzas etc. Helpfully the menu was marked with plenty of gluten free options. I also had an Eton mess for dessert which was also lovely. I will definitely be back both with friends and I think my kids will also like the menu options.

Such an understated place but the food is excellent and so much choice- really something for everyone., meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans

We had a lovely lunch. Three of us had a pizza. I had the gluten free pizza. It was superb. The staff were all welcoming, cheerful and very friendly. They were not at all worried about serving gluten free options. Talking to them after the meal they are extremely aware of the need to prevent cross contamination. I was impressed with everything thing about the restaurant. The hot chocolate was superb and was actually hot rather than lukewarm!

The food is very good and the Staff are friendly and welcoming. They make the best bacon butties I have had anywhere!

Visited today with my daughter. Never been here before so didn’t know what to expect. We were greeted with a smile. The food was delicious. And the cleanest bathroom facilities I’ve seen in a very long time. We will defo be back. Thank you.

First and last visit. The cheeseburger meat pate is clearly a cheap, greasy, catering product with a tallow after-taste. Nice venue, staff were nice and I enjoyed a nice beer

Following a reccommendation we visited the restaurant for dinner. One meal was in-correct and could not be rectified as it would take to long! another was described incorrectly and was nothing like expected.. the third had an ingrediant added which we specifically asked to be removed. Very disappointing!

Been today had the blue blue burger what can I say it was full greese dripping the burgers themselves was not quality I felt sorry for I had tel waiters they said did I need anything els as I asked for menu the owner came to talk to me saying the greese was from Stilton . Then told me he wouldn't serve me nothing els I I hope this can help in anyway if use this establishment don't order the burgers plus arrogant owner

There's nothing home made here. Guacamole which tastes like it came from a lab and not a good one...yuk! Sour cream...I don't think so...more like some long life product containing vinegar and a few E numbers! Cheese??? Cheese product which tasted of nothing at all. Why do some restaurants think their customers don't know the difference between something decent and food which is cheap nasty stuff out of a can or tube. You won't be surprised to learn I won't be back....ever!

I cannot recommend Gunero's enough... The staff are very welcoming, the menu is extensive and the willingness to provide a gluten free option for whatever meal I choose is fantastic. Lovely freshly made gluten free food... and great chips!

I decided to treat myself to decent meal and discovered the Kitchen has been closed since 15th December. You see on TV restaurants desperate for customers clearly no the case here

Staff were absolutely lovely and dealt with drunk people very well. Incredible customer service so well done for dealing with drunk idiots so well also food is as very nice and reasonable prices

Nice relaxed atmosphere with great service from the friendly helpful staff. Extensive range of cocktails and something on the menu for everyone. Nice touch when the chef popped out to make sure everyone was happy.

Can't recommend this place enough. Guner and his team are amazing! Service is perfect, food is fabulous and very flavoursome together with amazing portions. The cocktails are superb and the atmosphere is lovely. Well worth every penny!
