Excellent value at £17.95 for three course Sunday lunch. Excellent quality of food with very generous portions. Great service - would definitely come again…
Well very disappointing, firstly they don't do what their web site says they do . Very average and then they automatically put on a 10 percent service charge for what is basically a pub
Stopped at the campsite next door. Unable to eat in the pub - as they don't allow dogs, but they offer a great take away service. Used on the first night as we were tired after the journey. Pub and food service was very busy,...
Well hidden down a back street but a loevely friendly welcome and a nice lunch. If you like eclectic styles with knick-knacks from through the years and vintage pre war music playing then this is a great little tea shop.
I had the soup of the day (lentil & vegetable) and a pot of Wylie's own blend tea. was lovely and a little like stepping back in time. Would return and reccomend.
First reaction was to how dirty the carriages were. Our table hadn't been wiped over and was dirty from the previous passengers. The flooring erea was also covered in bits of food and rubbish. I couldn't put my jacket above my seat because the shelf was covered in dust. The train ride itself was nice and the stations are lovely. The steam engines are certainly impressive. The food was hit and miss for me. Very nice rice and spring roll but my chicken skewer was overdone and very hard and dry. Overall was it worth £120 for 2 people i have to say no.
I do not usually leave many reviews unless I think its worth it but please read this as I needed to share. This is definately the best food for miles. The menu is full of different and must try dishes. We had a mixture of balti, bhuna & massala dishes and WOW !!!!!. It is obviously made with care and an experienced chef. If you want to try something special then ring them now and you wont be disappointed.👍😋
Our first visit but definitely not our last. Extensive menu and great service came with some great banter with the friendly staff.
Very busy which is always a good sign, so make sure to book a table.
Cobra on draught and a good wine list too.
Well recommended.

I’m not a fan of Indian food, but my wife is so we went for Valentine’s Day. Service was excellent. Price was fixed but could choose from any items on the menu. I did enjoy it too
