The best restaurants in West Midlands

I’m not a fan of Indian food, but my wife is so we went for Valentine’s Day. Service was excellent. Price was fixed but could choose from any items on the menu. I did enjoy it too

So delicious! Went in for brunch/late breakfast, we had double bacon,sausage&egg oatcakes. Cooked perfectly! My only downpoint is the seating area could of done with a mop of the floor. Returning very soon! A bonus point for the free chocolate pikelets!x

11 of us visited on a Monday evening for a family get together. The menu choice was extensive and everything we ordered was tasty, full of flavour and generous size portions. It was served in very good time and piping hot. One of our party had pizza and that was delicious too. The waitress was respectful and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Possibly some of the best curries we have had!

Had a lovely time. Food was great and the service was brilliant. Everyone was smiling and happy which made our visit more enjoyable and relaxed. Will definitely be returning soon.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, service very good. A really relaxing and great lunch. Well worth the visit, our first time. Will definitely recommend.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here for a birthday, it was lovely! Service on cocktails was fast and drinks were great.

Proper boozer. 16th century building, bit worn around the edges but shedloads of character, you pay for the beer in your glass not the paint on the walls. And at £3.20 for an excellent 3.9 light bitter you'll have enough left over for a pickled egg! Sun trap beer garden and friendly staff a bonus.

Walked in today,only to be greeted by staff saying horrible remarks about customers not quietly may I add, then I brought turkey and ham pie. Or should I say a mortens mouldy pie it’s a good thing I spotted it when I did or I reckon I’d be pretty ill right now. Needless to say won’t be visiting again and highly advised those who do to be careful.

A nice pub, where you can visit. Have a good choice of beers in a very pleasant environment. Tops

It was one of the best lamb pathias I've had in a long time. Portions are generous, and the lamb melts in your mouth. Everything came hot and delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Highly reccomended

The food is nice and as expected I think it reasonable considering other restaurants in the area. I would say this is our first choice at the moment the only thing that stops me every time is the fact you can’t pay by card or online. I never carry enough cash, so even when I want Chinese food I end up crossing the road for an Indian or going elsewhere for convenience.

Absolutamente comida abismal. Nos dieron una mesa en la parte trasera del restaurante frente al coro y la pared. El entrante de salmón era barato y apretado. El cordero no era solo rosa, era francamente crudo y tan duro que no podía cortarse, básicamente indisoluble. El queso de coliflor era sólo un tazón de papilla. Toda mi familia estaba profundamente decepcionada por sus elecciones de comida. El camarero notó los platos y ofreció algunos reemplazos de pavo en su lugar, pero en este momento no los queríamos. Comida abrumadora y barata y bebidas sobrevaloradas. Nunca más - y hasta entonces éramos clientes repetidos también.

My first time using this fish and chip shop, honestly I would highly recommend the best chips I have tasted in a long time. The service was amazing, the pregnant lady served me and she was so lovely May God bless her and her family always.
