The best restaurants in South West

Come in tonight to get dinner and when we got it home the fish was like mush cold/uncooked the two guys working in there seemed on edge and keep checking the door who was coming in The chips seemed vile the guys working don't have a clue how to cook or anything won't be going here again bring back Sam!!!!!!!!!! Worst food I've ever had.

Great service and lovely breakfast washed down with excellent coffee. Budget friendly too!

A very well run coffee shop very popular and the food was great the coffee delicious and the staff friendly and helpful well presented and efficient with plenty of parking space

Lovely place, I use it regularly, my only slight gripe is that the full English breakfast, which is around £8 something for the large one, the sausage could be a better quality & I would prefer real butter on my toast.

Another lovely evening meal at the Lorna Doone restaurant yesterday. Always so welcoming and friendly. Our guest had the chicken pie, my husband ate the saltimbocca and I had a perfectly cooked, juicy fish. Mel's suggestion of the Sangiovese - as we all felt like red wine - was perfect. Unusually we even went for pudding. I loved the rhubarb pudding and my husband enjoyed the sticky toffee. We'll be back soon! Thank you!

Nice icecream. Felt the price was a little steep for the portion size. Good ice cream, not great. Nor sure how to explain it. It was nice. And that is it.

Went out with my girlfriend from out of town, planned to meet up with a few friends, we were going to walk around cheddar then come here for some food. Girlfriend went to use the toilet and was met with a hostile staff member - telling her she was unable to use the toilet and had to buy something. She was told she should have ‘read the signs’, which she didn’t see nor locate easily. We understand it’s a rule and did plan to come in later for food but do not appreciate the lack of general manners and welcoming from staff. We didn’t come back.

Bloody loveeeed it here , sandwich was 10/10 and also got given a free massive chunk of biscoff cheesecake because they were closing !!! Good value for money and portions are hugeee. Staff are absolutely lush as well !

Had a brilliant meal this evening, food was incredible and served really quickly. Great prices and great service. Would highly recommend going here, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was amazing along with the drinks and staff! Atmosphere was grate if not a bit loud due to a birthday party going on at the same time, other than that 10/10

Love this boat café, really great range of food options, drinks and cakes. Very sweet person who runs it. Really nice spot for people watching and enjoying the light playing on the water.
