The best restaurants in South West

The food here was wonderful. The waitress was very polite, and they were able to accommodate my request to have my burger plain. They even reduced the price of the burger by £5 as a result. The atmosphere was very good. You couldn't hear glasses clinking together being collected, like you could in any other bar/restaurant, and you could actually hear yourself think which was nice. While there was an amount of noise due to other customers talking that's just to be expected. There's a nice selection of cakes and sweet treats to buy and they all look very nice. Would definitely come again

Wow. Amazing venison burger and equally delicious Thai Curry. Highly recommended. Service was great and reasonably priced for such good quality.

I went for the lunchtime tasting menu which is beautifully curated. The multiple courses were artfully presented by knowledgeable staff and each bite was light and delicious. It was lovely to watch the exceptionaly calm kitchen in action. Sadly the photos do not do the food justice!

Good vegan options. The waitress was nice. Toilet and parking available. However the cleanliness could be improved. We managed to find a couple of hair in the two dishes we ordered.

A wonderful little café with excellent scones and cakes, and very friendly staff. Even our dog was treated to water and dog ice cream. The quiet location invites you to linger.

Bitt af a wait to be served not enough fresh fish in stock 😒 but what was there taste great .... May have been due too first week open ...

Had a couple of super curries, one chicken and one veggie, on the Monday night special. Good value and the pub has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Would recommend!

My wife and I call in here every time we visit Weymouth We enjoy the superb crab sandwiches and cakes, but this is the first time we have tried the seafood sharer. Accompanied with toasted ciabatta, it contains scampi, squid, prawn, cod, mackerel pate, crab, and to our delight, sweet potato chips - all of the highest standard. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent fish and chips, with real homemade chips not frozen. Batter was delicious and fish thick and juicy, huge portions.

We loved everything about this pub, from the friendly welcoming service to the amazing home made food, everything was lovely! Highly highly recommend and we will definitely be going back on our next trip to Devon!

Very nice traditional pub. The food is great and well cooked. I ordered a lamb and it was delicious. Probably it even better in summer time because there are tables outside

Absolutely fantastic little pub. Maisy the Waitress was perfect. Very polite, fantastic service and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed 😌 5 star from me. We had starter, main, pudding and coffee and can not fault at all.
