The best restaurants in South West

I have been visiting The Kitchen now for many years and I can honestly say that it is the best place to eat in Somerset! I travel 16 miles most weeks to eat here with my husband and friends the food is always absolutely delicious the manager and staff are welcoming, helpful and go above and beyond to ensure everything is done to an exceptionally high standard. The decor and atmosphere is exquisite. Thank you so much for always making our visits so enjoyable guys it is much appreciated.

The best chip shop in Gloucester .

Food was good quality but the tiny portions are an insult considering it's £5 more than a normal breakfast cafe. Nice welcome though. * Review revised as I made one mistake mixed it with another on same page. Apologies. However the 3/5 stars remain valid because both the breakfast portions were small in our opinion. I visited with an experienced chef from the area. We had a vegetarian breakfast and a Turkish egg breakfast.

Community is everything. Hopefully milkshakes make a return 🧋

Really interesting cocktails that taste amazing

Myself my partner and our little dog Honey have just had the nicest few days at Housel bay hotel. From the day we arrived we was so welcomed and our little dog was spoilt throughout our stay. Great views from the hotel and a really high quality restaurant and bar. Breakfast was great and a wide variety of choice. All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Lucy and Molly. What a fabulous place, candlelit, atmospheric and a very well cooked fillet steak. If you want something different and unique this is your place. Try and go when the roof is open, the views are stunning.

Good choice of well kept cask/keg ales at good prices. Place is small and only takes card payments. It is worth a visit if you are in the area.
