Food was delicious and the wine flight was worth while doing.

A must do whilst in Bristol. Food top class. Had the meat set menu for lunch with the wine flight whilst my vegetarian neice had the vegie option.. Food was amazing, wine selections brilliantly paired by the sommelier. All round great experience. Highly recommended.

This is what feels like a really intimate little restaurant. The food flavour combinations are high quality. I don't know about the small lunch menu, but I feel the dinner menu is just enough. Price points towards quality of ingredients, chefs ability to make you savour every mouthful rather than quantity. Waiters are very knowledgeable

Excellent service from the staff who are very knowledgeable on the meals served. They are also very attentive and will take you're plates ASAP when you've finished. Incredible tasting menu, we loved each course and enjoyed the whole experience.

We enjoyed our first visit. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is very well presented, and there are some clever touches. Perhaps more cafe than restaurant vide, and those chairs are damn uncomfy!

We visited Adelina Yard for our anniversary and it was the best food experience we've ever had. We got engaged that morning and my other half had let them know his plans before hand so they brought us sparkling wine when we arrived which made the meal even more special. The team were amazing from start to finish, from wine recommendations to explaining each course. The food can only be described as incredible; each course was so individual that it was impossible to choose a favourite; although we've agreed we could eat the spiced cake with taleggio and pear every day. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back which was so lovely and probably why we were the last table to leave! It was a Wednesday night but we didn't feel rushed out at all. Thank you to Olivia and the whole team at Adelina Yard for making our anniversary/engagement an even more memorable day ❤️

We certainly had enough food 14 courses although small individually amounted to a huge meal. I would not recommend the wine pairing though. The wine itself was great but not necessarily complements the food except for the Pinot noir and lamb course. It's expensive (about £190 per head) but worth a visit. Service was excellent.

Went for our wedding anniversary on recommendation of friends and was not disappointed. Food, wine & service were excellent throughout the evening. Serena was a fantastic advert for the business from start to finish. Not a cheap evening but well worth it for the experience.

Went for a Friday night taster menu. No disputing the food is immaculate. The wine pairings were also brilliant if a little under generous with the portions poured. A must visit if in the area!

excellent food, faultless service. Very uncomfortable chairs for a three and a half hour experience, small tables and dirty worn out dried flower arrangement. It was £240 for two of us which I didn't mind paying, but this is more of a café than a fine dining establishment. A bit more luxury wouldn't go amiss.

Wednesday/Thursday tasting menu is fabulous and great value.

Incredible food on every single course of this fantastic tasting menu. Bursting with flavours and textures to excite the pallet, we really enjoyed this (as much as we previously enjoyed Paul Ainsworth at No6; which was twice the price of Adelina Yard). Adelina Yard also offered a wine flight, where, for the first time ever, I "got" the pairings with every glass perfectly complimenting each dish. Sublime service brought in-depth descriptions of each course and its corresponding wine, all in a relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful evening, wonderful team, producing wonderful dishes. Will definitely return.

My husband and I came to visit this weekend! We had a 12 course taster menu where I did not like 4 of those, however, the server was amazing, receptive to my feedback about swapping the desserts around to cleanse the pallet for those beautiful desserts. They were passionate about the wine selections and the way the food was presented to us. It came out in a beautifully well coordinated fashion and the atmosphere was lovely. Although a bit of light jazz music would have been awesome. Thank you so much for catering to us we will be coming back soon! Xx

Sophisticated but yet very simple. The food was amazing, super delicious and beautiful. Most of the wines were very nice and complimented well the meals. The stuff was amazing, super friendly and was very interesting to listen about the food and the wine they were bringing to the table. We had the tasting menu with the wine flight and the food was more than enough, despite other comments.

Amazing lunch menu, well worth the cost

Wow! Came as a group of 4 for the Taster Menu, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, nice table atmosphere and just stunning food. It brought us together (and divided us sometimes!) as we tasted, savoured and discussed each presentation. Highly recommended, we were there for 4 hours!

I’ve just left Adelina Yard and am on my way home. Firstly the food is excellent. I can have no complaints. However, for the money (£307 for 2 people), the service is not good enough and it is the first time in around 5 years I have asked for the service to be taken off the invoice. The water that we ordered at the beginning of the meal was forgotten. Food was brought out before our drinks order was taken and our final course was forgotten, leaving us sat there for 25 minutes whilst others who came in after us had been served, had paid and had left. Honestly, I’m really disappointed given the other glowing reviews.

What a wonderful evening experience. Exceptional tasting menu servings seasonal, and most importantly tasty, produce. The wine accompaniment was also really good. Service was top notch. We really enjoyed our time here and spent about four hours in total but it flew by. We're absolutely coming back!

Really lovely tasting menu, I can’t think of any dish that I didn’t love but certainly my standout favourites were the raw beef and smoked ox heart and the tarte tatin with the blue cheese. Adelina Yard is set in a small and intimate restaurant and the atmosphere was really nice, especially early on when it was quiet but it does get loud and bustling as the evening goes on - we seated at 18.30 and left around 9.45, so strap in for a long meal! Pacing was excellent though, none of the dishes felt overwhelming and I left the restaurant feeling nicely full. We didnt opt for the wine flight but saw others did and it looked generous and the wines were high quality. Great choice for a special meal that doesn’t break the bank!

Best restaurant I have been to in Bristol (forget supposedly highly regarded places like Wilsons and Sonny Store, I wouldn't go back to either), this is proper fine dining with lovely service. My tasting menu meal was absolutely divine, the wine flight full of fun surprises and the service really perfect. The fish dishes were especially good and desserts. I will definitely be back soon. Uncomfortable hard chairs but that's standard in modern restaurants unfortunately.

Went for lunch today and couldn’t have been more delighted! Strong flavour combinations, and precise execution - loved the yellow tuma chocolate & Jerusalem artichoke dessert, beautiful smoked eel dish, gorgeous blue cheese with a chutney that packed a punch and melt in your mouth dry aged beef with burrata and ponzu. Delicious!

Amazing lunch, first time for me and it was all delicious. Great price for set lunch of 5 courses at such a high standard. I wouldn’t have extra cheese course again as that was over priced at £9. Highlights the eel dish, just sublime. Service was great, very attentive but not intrusive. PS the texture of the plate you served ham hock on was awful, only change I’d make.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and the staff were incredible.

Recently had a truly excellent meal here to celebrate our engagement. Every course was expertly presented and delicious with good descriptions provided by the waiters. I would highly recommend getting the wine flight as each paired really well with the food. I would say the raw beef, burrata and smoked ox heart was my particular favourite but every course was amazing (all 13 of them!). Our meal took three hours but each course was provided promptly upon finishing the last and really did fly by. We were very full by the end but still managed to finish everything. It's certainly not cheap but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Absolutely beautiful lunch here! Couldn't fault it! The service - fabulous. The food sublime! Usually at the end of a tasting menu we choose best dish and least favourite dish - all were equally exceptional! Cant wait to come back.

We’ve had the taster menu a couple of times now and this place is a real treat. Couldn’t fault the food or wine, and almost every bottle that we liked that we checked out on Vivino, cost more than we would ever consider spending on a bottle of wine. This place is a little gem.

Amazing meal! I considered giving 4 stars due to issues at booking around dietary requirements but it was the best meal I’ve ever had and came away full, which isn’t always the case at fancy restaurants! The food was delicious, the service on the evening was so attentive, the staff were knowledgeable and it’s a lovely setting with great atmosphere. The issue we had was that they say they can accommodate for gluten free on their website so my (now fiancé) booked this for the night he was planning to propose, he put in the booking that I am gluten intolerant and did not receive a response. He contacted the restaurant before to confirm they’d seen the dietary requirement and received a response 2 days before, saying they cannot accommodate- this was very stressful. We struggled to find a table somewhere special on a Saturday night at 48 hours’ notice so decided to risk it and hope there wasn’t too much gluten involved (be careful and double check with the restaurant if you have requirements). After all of that stress, they were amazing and adjusted my food, creating my own menu to ensure I could enjoy every course! I would also recommend the wine pairing- amazing! It was a very special meal, just a shame about the stress in the lead up to our visit.

Adelina Yard is absolutely incredible and everyone must go. Food is sensational and service is friendly, informative and welcoming. It is rare to find food of this quality and when you do treasure it. Bristol is blessed to have these people in the city. Massive respect guys.

I would seriously struggle to fault the 4 course taster lunch menu that I had, from the food to the service and the wine pairing. Honestly one of the best eating out experiences that I can remember. The venison dish was sensational. If I were to be hyper critical then perhaps the wine flight servings could be a tad bigger, but I appreciate that this would be difficult given the quality of the wines.

Adelina Yard is highly recommended, and we can see why. The restaurant is small with a personalised service. We had the taster menu, and it was well presented and varied; we particularly enjoyed the 'snack' of beet macaroon and the eel. Well priced and lovely for a lunch.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Food was just tremendous. Overall there were 13 courses and we also went for the accompanying wine flight. My best course was by far the beef but they were all special. The staff were so so attentive and knowledgeable and we both really enjoyed all that Adelina had to offer.

Its late October and I still cannot stop thinking about the pecorino, fruitcake and dessert wine pairing we had in May👌

It's very cold inside the Adelina Yard in autumn and winter time so it was really uncomfortable to sit for 3h for food and drinks experience. But thanks to chefs, food was delicious

The Saturday night tasting menu was incredible. A mixture of delicious courses with a classic twist and some pleasantly surprising quirky ideas too.

An amazing experience. The tasting menu was one of the top 3 I have ever had. I loved the experimentation and every dish stood out! Normally you can choose a favorite not here. Will be back!

The food was good as what one would expect from their reputation and price. I found the service to be lacking. The wait staff were sloppy, at one point almost spilling sauce on my partner. Their explanation of the dishes wasn't great either. They kept giving the wrong description and then correcting themselves, they talked very quickly, and overall didn't seem to care. I was really looking forward to this dinner but left feeling underwhelmed.

Had a wonderful lunch today to celebrate becoming a U.K. citizen. Set menu was delicious (I had omnivore version and my friend had vegetarian) and at a very reasonable price. Service was excellent as well.

Good job we have TripAdvisor and knew where we were going as the taxi driver didn’t have a clue! Interesting decor, modern with the tatty antique twist. In other words confused, just like the remainder of the country! BUT we’re here for the cooking and that is ‘i.e.’ the culinary expertise of the chef which was second to none! The canopies to start, always a lovely welcoming excitement to the taste buds, waitress in partial ripped jeans, enthusiastically told us the third canopy is the best, however they were all tantalising (she was right) and advised throughout accordingly. From all the courses my wife picked the ‘Aged raw beef, burrata, ponzu, smoked ox heart’ as the best,and I, the …well actually everything! Moroccan Syrah was a superb change to other new world wines. Expensive but quelled with artistic fervour, a good experience, top marks.

This restaurant is an absolute must visit in Bristol. It has an extremely reasonably priced taster menu. The food is lovely and interesting. The service is great. The wine is beautifully paired.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The food was as good as, if not better than any michelin star restaurant I’ve eaten at before, but the atmosphere was superior. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly and truly made this a special evening.

This was everything we hoped- having watched Liv on GBM our daughters booked this for our anniversary. The tasting menu was incredible and we are so glad we got to eat this amazing food and got to chat to Liv as we were leaving. The wine flight and explanation of the food and wine added to the experience - thank goodness we were getting the bus home so we both enjoyed the wine

We were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant as there were so many good reviews and with it also being in the Michelin guide. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and staff were really friendly. We had the tasting menu and the first 4 courses (Marinated Tuna, Quail, Crab and Pink Bream) were delicious; however, things went downhill a bit after that. The heritage tomatoes and aged Parmesan was not pleasant at all. The aged raw beef was ok and the Dorset blue cheese and peach and rosemary tarte tatin was not to our liking as we both do not like blue cheese. I enjoyed the Cornish Brill and the Cornish Lamb was tasty enough too. I was very disappointed by the final Dessert, which was not not as expected and just very underwhelming, as I love desserts and expected something much better to end the meal. I had wine by the glass and the wines were decent but the actual wine menu was very small and there was not much choice at all. There was too much of a gap between courses and we felt like we were waiting ages. We had to rush them along for the final few courses as we had made another reservation elsewhere, which has to be contacted to arrange a later time. The one thing that really let the place down were the toilets. The restaurant itself was rustic and modern but the toilets were in need of modernising, fresh paint and some finishing touches. Overall it was a nice restaurant, lovely staff, food was hit and miss but I don’t think we would return if we visited Bristol again.

I can’t recommend this highly enough. My wife and I celebrated our 4th anniversary here last night. It’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are warm and highly knowledgeable. We had the tasting menu with paired wines (which is absolutely worth doing). The food was knockout - creative with meticulous attention to detail, and utterly delicious. I will definitely be back.

Its a nice place rustic look outdoor area could be better specially because its on river bank. Food was nice a but little gamey (i have that problem with French cuisine to be honest), i would have expected a bit more vibrance on summer menu. But most of the courses were very good. Staff was attentive but one guy was doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of explaining the dishes so a bit more training perhaps. I hope you take it as a bit of constructive criticism and i wish you all the best.

Food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The decor was a little boring and the toilets let the whole place down. Food was definitely Michelin worthy but small things like cheap basic toilets, cheap soap etc. could be changed to lift the whole place.

Had the lunch menu with the cheese supplement. What can I say, this was an excellent dining experience and should be tried. Felt like AY offers great value for money, brilliant service and amazing flavours.

Had a great couple of nights out here. Food is fantastic, wine is great. I always look for that wow moment and something that sticks in my memory and I found one of those here. The little lamb and anchovies lolly pop were just amazing. The passion from the front of house team is on point and really interactive. Good atmosphere and i like to sit at the back of the restaurant looking over the water. I've been a couple of times and will go again.

Excellent service very friendly staff. Good ambiance All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The rest rooms were clean but could of been of a better standard. Had a wonderful night out with my husband at Adelina Yard. We had the tasting menu with matching wines, and I'm glad we did. If I start with the latter, I have to say this was probably one of the best wine flights I've had. It seemed like it had been really well thought out, and the servers were articulate and knowledgeable about the wine and why it had been chosen for a particular course. Sometimes at restaurants, the wine is pleasant but doesn't grab you, whereas here there were a number of wines which struck both of us as being exceedingly good. In terms of the food there were many dishes that really stood out. In particular I thought the raviolo of bitter greens and the raw venison dish were both delicious - the latter I would not have necessarily chosen but it tasted fab. The beef and mushroom main course was perfect - the sauce that went with it lipsmackingly good. I also really loved the cheese course which came with a mini eccles cake. Appetizers and bread were also very enjoyable. The only dish I was not convinced with was one with white asparagus and black garlic. I'd also say that the desserts were a little less exciting than what had preceded. However, all in all - on the strength of the food and wine - we'd definitely come here again. Finally, the space feels quite romantic. The restaurant is compact and intimate - but in a good way - you still feel like you're in your own private dining space. Service was also excellent throughout. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal last night to celebrate my other half's birthday. The tasting menu was an incredible feast of flavours and textures, and the wine flight was lovely. The team knew each course inside out and were very friendly and engaging. This was our first visit, and I feel sure we'll be back again soon. A heartily recommended gourmet experience.

Best fine dining restaurant ever

I can't believe we've waited 7 years to visit this fantastic restaurant. It's small, personal & has such a lovely laid back feel given the high standard of food. Simply wonderful on every level... the amazing staff & service, great wine, great atmosphere & the little dishes of perfection that arrive one after another, after another. Using the best seasonal produce, elevated to their absolute best. Heaven! We couldn't have asked for a better evening. Thank you Adelina Yard, we will be back.

We had a superb lunch. The menu was exceptional and every mouthful was full of complex flavours. There wasn’t any ingredient that didn’t add a pop of extra flavour. Why this place hasn’t got a Michelin star is a mystery but the food ranked high...

Very good tasting menu offering and great value for money. Only downside was the gluten free options for my wife were a bit underwhelming. We had booked in advance and some of the courses that we ate were very different for my wife. For example the dessert based on a rhubarb gateau with rhubarb sorbet was just a scoop of sorbet with some fruit gel. Not really a dessert.

It was nice. I was contacted twice to confirm my booking as they were 'very busy'. The service lacked from this, was super slow... but as a very small restaurant either dont take the bookings or have more staff. It was 30 mins from ordering before our drink arrived and over 2.5 hours in total (2 people for lunch). A 5 course meal but very small portions especially on the veggie side, I left hungry. As a veggie the food was average and lacking in flavour but my partner said the meat and fish were brilliant. Wine pairing was good, the staff ate knowledgeable but very small pours and rushed to leave at the end. Dessert and petite fours were jelly like textures which as a veggie I personally didn't enjoy. Average. Wouldn't return.

I had an overall pleasant experience dining at Adelina Yard. The dining room was a bit cold after I’d sat down, though the staff immediately turned on the heater upon providing them notice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The standout dish was the Cornish hake with chicken, chanterelle, leeks, and chives (the chicken wing was extremely flavorful!). The plating was fairly creative and the tasting menu itself was an incredible value as a whole. If you’re in Bristol and looking for a reasonably-priced fine dining experience, I recommend Adelina Yard.

The best restaurant in Bristol at this moment in time. We had our wedding meal at Adelina Yard 5 years ago, and it was already excellent. Since then, Chefs Jamie and Olivia have managed to elevate their menu to a new level. Last evening was truly amazing. Attention to detail and knowledgeable staff have made our experience a memorable one. There was also a good selection of wines to choose from and an option for a wine flight. A big thanks to all the team.

Stunning Birthday lunch -very inventive, precise cooking, great relaxed service, with wine flights and knowledgeable yet not over the top explanation of each glass. Highlights ? Awesome tasting menu. Each dish a microcosm of flavours. As with any tasting menu, lots of small dishes but you end up leaving full up. Great service from the sommelier, giving simple but detailed descriptions of the matched wines and dishes.
