Visited today with my family, could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Attentive, accommodating and friendly staff. Ensured the 4 of us could sit together once another group had finished - making it much easier to keep an eye on our two little boys. Offered an easy alternative of baked beans on toast (though neither of our boys like that - think they're the only kids that don't!), but felt assured could ask for a very slight amendment to the sandwich offering for my eldest (6), we ordered our youngest (4) jam on toast which came with a selection of 4 jams! Exceeded expectations all round, expecting a loaf sized piece of lemon drizzle, when lemon cake was offered, instead it was a three layer lemon cake that was delicious, everything was really reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend without hesitation and I don't know for sure, but it sounds like they provide some level of takeaway too, if you're looking for picnic bits. Thank you
First trip to this new eatery, wow!
The place was busy and had a really good atmosphere, lovely location down in Sutton Harbour.
We had the crab and scrambled egg on toast and our daughter had the "make your own" breakfast as well as a few chocolate covered strawberries (of course!) the food was amazing, tasty and a decent portion.
In summary our new favourite brunch spot, we will definitely be back soon!
We booked the upstairs bar for a private party (at not additional cost).
The decor is lovely it has a really warm and inviting feel.
Mark the owner was super responsive to all my enquiries prior to the event and nothing was too much hassle on the evening.
A great night was had by all the the music was great as well, perfect venue for birthday meals and party's or a hen do. Will definitely return. Thank you Mark and team.
WOW WOW The food was absolutely fantastic, the small serving Tapas style gave us all a chance to share and try the food from the menu. Michael was a great host, and also his staff, they also catered for my Grandson for Dinner, looking forward to his next chapter
Amazing ice cream I live in London next to some great ice cream parlours but this is the absolute best. Beats the London parlours homemade and lives rent free as the top for me
A fabulous cafe!! First visit to Redruth and we love it and this cafe. Brilliant carrot cake with the best icing I've ever tasted! A realm community in here and books for sale. Thanks all involved! Helen - London
An amazing cooked breakfast, fabulous quality sausages and bacon. Owners are really helpful and friendly. would highly recommend, it's now become our go to for whenever we are in the area
We enjoyed a really fantastic lunch here today. I can’t express enough just what a delight it was. Food at its absolute best served by a delightful and knowledgeable young man just made the whole experience perfect. We will definitely be back .
This little cafe stands out from its competitors with lovely fresh food, beautifully presented and at a good price. We return whenever we are in Lyme Regis

“Seafood from the coast of Exmouth straight to your plate. This is what the website says and that is exactly what you get. Tucked away just behind the main street in Exmouth is this lovely seafood restaurant. A small bar and dining area downstairs with more dining and the kitchen upstairs. If you can secure a table upstairs you can see many of the dishes being prepared in front of you. The menu is as you would expect mainly fish with a meat option of steak. Starters are around £7-10 with mains between £28-32. My only slight grumble is that potatoes/chips and greens are all extra. At these prices they should be included. We were a party of 5 (6 is the maximum table size) and we all had really excellent and memorable food. One of our party was 90 and thought her fish was one of the best she had ever tasted. There is a good wine list with prices starting at £22 per bottle.
Today I had a delicious jacket potato with cheese, coleslaw and salad at the Chamwell cafe, my friend had fried eggs on toast which she really enjoyed and her 18 month old Granddaughter had a lovely time playing in the children's area, there is a good children's menu if she had needed to eat, there were lots of other toddlers and babies there and the atmosphere was great, the staff are very friendly and we will definitely be going again very soon.
Really fantastic local community bar run by the local community. They hold a great Guinness and have fantastic stone baked pizza. I was invited to the new year event and was made to feel welcome constantly. Definitely a must visit.
Lovely surroundings, excellent service and reasonably priced well-made coffee. My brother and I are on a surfing trip and have made this our morning coffee stop. Well worth a visit and getting an alcohol licence this week which adds another dimension.
