Used to come here for breakfast when it first opened and it was brilliant, food was delicious. The pictures I see on here are from around that time. Really support its cause and think it’s a brilliant use for the community. However went for breakfast and can only assume they have all new staff as I’m sad to say it was really awful. Everything was undercooked, hash brown was stone cold, toast came out pre-buttered (this wasn’t stated or asked) and was more bread than toast. Really disappointed as know it can be a brilliant local family friendly cafe but won’t be returning for food at least. Good for a coffee catch up or milkshake though.

The food here used to be amazing. They seem to have changed chef, the Italian gentleman has gone. We had a cooked breakfast. Everything was undercooked, the hash brown was cold in the middle, the bacon and sausages barely cooked, the beans were cold and the mushrooms were hard. Even the toast seemed to have avoided the toaster. At least the fired egg was edible! Really disappointed.

Brilliant service. Food was hot and delicious. Really clean and friendly service. Loads of parking. Staff were lovely. Can’t recommend enough.

My review is based on anticipation of a visit, because I spent 30 minutes wandering around Gloucs city centre looking for it based on the Tripadviser map :)

Absolutely a great place for a snack and drink . Lovely staff make you very welcome .we come her often as I bring a client here most weeks for activity’s .

Lovely clean, friendly environment. Staff and hospitality was brilliant. Yummy food including vegan breakfast option and alternative milk choices. Good portions- children's omelete, beans and potato smiley faces/hashbrowns will easily serve an adult for half the cost of the adults menu. Staff really made this a lovely family breakfast experience by going the extra mile to add extra syrup and chocolate to the children's pancakes and checking to see if food was okay. There is also a selection of toys for children to play with. A shame it was so empty as it is such a lovely little cafe with swimming pool and soft play in the centre also.

I came with my 19 month old toddler and my mum in law for breakfast. The food was very nice, we tried the vegan breakfast and the veggie breakfast. My little one loved playing with some toys and everything was spotless. The chef was very friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Our visit felt calm and peaceful and we loved the way the cafe is nestled within the heart of the community.

I arrived early morning whilst away working. Had a look at local places for breakfast in Gloucester and the Chamwell cafe came up with great reviews. Upon arrive it was in a nice area, the receptionist was welcoming and the cafe was very calm and quiet but relaxing. I went straight up to order as the menu was at the order station (they were on all tables too) and the chef was a really friendly guy. I ordered the smashed avacado with poached eggs and mushrooms and it was fantastic and really tasty. If I was in the area again I would definitely come back again for food, it was a nice relaxing morning and breakfast.

This being the first time visiting the Chamwell Centre, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the whole place is. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent value.

Decided to treat myself to some brunch so headed to the Chamwell Centre Cafe. At the time of my visit I was the only patron but having been before I know that the friendliness of the staff and great service were just the norm. Almost went for a full breakfast, but decided to branch out with poached eggs and smashed avocado with mushrooms, tomato and bacon. Really hit the spot! Anyone finding themselves hungry or thirsty and in the Longford area should really head to this great cafe.

I visit this place weekly to meet with a lady who have social anxiety. This was the first cafe she went to alone and continues to visit weekly if not twice weekly. I consider this as a relaxed, warm and welcoming space to use not only as a cafe but as a safe space for people who are vulnerable with anxiety. The staff really are welcoming, Becky in particular, is very open and approachable, is familiar with what you regularly order and really takes notice of her customers. Taking customer service to a higher level. Their food looks amazing and their coffee is spot on! Thanks Becky!

Genuinely the best eggs Benedict I've had in years. No real wait, and personally served by the friendly chef. Definitely recommend dropping by to enjoy the food 👍🏻

This is a hidden gem? My friend and I wanted somewhere to stop for a coffee on our walk so tried the cafe. We were amazed how big it was. Very spacious , bright and immaculately clean. The chef and lady serving are so helpful and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Our stop off for a coffee ended up being an amazing breakfast, cooked to perfection and worthy of a top restaurant. It was beautifully laid out and really tasty. Needless to say we have been back and intend to make it our stop off place. There is a varied menu to suit all which is great as I will be able to take the children there. Thank you both for making it such a lovely experience.

I regularly attend a Business meeting at the Chamwell Cafe and there is always a warm welcome. The food is excellent and the service is great. I’d highly recommend popping in and trying it for yourself. Look forward to coming back next week 👍

We’ve been using The Chamwell Cafe as a catch up base for a number of months now. The food is delicious (photo of full English attached), and the service is always super friendly and Ash is lovely and cheerful. A wonderful untapped facility in Longlevens. If you haven’t made a visit yet you really should! Site is sparkling clean and hand sanitiser readily available too.
