The best restaurants serving American food in South West

Meat eaters paradise. Steak seems to the dish of choice. Eight of us, all of us with different palates from rare to burnt. Absolutely no complaints from anyone about their dish. That plus great friendly service, what more could you want ?

Eddie’s Bar and Grill doesn’t exist any more. It has ceased trading. Hard to tell where is was, but maybe the shop is now a Gyros shop?

Me and my partner have ordered from here twice, the second time they didn't actually have any banana blossom left, they called to tell us after the order had been placed, the staff were so apologetic and friendly,happy to offer us alternatives even if it cost a little more. We will definitely be going back, has become our pay day treat.

Great restaurant. Six of us met up, having been for a walk at Slimbridge. Food was excellent and ample. We had the hake, lamb chump and fish & chips. All perfectly cooked. Our two waitresses were friendly, helpful, witty and professional. Decor was simple and tasteful. Would definitely come back. Note, we were a little unsure about the noise coming from the pool table area at the beginning, but this quietened down.

Beautifully situated on the waterfront, opposite Queen Anne's Battery Marina. Wonderful panoramic views in all directions and a hot spot if you catch the sun right. Outside decor and furniture's not all that and could do with an update but the food, wine and service is divine. I only had a starter and was pleasantly surprised - king prawns I chorizo and garlic cream based sauce, served with garlic buttered Ciabataa on the side, & a wedge of lemon. I also had a glass of Pinot Noir Della Venezie, sharp, crisp and delisch with the food.

What a great find! Most amazing burgers in the area, deserts were gorgeous! We will be back to enjoy the Sunday roast! Highly recommend

Not worth the money. we paid £30 for the mac and cheese, loaded fries, and mozzarella sticks. all of which had no flavour, except for the bbq sauce. the mac and cheese tasted as though it came from a can, no seasoning what so ever. the loaded fries contained fries and chicken, i had to pay extra for cheese (which i would expect cheese considering the portion is £11.50 already) only to open the box to no cheese. the mozzarella sticks were ok, probably frozen and no flavour again. if you’re coming to quint/newquay, i would say you’re better off going to The Quintrell Inn, and there food isn’t much better!

Spotted this cafe a week ago & decided to visit. Ordered a large breakfast & coffee. The eggs were cooked in a egg ring, which I'm not a fan of as it's not normal. Bacon was very thin & sausages were strange. Overall breakfast was OK.

Had 2 burgers me and my friend, cannot taste the Nduja mayo at all,no salad, no sliced tomatoes, burger bun was really chewy, disappointing wait and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody

We were staying at the nearby caravan site, and booked to eat here on our last night before returning home. A quiet Sunday night, but nothing was too much trouble for our host. While waiting for the meal, my wife became unwell, (nothing to do with the restaurant or meal) so we were unable to stay and enjoy our meal. Our host packed the freshly cooked meals in takeaway trays so we could have later. I ate my steak once back at the caravan and it was delicious. Sorry we had to rush off, but our host was perfect and the food excellent. Would certainly return if we were back in the area.

Went here on the Saturday night, on the recommendation of our B n B hosts. Very friendly greeting on arrival from the man behind the bar. chatted about all the usual things after being served our drinks. The club was fairly lively lately with a great mix of young and old to watch the live music and socialise. Not a hint of any trouble anywhere, lovely place to spend a Saturday night.

The coffee is great and the best prices around for the quality and size. The light bites were delicious, again very well priced for what you get. Would definitely recommend if you aren’t too fussed about coffee with a view or environment or brand name.

Had an "online" work social function where my employer paid for us to order in food. Decided to try these guys as I have driven past a few times and never been in, and ordered via UberEats. The food was honestly some of the best "burger restaurant" food I've had. I had the You Poker burger. The beef pattie was moist and tasty, the pulled pork was incredible and the sauce was outstanding. I was literally texting my mates as I ate it telling them about it. The cheesy chips were well seasoned, and the cheese was a proper layering of several types of "real cheese", not like the grated stuff you get in kebab shops. Lastly I had the braised beef chilli Mac and Cheese. The box felt like it weighed a kilo or more. The mac and cheese was great, the beef was amazing and the spicy sauce gave it a kick but not so much that it distracted from the flavours. Honestly, I would say it's worth every penny. Can't comment on the premises as I had it delivered, but will be ordering again without a doubt.
