The best restaurants serving American food in South West

Good service, great choice of burgers, and tasty food. There were surprisingly few people in on a Friday night with the exception of one very loud group. Overall, very poor comfort. Chairs were so uncomfortable, you'll either be sat on wooden; pews, benches or thin chairs and I couldn't even get my legs under the table as the table was too low.

Our neighbours recommended we come here as we are new to the area, they said they'd always had an amazing experience. All I can say is that it felt like it was children's night, all very young staff with clearly no one giving any direction, it was Wednesday so it wasn't busy but we waited a long time for someone to take our drinks order, then even longer to get them. Meanwhile there was clearly a lot of messing around going on in the kitchen, the language was terrible and we weren't close to the door and could hear it clearly. When our food arrived it was ok, I had to watch people on the other tables how to cook my steak as it hadn't been explained, my steak was nice. my wife had a burger, fries clearly had been double dipped, swimming in oil and in the burger was a measly bit of brown lettuce. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks or to see the dessert menu so we paid and left. We asked the person who we paid who was in charge and they pointed to a young girl who had spent most of the time we were there in the kitchen, or messing around with the other staff, she clearly needs more training. We might come back on a different night as I enjoyed my steak in the end. Over all we were very disappointed, clearly in need of some more mature staff as the kids are letting the place down.

So sad to hear this restaurant is closing! Our family has enjoyed many birthday celebrations here and we have always been looked after really well. On the last occasion, Matt went above and beyond and it really made for a wonderful evening. The RWY is a very special place with a great atmosphere, so it seemed a perfect place to have a Hubbox. It will be missed!!

I've got my car booked in at a local mechanic, he suggested here whilst I wait for my car to be finished. I had a BLT without the L, it was huge, i also had 2 nice cuppas during my visit. i would highly recommend, all this for under a tenner. lovely venue. lovely staff, very polite, very clean. I will return in the future, I prefer supporting an independant over a chain any day.

Dancing jug the food is fabulous, ss it is always busy on Sunday, you can forgive the 15min delay.food was tasty and piping hot on arrival. The 2 cans of pop ordered didn't arrive so just make sure you've got them before the delivery person leaves.

Best place to get a filled roll anywhere!!

Overnight stay, room up some very narrow twisty stairs. Medium size room,1 double bed and 1 single TV, coffee making facilities, hairdryer. Bathroom, shower over a bath, clean and tidy. Water temp in sh9wer fluctuated, possibly due to the water pressure, not able to inform anyone, as no one around when checking out.

Couldn't understand when entering why it was empty , in fact I thought they may have been closed as west bay was absolutely packed , the place is beautifully decorated and is in a great position in a packed car park and it was lunchtime 🤔, I would have loved an all day breakfast but like some other places they don't do them after 11 or 12 , always baffles me as I have been in catering for years , so had ham , egg and a few French fries for £13 no salad or peas .Sat and watched big queues of people waiting to buy fish and chips opposite should that not give the owners of cherries a bit of a clue as to what visitors to a seaside town might be looking for , hope it gets busier for them

Came here as a family of five, over three generations. Food was amazing and staff very friendly and accommodating all our requests. Will definitely be visiting again.

A wonderful lady with short hair served us and she was very patient and very friendly she is the reason I am giving 5 star hope Starbucks will hire more lovely people like her 😊

I have to say this was probably the worst £35 I have ever spent I read the 4 reviews and thought give it ago but turned up and only person in the restaurant should have been a red flag warning but had a ribs starter God knows which part of the animal it came from and then ordered sirloin and it was frying steak no mustard available except wholegrain I cannot explain how disappointed I was with the food paid the bill but only because it is clearly going bust

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.
