Came all the way down from Liverpool just to try this gaff and it didt disappoint Food is unbelievable Same with the place

Absolutely fantastic food, with staff that couldn’t do more to be helpful and friendly. The menu had loads of things on it that I had never tried before and each was more delicious than the last

Don’t let the location fool you, once you get upstairs you see a beautiful, big, clean space. Can see time and effort has been made to create the space! Food from Africa but also some English options for fussy people like myself! Pool tables and darts area and a private dining spot so easy to pop by with family too! Owner seems super friendly, had a chat wit him and seems he’s done most himself. Wishing you all the best! Will definitely be returning soon.

We ordered takeaway from what was a limited, but tasty looking menu. The food arrived quite a while after ordering, but only slightly late, just unfortunately a bit cold. The food was really flavoursome after a quick blast in the microwave and was delicious. There was also a slight issue with an item being forgotten, but they were lovely when I called and delivered double the amount very quickly without further charge. Overall well worth a try and we'll go back again to see how the menu develops.

This upstairs restaurant sports/bar was was laid out and equipped with several pool tables by the predecessor management a year and more ago. As will be seen from that listing it was eventually closed down because of the misbehaviour of several groups of young troublemakers. The new set up has nothing to do with the previous business but has benefitted from retaining the bar and tables. They have added the ambitious new American/ Caribbean (and vegan) menu with several tables along the walls. Although already launched they cannot yet serve diners or even let customers in to play pool and darts but there is an efficient delivery and click and collect system.Already it is not u usual to see folk eating collected meals in their vehicles in Colin Campbell car park outside the sports bar entrance. The stuffed sweet potato with curried chickpeas wasn’t bad at all.
