The food was so dry. The burger I managed to pick out the 1/4 chicken breast in a dry bun. We ordered Prosecco during our bottomless brunch. Wasn’t given it 10 mins before our time was up we was told no more drinks far from ideal towards the end.

When my daughter and her carers visited and she got left behind with no money or phone key and her team looked after her finding out her name and getting her home safely I can't thank kerry enough for keeping her safe and calming her down thank you again kind Regards N dugdale

Absolutely amazing time at the Dancing Jug ... The price was good, the service was amazing!! We went for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my friend birthday, they never let our drinks go empty, kept checking to make sure we were happy, the food was nice ... Highly recommended and I will be going again!!

Myself and friends enjoyed a fantastic bottomless brunch yesterday. The manager, Kerry, is fantastic & the staff were so friendly & welcoming, especially Phoenix, Mia & Rosie. I’m disabled & have to say the accessibility is outstanding. The amount of space I have with my scooter to move around the premises is the best in Bournemouth. Needless to say, this is my chosen venue for any night out 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We’ve been using the Dancing Jug in the Triangle for years. And have been to the Charminster one several times. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. But as with any bar, it’s so often the bar staff that make it. Last night (Thursday 25 July) we had the pleasure of meeting Carla and Ali in the Charminster Jug. Never met them before and we don’t know their friends/family. What I do know is that they are both amazing bar staff and credit should always be given where it is due. Kind, friendly, hard working and know how to look after their customers. Thank you Carla and Ali for making a good night a great one for Angie and I. P.S. Didn’t catch the DJ’s name, but he was brilliant too.

Great pub really friendly staff, lovely food and have nice seating area out the back with heaters. Highly recommend visiting.

Came on a Monday for a bottomless brunch and even though it was fairly quiet we had a wonderful time. Kerry was an absolutely star, being very attentive with our drinks and so friendly!! Would recommend to anyone considering doing a bottomless brunch in Bournemouth.

This is a great venue, staff are very polite & welcoming. My friend & I ate here for the first time & were impressed. The food was freshly cooked, all hot, and tasted delicious. Will definitely eat here again, or even just stop off for drinks. Its right in the centre of charmy & was clean & spacious too. Happy customers 😘

bar staff need to feel you welcome not just ask what you want drink then turn there back without saying thankyou after paying.plus they are outside smoking and then serving you a drink without washing never will visit this pub again..1\2 star if could.

6.15pm Went in with 3 family members and asked if they were still doing food, the waitress answered, 'yes, how long will you be'. We were stunned by this and went to sit down, before I could, another waitress came over and asked for our drink order, I said I would order at the bar. 2 minutes later she came back and asked again, and I again said I would order at the bar, and her reply was, ' a tut and sigh'. We left, end of.

Best place to go for bottomless and drinks in general. Great atmosphere with a DJ past 9, showing sports too. The service is the best in Bournemouth, the manager is such a bestie.

I've never done this before and I have to say I was very pleased with my dinner ut was very tasty and hot. Maybe a bit more veg but apart from that it was delicious 😋

Food was absolutely delicious and it has that fantastic atmosphere. Most staff were excellent. However, we had been for a bottomless brunch. There are set rules for a bottomless brunch. Ie how many jugs you can have at one time. I fully understand, but these rules are not made clear. May be worth mentioning this on the menus. Otherwise, half of your party may have to wait for the other half to finish their drinks before you can order again. There was one member of staff who was fairly rude, which did kind of spoil it. However all other members of staff were brilliant. I would visit again but perhaps not for a bottomless brunch x

Absolutely love this place. We are from London and every time we come back to Bournemouth we are here before anyone else. Apart from the atmosphere, I can definitely say both Ella and Becky are the beautiful golden girls. They are not just lovely but they are a true inspiration. I will definitely be coming back here soon

Absolutely joke worst one of the two local to me booked and went in with a friend for bottomless brunch was seated for half an hour no one took our drinks or food orders but yet staff were eating behind the bar chatting and ignoring customers when paying for 2.5 hours should expect service within that time ended up walking out went elsewhere walk in seated ordered n received food within half hour !

On time, Wrong drink, got a coke zero not a coke Burnt potatoes and yorkie. Broccoli only had stems not flowers, only got 2 slices of carrots. Cauliflower cheese where was the chesse just a sprinkle on it and half of a small pot for £2.95 And all round no flaver

Returned for a Sunday Roast for Mothers Day. Unfortunately the service was not as good as previously received. The usual manageress was not there. Sullen waitresses with distinct lack of warmth. Ordered roasts which included a drink. Two of the four drinks came with dirty lipstick glasses which we had to ask to be changed. Roasts were ok but certainly not to the standard of before. Gravy was very watery and had to ask for condiments ie mint sauce and horseradish sauce. Good value I suppose but nobody asked if our food was ok or if additional drinks were required. Shame as we have recommended this place to a lot of our friends and felt the service was lacking today. Didn't stay for additional drinks and went elsewhere. Come on guys a smile and a bit of warmth with your customers goes a long way. Toilets also looked shabby with broken toilet roll dispensers.

Me and my business partner came her for a business meeting a man called magna brought to a dirty table got angry when we asked him to clean the table. Took 45 minutes to bring bring us a bottle champagne and 2 beers slammed it on the table spilling it on my other half and was angry when I ask got a re fill and swore at my daughter

Been in a few times, to the Charminster bar. Staff friendly. My complaint is each time I have been in the men's loo has had no soap and no way of drying your hands. Complained each time but still the same. Not good for ant establishment yet alone a restaurant bar!

Went for a nice meal and, while the food was lovely, it was quite over priced for the area and it was very strange that the place was playing fake toilet noises as people were eating their food. Very noisy for a week day and the lights were quite a lot to handle. Not the best setting for a weekday but maybe better for a weekend evening out.

Perfect place for food an drinks with friends. Ollie and Molly treats the regulars with alot of respect along with new customers. Also a big shout out to Jack to always makes it a more enjoyable experience with a lot of laughs.

went for a bottomless brunch. Food is normally good but was shocking. Didn’t eat 3 meals. Complained and the service stopped. We were on a 2.5 hour brunch but as soon as we complained and refused to pay for the 3 brunches we didn’t eat / enjoy we were no longer served. Service and food was generally shocking. Would not go back.

Was severed by Rosie, arrived last minute on a busy Saturday afternoon, was sat down quickly dispute the volume of of customers are orders came quickly and the service from Rosie was second to none! She's massive asset to the team!

Fantastic Roast and no washing up. No custard with desert but we had a tin in the cupboard so no worries. Having our 3rd roast in as many weeks, I pretty much think tat speaks for itself. Mx

The waiter tried to convince us service charge is mandatory and we had to pay it to cover the cost the pub has to face to hire extra staff the during the weekend (it was a Thursday evening - we went there for the karaoke and pub quiz only but neither of these two took place - only 2 people were working - we only had 1 pint per person, ordered and collected from the bar counter)

Awesome place, first time visiting in a while. 2-4-1 cocktails were very tasty, and a decent price. - only down side was the frigid breeze that chilled the whole bar whenever anyone entered or left, but I appreciate that's a seasonal risk out of their control. Planning to go back and check out the food soon

Very disappointed with our food. All food cold. Ordered a plain bacon and cheese burger, put a comment in The instructions box to confirm plain burger, no sauce or salad. Burger arrived with sauce and salad. Contacted via just eat for Refund but it was declined. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering again

Came here for a bottomless brunch on a weekend. As we were a big group we were given jugs rather than individual cocktails, the food was overcooked and lots of our glasses were visibly dirty or stained. In terms of getting your drinks worth, definitely better than other brunches but wasn't anything fancy. Would rather spend an extra £5 and go somewhere nicer.

Had a roast lamb dinner on new year's eve which was nice but been today and had roast beef , it was absolutely lovely, everything cooked just right , look forward to my next one , lovely staff , especially michaela who communicate well with customers, excellent service all round , my partner had chicken burger and chips , presentation was also excellent on tht too, disappointed as can't upload my roast dinner here 😀

We were kept waiting a long time for on here. I ordered a vegetarian and vegan dog when my mail arrived. The dog was covered in tomato sauce, not in a separate dish. The coleslaw was just pushed under the chips and the chips were covered in salt. A really bad meal my friend asked for hunters chicken, but he didn’t want chips. He wanted a salad instead when the meal Arrived. The salad was simply lettuce nothing else when we complained they just brought us a tomato. Also we asked for no sauce but it arrived without any bacon or any cheese I know i’m believable and absolutely shocking Just a small piece of chicken and a plate of lettuce. When we complained we did get some bacon and cheese. I also got replacement chips but these were halfway through the meal. I did ask to speak to the manager but he wasn’t there One of the worst meals and worst value That I’ve ever had just remembered the vegan hotdog was overcooked as well. If you want a decent meal don’t go to the dancing jug.

Very disappointed! My wife went to the toilet. A male staff member walked in and told her to hurry up, thus making her uncomfortable. Because they had shut an hour early than what they had told us. Rude is an understatement, angry at least.

Having had the Sunday roasts before which are great we decided to try their burgers. Very disappointed, the chicken burger was tasteless & the southern fried chicken burger was tasteless and over cooked.

The first and last time I go to this place. The place itself is made nice and welcoming, but I didn't like the staff and the service at all. I was invited to a birthday party. My friend had made a prior arrangement with the manager to play her music, but they played 3 songs. She is a teacher in a dance troupe during the first performance she was interrupted to pay a bill for a table of 20 people and until the bill was settled the waitress demonstratively waited on the side .. Endlessly rude and tactless from the staff. We ordered 6/7 small dishes at 8:00 p.m., who came at 10:00 a.m. Good thing they didn't order more things. The girl had a professional photograv on the occasion, but there was nothing to photograph, unfortunately... The staff constantly showed with looks and gestures that they did not like us. And for me, one of the waitresses was dressed extremely unprofessionally. it's like he's going to the gym and not serving food. It's a shame the place is nice the food was good, but they just lost a lot of potential customers.

Bottomless brunch is great value. Loads of drinks to chose from and the staff can't do enough for you. Definitely recommend this place for larger parties.

Booked in for a birthday party, it took over 35 mins for staff to come tobour table,this was only after numerous occasions we asked for our order to be taken. We then waited another 20mins for the drinks to be brought to our table,but they did bring the prosecco!!! We then waited over an hour for our food which was done as a pre-order. Inbetween this,trying to order more drinks was a joke. I don't blame the staff as they were run if their feet,however i do blame the MANAGEMENT for overbooking as well as not having enough staff on that night. The Area Manager was on site,i don't know why as he done nothing but prance around doung nothing!!! He didn't take his outdoor ciat off,roll up his sleeves and help the staff,even if he only collected dirty glasses,that would gave helped the poor staff. He did hiwever go into the kitchen,still wearing his outdoor coat whilst chefs were preparing and cooking food,which is a big no-no in the food industry!!! Toilets were disgusting,smelly,water all over the floor,in all cubicles and the floor at sinks. No effort was made to recify the matter,which is a health and safety issue as someone could have slipped. They did however have a wet floor sign outside the doors,on assumption you woukd expect it to be dealt with. There was an engagement party booked in for 30ppl,which was prebooked 4 weeks prior,there was no place for them,they did get one of the smoking areas which was not cleaned ready for them. This was my 2nd visit as my 1st wasn't great,so decided to give them another go. I won't be returning.

Went in for friends birthday,had to wait for over 30mins before someone even came to our table,we had to approach staff on numerous occasions for service and was still waiting. Can't knock the food as it was lovely. They must have overbooked as staff were running about doing there best,so i don't blame them, however i do blame the management for the diabolical service. The Area Manager was prancing about doing nothing, not helping in shape or form but he did however go into the kitchen with his outdoor clothes whilst the chefs were preparing and cooking food,which is a big no no in the food industry. There was 30ppl booked in for an engagement party that had to be in one of the smoking areas as there was nowhere for them to go,considering that party was booked in 4 wks ago. Ladiws toilet disgusting and smelling with the floor wet and no effort to rectify except for a wet floor sign outside both gents and ladies doors, not specifying to which one it relates to. This is my 2nd visit,after the 1st wasn't great,so decided to give them another go. I definately won't be returning to this venue.

Been here three times for bottomless brunch. Drinks are OK, nothing to complain about. But the staff definitely need more training. It's evident each time we come in unfortunately.

The burgers were so overcooked and dry I couldn’t eat them along with stale buns one tiny tiny lettuce leaf and one tiny slice of tomato the salad I ordered was lovely but you can’t really mess up lettuce with sauce on unfortunately won’t be ordering again as I know your roasts are the best in Bournemouth if not England really disappointed

I ordered a the tofu bang bang dish. the textures were slightly strange and I found that it was too sweet. However the staff were really lovely and accommodating!
