Unfortunately took a very long time to get the food, when it did arrive it was cool not hot and chips were floury and dry. Certainly not a cheap meal out, I was hoping for a nicer experience, unfortunately I won't be returning as was not approached by the manager to rectify this and no apology.

Kasia was great, service was quick and she was so bubbly! Such a lovely waitress. Food was incredible as always! Defo recommend.

Onvriendelijk personeel. Eerst ruim 5 minuten laten wachten terwijl meerdere personeelsleden ons zagen staan. Uiteindelijk zelf een plek opgezocht in het restaurant, worden we nog het niet uitgekafferd. Hoe we het in onze hoofd haalden om te komen eten.

I have already put a complaint in but noone has replied !!!! The girl who served very pleasant but service was very slow , when the Fillet Migion I ordered from the lunch menu came and paid a extra £6.50 for the privilege I told the male server i didn’t think it was mine as i ordered the 5oz lunch special but it had 2 pieces on it , the steak was very tough even though 1 piece was very rare i asked for it medium the 2nd one was more medium but not pleasant, when the server came back i explained that and I left most of the steak , my husbands steak sandwich wasnt the best and his steak was over cooked from what he requested, there was no offer of anything , didnt push it as we were rushing to get our connection with service being slow , we were there 40 mins before a starter arrived and it wasn’t busy !!!!, We were really looking forward to visiting as we had been a gift card for my birthday fbut also paid another £ 40+ . not impressed , at this moment in time will not return

Very poor food cold chips M/W fillet steak very dry spare ribs very dry and not cooked enough we eat here every three weeks as a treat not anymore

The guy who gave us a table was an excellent guy. The lady who took our order was pleasant. After ordering our food, we waited an acceptable amount of time, however, when our food arrived it was without my wedge fries. After waiting several minutes I told my wife to eat her meal whilst I waited and waited. I called a waiter to ask where my fries were, to which he replied “they’ll be here shortly “ When I received them it was almost eight minutes after my main part of the meal. I informed the staff that it was unacceptable as my steak was now rather cool. My steak was excellent but the occasion was spoilt by the totally unprofessional service we received. I cannot believe that restaurants would be foolish enough to take on staff and not give them proper training. It does beg the question about the chefs at M & C who are supposedly trained to the highest standards, that they would even allow an order out before being completed. Very poor Miller & Carter.

Our waitress Kasia was perfect. Very friendly and attentive. She made us laugh a lot! The food was to die for. Absolutely lovely. Thank you for a lovely experience ❤️

We had a beautiful meal for a birthday celebration. Sylvester was a lovely waiter, very friendly and smiley. There was a large party next to us who were very loud and disruptive but this wasn’t the staff’s fault.

Cassandra that served us was very welcoming and bubbly. The food was good overall, sirloin was very fatty. Longer than usual waiting times to take the order but the food arrived quickly once the order was taken.

Been here twice on our visits to Bournemouth. The first time our meals were amazing. However, the second time our streaks were very over done which is a bit frustrating as it’s a steak restaurant! Nevertheless, the service was great and a third of our bill was deducted despite barely complaining! I LOVE ONION LOAFS 😭😍

I must say I was surprised how good this restaurant was. The welcome and service was friendly and efficient. Food was well cooked and delicious. I’ve not been before but I won’t hesitate to return.

Always a great atmosphere with the cosy lighting and furnishings. Food top notch as always with Miller and Carter. Had the Dirty Burger and ruddy dirty it was! Had to disassemble it due to the size but it was delicious and very filling. Table service was courteous and polite and we didn't have to wait long for our food to be served. Steak was overcooked. Scallops were black and burnt, over cooked. Onion loaf had oil running off the plate. No calamari. We normally go to the Poole miller and carter, but decided to visit for a change of scenery and we were extremely disappointed. I paid £105.90 for one of the worst meals. I love miller and cater but this branch is awful - will not be returning.

Not worth the hype or the money

myself and my family had a wonderful meal at miller and carter’s for my brother’s 16th birthday, with delicious large portions of food, excellent drinks and especially wonderful staff. our server cassandra was attentive and kind with a lovely disposition and checked on us frequently despite the restaurant being rather packed. so pleased with our visit and would absolutely recommend!!

Another excellent meal at this renowned establishment in the centre of Bournemouth. We were pushed for time as I was travelling ta evening, but our SUPERB waitress, Kasia, provided the highest level of service possible. Kasias' area was full, and she did not miss a beat at all. Every table was attended to with priority at exactly the correct time. The food was of the highest quality and standards and will return to this venue again on return to the UK. Everything!! We were in a rush as we had left it a little late to order our main course after appetisers as we were talking, I was travelling that evening, Kasia our watches was wonderful in arranging for our main courses to be expedited so we could enjoy our steaks. Kasia is THE consummate professional and an exceedingly good waitress. (I worked in the industry for 15 years and recognise good waitresses. This was exceptional and should be commended. Kasia is an asset to your team.)

Yes! Chateaubriand was fantastic. Lobster tail decent. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Bonus: I could actually tip for the pleasure of the experience and feel good about it! No service charge slapped on the bill! Has to be a five.

Extremely rude door host turned away for wearing smart shorts not beach attire in the summer I haven’t had this in other branches as I am a regular patron in miller and carter was no explanation just a sign waved in my face

Disappointing. Ordered cote de boeuf medium. An hour later it comes out well done. They suggest I order something quicker. Wait another 25 minutes for two sirloins. Better but not what I went there for. Could have gone to the pub for something just as good and cheaper. No apologies from manager or offer for a discount for our time and inconvenience. We smiled, left a tip for our server and left.

Just left our dinner feeling that Kasia would be most of the reason we would visit again! From start to finish, my partner and I agreed this was the best service we have received at ANY Miller and Carter in the UK. She was efficient, super helpful in providing me with recommendations, and kept checking in to make sure everything was okay. I wasn’t feeling too well and she made sure to turn the air con above us down to make sure we were comfortable. Despite it being towards the end of the day, she still went above and beyond. A memorable experience for sure. Service aside, the food was lovely. Tender and well cooked. I had a ribeye and my partner had the burger. The flavours of both were strong too. Very good value for money. I would specifically like to note how much we appreciated not being pressured into tipping (as some places do). We ended up tipping more than we usually would as a result, as it was a pleasurable experience from start to finish.

Waitress was lovely, not sure of her name, it sounded like je jay , dark long hair with curls. Very good at her job

Even tho' I arrive almost at closing time the waitress, Stephanie, was most helpful & extremely welcoming. She made a special effort to enquire from the chef if he would cook another steak. I was most pleased that thru' Stephanie's effort I enjoyed a fine fillet steak & vino dinner.
