We came for my birthday, both our first time coming! Kasia was absolutely amazing, she was so professional and helpful. My partners steak came overdone but she handled it amazingly and didn’t affect our experience at all. Thank you :)

Bolso was an absolute gem, made sure my well done steak was cooked to perfection - even though I'm sure the chef hated doing it!

We were booked in at 7:30pm, we arrive roughly 7:33 and our table wasn’t ready for us. The management were great and friendly with my young niece. We complained during our meal, as our side salad was served to us approximately 8:30pm and at 8:50pm we hadn’t received our meal. When querying this we were told by a waitress there was a delay at it would be another 22 minutes. This wasn’t acceptable, the salad had been sat on the table for 20 minutes already and was due to sit for a further 20 minutes. Not to mention my niece was falling asleep at this point after waiting almost an hour and a half for our meals. When we questioned this the manager came over to speak with us. His customer service skills were fantastic and he reassured us the meals were on the way and they were too eager in bringing out the salad (would this have been left sat on a kitchen side if it wasn’t bought out?) When our meals were served to us we had two waitresses, one was fantastic and attentive moving to the other side of the table to serve food, the other was rude. As I was speaking with my niece, she stood next to me and shouted ‘Well Done’ across the table, indicating a well done stake and almost shoved this in front of my dads face at the other side of the table for him to take. The stake was also not well done, it was red inside. My dad ate this after the long time we waited but wasn’t impressed. We had a discount added to the bill at the end due to our experience; however, we booked miller and carter due to the reputation of the restaurants and it being for a special occasion. We were let down and won’t be returning.

Everything was perfect lovely food, amazing steak , we had a lovely waiter Sylvester❤️, cozy environment the only thing that need to be changed or improved is the half lettuce salad American style which I didn’t eat and nobody in my table ate.

Mia was our server she was very attentive and helpful and offered a speedy service. One thing worth mentioning is my parents found it quite dark and difficult to read the menu but aside from that lovely meal and atmosphere

Had a lovely server called Kasandra who was kind and attentive. Was over an hour between arriving and being served the food but the staff were apologetic and it was not their fault. Sadly when the burger arrived it was luke warm but the pie was piping hot and delicious. Dessert was delicious too. Not the best food experience but the serving staff were great. :)

Very low lighting making it hard to read the menu.

Lovely steaks, lovely sauces, nice lobster tail, lovely clean ambience. Rubbish fries and overcooked scallops. Service was horrible, no costumer care, grumpy and surly attitude by a male waiter. Miller and Carter cannot be blamed for this to a certain extent but to put the cherry on top of the cake, the guy tries to charge for a glass of wine that we never had. Did not want to make a fuss, so left it to that, after a new bill was produced, although it certainly wasn't a honest mistake. Cost the other members of staff the same he tried to overcharge, £15. The steaks were of very good quality and cooked to perfection, a really enjoyable meal.

"Horrible Service Ruined Our Anniversary Dinner – Never Again!" Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I had high expectations when I booked a table at Miller & Carter for my wedding anniversary on 6/11/24, hoping for a special night. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but. We arrived at 8 PM and were left waiting at the entrance without so much as a greeting. Despite plenty of staff around, some of whom were just standing around chatting, no one bothered to acknowledge us. It was awkward and unprofessional. When I finally flagged down a server, she was rude, moody, and struggled to locate our reservation. Once she found it, she told us to go wait at the bar for our table. I politely insisted that we’d prefer to sit at our table and have our drinks there, but she walked away with an attitude before seating us. Once seated, things only got worse. No one came to take our drink order. We sat there on our anniversary, feeling neglected and watching staff members laughing and socializing while completely ignoring us. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, with plenty of empty tables, yet the service was nonexistent. Frustrated and disappointed, we left without even being noticed. Thankfully, we salvaged our night at a lovely Italian restaurant called Belagio in Winton, where we received excellent service and had an amazing time. Miller & Carter’s appalling service and lack of professionalism nearly ruined our night. We will never step foot in this restaurant again. What a joke!

Had a lovely lunch with my best friend. Was not the first time I ate in Miller & Carter Bournemouth, but everything is perfect. Andrea was our waitress, she is always lovely and always makes sure everything is perfect, so thank you for making extra special my lunch with my friend. Will definitely come back as I always do.

Friendly welcome on entry, seated comfortably in restaurant. Quickly asked if we wanted water for the table. Afterwards our orders for drinks and food were taken by a friendly waitress. Food was very good, helpings generous. Overall a very pleasant experience. Recommended.

Exceptional Service from Kasandra During our visit to miller and carter steakhouse, we had the pleasure of being served by Kasandra, who not only provided impeccable service but also made our experience much more enjoyable. Despite being in an English-speaking country, we were pleasantly surprised when Kasandra spoke Spanish with us, which made us feel much more comfortable and well taken care of and considering we were a group of 8, in which only 2 spoke English. Kasandra was always patient and attentive, answering all our questions with a smile and explaining the menu in detail. Her knowledge of the place and willingness to assist us were key to making our meal even more enjoyable. She not only provided excellent service but also ensured that every detail was taken care of, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. In summary, Kasandra was an exceptional host who made our experience truly unique. We highly recommend this place, and especially Kasandra, for her kindness and dedication!

The ambiance here is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. Kasia, one of the waitstaff, was incredibly warm and attentive, making each visit memorable. I’ve dined here four times, and each experience has been wonderful. Highly recommend this place for a great dinner experience!

Unfortunately took a very long time to get the food, when it did arrive it was cool not hot and chips were floury and dry. Certainly not a cheap meal out, I was hoping for a nicer experience, unfortunately I won't be returning as was not approached by the manager to rectify this and no apology.

Been to Millar and carter on quite a few occasions and alway had a lovely meal, unfortunately on this occasion was not the case at Bournemouth branch, the food was cool not nice and warm and the chunky chips floury and dry. Did mention it to the lovely waitress and thought maybe the manager might have approached us however not the case, not asked if qe wanted a replacement as I said we were just going to eat it as really didn't want it rewarded as it took so long in the first place to arrive... Just a shame as this was a treat for our guest as well as us. Very disappointed as not cheap.

From start to finish it was a lovely visit. We didn't have to wait for anything but also we were not pestered in any way. Relaxed but prompt. The staff were lovely and our waiter was excellent. Food was perfect and cooked to exactly what we requested. Venue was lovely, relaxed lighting and a cozy but classy feel. Will definitely recommend to both family and friends and will be returning.

Lovely food as always but it's very dark inside, some of the lights above the tables were broken and the service was really quite slow. Would be 5 stars if the service was a little faster.
