Cafe Boscanova in Bournemouth

This was our first time here, we both went for the specials. The food was so good. I can highly recommend the sticky peanut and tofu wrap and the peanut butter blondie, absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful breakfast had to come back the next day! This cafe had a lovely variety for meat eaters, vegans and gluten free. Great prices, amazing food and an all around cute place to be. Staff are all so friendly and welcoming and help you find a seat once you enter. You can have food/drinks to eat in or take away and the service is fast too. Perfect vegan/gluten free find when you’re staying in bournemouth❤️

Yes! Vegan breakfast was lovely, would definitely eat and drink here again. Staff friendly and a nice buzz, quirky decor.

Here's a top tip: When a customer is placing a takeout order and it takes double the time specified perhaps don't leave the coffee sitting around and being lukewarm! Also, getting the cutlery is right is quite important, apparently there is something called a knife and it goes with a fork!

Great food, stingy on portion, only 1 slice of toast on an order of avocado on toast. With the fry up its 2 slices of thin streaky bacon. So I ordered extra bacon, so 5er for bacon alone, bumpz up price of a brekky (small) to near on 15quid. I saw a review say best coffee they had in the UK! Well, the coffee is slightly better than costa and I can honestly say there's better coffee for sale within a 2 min walk from there. I'm not trying to badmouth bn, but I will say it's a Shoreditch wannabe, hipster centric, drinking out of jam jar vibes and it's massively overpriced. 4:50 for a tomato juice cos they whack a bit of celery init. All that being said I'll still go there, so im part of the problem!

One of my favourite Cafès in Bournemouth, if you're lucky enough to get a table, it's definitely worth the wait. Freshly cooked healthy breakfasts, served with a friendly smile. What's not to love?

Do not bother. Waited 45 minutes for a table then a further 40 minutes for food. It wasn't even worth the wait. Wish we'd gone elsewhere.

My favourite cafe in the area! We’ve been here several times now, and the staff are always friendly, the food is always top notch, and it’s got a lovely informal, funky vibe. Please open another one on Southbourne Grove!

Nice welcoming staff and good food

Very welcoming and good food. Not a lot of options on the menu and a big emphasis on veganism which I do not approve of. Very loyal customers though. The call back system for a table works well.

Really, great quality food and impressively efficient, friendly service. I arrived at peak brunch time on a Saturday, and it was full. The woman on the door took my phone number and called me when a table was ready, which worked really well. Once I was seated, there were multiple people offering to take my order at regular intervals. I really liked that because often, as a solo diner, I get forgotten, or if I'm not ready to order straight away, I have to wait for ages for someone to come back. I ordered the avo toast with a poached egg and sausage. Even though the place was packed, it turned up quickly, was nicely presented and and very tasty. Overall, this is a fantastic place that I will definitely go to again in the future. There's a reason why this place is busy, and it's well worth the wait.

OMG - this is my favourite cafe. The food is always exceptional, staff are friendly, helpful and makes sure you have what you want. We are regulars here in the weekend and the vibe is awesome. Very clean healthy food.

Went there for a breakfast. It was probably one of the best english breakfast we have had in a very long time. Big portions, with a proper sourdough bread and fresh ingredients. Also, great coffee too and very charming place 😊

Always good, always very friendly staff, food always tasty and the coffee great. If you’ve never been you should! It’s a little different, a little funky, a little different but awesome!! In fact, don’t go! I don’t want it to be so busy I can’t get a table 😂😂

Best vegetarian English breakfast in Bournemouth!

Really disappointed been here a few years ago and was great so wanted to take family for breakfast/brunch but saw online on their website no bookings. Arrived and it was fairly quiet clearly about 3 free tables and a big group just left. We're told we couldn't have any of the free tables but could call us in 30 minutes. Very odd and didn't make sense. Maybe it was personal and we didn't look right or something?! I wouldn't visit again on this basis a real shame.

Came for a coffee an hour before closing time and was barked at the moment I got in there by the lady ‘you taking away’? As we tried to enjoy our coffees once sat, she kept staring at us and we became uncomfortable and were made to feel unwelcome and she just wanted us out so she could get out.

The best breakfast we've found around Bournemouth, I can see why there's often a queue for a table. So worth it though! The service was lovely and attentive, and the food super fresh. We're looking forward to bringing friends here when they visit next week.

I’ve been to Boscanova so many times, and every single time the food is a 10/10 The cafe is super chilled in terms of the environment, but the food is faultless. The quality is amazing, portion sizes great, and it always comes out super hot. We’re really harsh critics of breakfasts, and there aren’t many food places in Bournemouth! A must visit if you want to not be disappointed 😄

Food was lovely. Service was really rude and disappointing. After we had finished our food (but still had drinks left) we we asked if we’d like the bill or to order more. We didn’t want to do either. We were then asked 5 minutes later if we were ordering more items which we declined. Then, 5 minutes later again we were asked if we’d like the bill. It was obvious we were being pushed out as the waitress was standing over us with the card reader in hand. I’m get it’s a popular spot, but being pressured to leave is incredibly rude.

I love the food here they welcoming to family and have warm greeting staff, and they get your food to hot and fast even when they are busy

Lovely quirky little place ! Had a lovely coffee and delicious breakfast. The place was really busy and i felt bad taking up a table for 4 when there was only me, however the staff were super friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed. I will definitely return x

NOT a very long OOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKK with attitude and confusion in your voice... Your attitude today was unacceptable. If customer service is not your thing then may I suggest you get a different job.

Very tasty breakfast, very good coffee, very nice service. And most importantly, the place is open from 8 a.m., which gives it an advantage over other places. I will definitely go back there for another meal.

Great service. Very friendly staff that tried to look after our needs despite being a busy day (weekend). The pancakes were delicious, although I'd rather have my coffee bit hot and on time with the food. Overall, it was a good experience. Will visit again soon.

I had a vegan breakfast.. which I would go back to eat again.. and again... decent size, fresh , and delishous... the staff were all really nice and attentive.. and I loved that they used no fake meat substitutes.. I'm not knocking them, it was just a nice change... well done

Hospitality at this establishment was excellent the food however was very disappointing and over priced… We had researched best breakfasts in Bournemouth as we were visiting for the weekend and found this restaurant. To be fair the photos we had seen of the food looked really good. However, when our plates of the meat breakfast option arrived we weren’t very impressed. The hash brown was like mash potato in the middle of the plate - if you like hash browns as your favourite part of a fry up you’d be bitterly disappointed. The sausage was pretty tasteless… the extras were extortionate. For example black pudding - £3.50! The coffee is served in big heavy mugs. Not nice for something like a cappuccino… I would try somewhere else if I were to ever visit Bournemouth again…

Going to be bold and say it's probably the best coffee I've had in the UK. I'm Australian and a coffee snob :P it's really very good! The staff are always lovely

Great choices especially for vegetarians, portions sizes are great, food is really tasty. Would definitely recommend the vegetarian breakfast (apart from the potatoes), friends had the meat version which looked great as did the baguettes. Juices were delicious and coffee spot in. Only downside is the wait for tables but that shows how popular it is.

Great coffee and delicious brownie

We visited here twice on our weekend stay.. 1st we had breakfast and pancakes! Absolutely amazing (more nuttella maybe but I'm greedy) coffee is amazing. 2nd visit 2 breakfasts and I swear it was so yummy. The service was great. Such lovely women working there! Gave us a recommendation to go to a beach where she grew up and we enjoyed our last day there! Will 100% be coming back again!

Crass and argumentative attitude from gingerish owner trying to justify poor coffee and price increases direct to customers. Bad attitude and all about money. Soggy rocket on minature thinly cut so called burnt toast. £4 for toast! Unhygienic and greed. Simply. Avoid and go to nicer coffee shops with value for money food and hygiene. I came here for a cooked breakfast based on the good reviews. I ordered the Meat East Side with an addition of black pudding and an Americano coffee. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The ingredients were all very good quality.

I recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast at this coffee shop, and the pancakes were a highlight! They were fluffy and cooked to perfection, served with blueberries.I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had the perfect cup of coffee. The atmosphere was cozy, I'll definitely be returning for more!

I only had coffee, which was very good. Anyway, nice place, you can sit inside or outside, friendly staff, quick service. Food on other customers plates looked delicious. Parking available in the Sovereign Shopping Centre.

Sorry not impressed...we ordered pancakes with bacon, maple syrup, banana...everything was an extra charge. Huge fat undercooked soggy pancakes, practically inedible, the tiniest dribble of syrup for £2.50, 2 tiny strips of bacon etc etc. Don't mind paying if food is good but it really wasn't. Coffee was OK, had better elsewhere. Nice vibe in the place, friendly staff, great outside seating - but won't be rushing back here.

The best buttermilk pancakes I’ve ever had! Have tried so many spots and this place they was beautiful and fluffy with the maple butter! Really recommend the banana Witt maple syrup and Nutella! We had the veggie breakfast which where great everything was cooked fresh with great quality and taste of everything. The only thing I would liked would liked to seen a veggie sausage on the menu! The coffee was exceptional with great friendly service from all staff. The place serves brunch all day just expect to wait on busy periods. They take your name and number and will call you once a table is available. There large pay display on hawkwood road which is around 2 min walk to the cafe.

Vanmiddag hier even een koffietje gedronken. Het was regenachtig weer. Het was niet druk binnen. Ik weet eigenlijk niet of ze bedienen. Ik ben meteen naar de bar gelopen en heb een koffie besteld. Geen poespas gewoon een regular black Americano. Wat een flinke bak, goed heet en goed van smaak. Sfeervolle zaken. Komen veel lokalen, erg gezellig. Aanrader.

Popped in here this morning Having read reviews on Google. Very pleased with the presentation and taste of my avocado on toast breakfast as well as the friendly and helpful staff. I also bought a great reusable coffee cup (Huskee) made out of recycled coffee husk. Suggest checking this place out!

I absolutely loved the English breakfast; it was superb 🤤 I also got a latte with oat milk and their coffee is very delicious too!!! I sat outside and the vibes were very nice for people watching and enjoying the summer breeze. The staff were lovely as well. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re stopping by Boscombe/ Bournemouth :)

A local had told me about this place. Iam not from the area and was cycling though so stopped for breakfast. They serve Bad Hand coffee ☕ which is excellent and I get on mail order. Several incentive menu offerings served with a smile. Food was excellent and would go again

We are regulars! The service is exceptional, the coffee delightful, and the food delicious. A slight improvement in the maple syrup portion and the extra charge policy would make it even more satisfying.

Absolutely loved this place! We were there this morning and augh so good! Staff 10/10 so nice friendly and accommodating My Food was perfect! One gripe a friend had was that their strawberrys tasted like they'd been Left in the same fridge as the onions.. They have a fantastic range of food that makes most "English breakfast" cafés looks dull Loved it and would definitely go back (Ps the guy below me saying that they were over priced.. it's your fault for ordering like 15 extras) EDIT: 2 YEARS LATER, Still amazing!

Ok so nice friendly staff. Cant fault the service The breakfast is ridiculously over priced. You could go out for an eve meal and get a main course cheaper than what I paid for my bfast and coffee which was £20. With that in mind I dont think its unreasonable to put two x eggs on the breakfast to take the sting away a little. I would love to frequent here more often but £40 for 2 x breakfasts with a friend is just not realistic for the majority of people in this day and age. So sadly probably won't go again
