Penn Court Cafe and Bistro in East Dorset

Came across this cafe by sheer luck. And we were not disappointed at all. We both had breakfast, which were lively and great value. And all the meals that were served looked very good. The staff were lovely as well. Will definitely be going back again.

Have been visiting this cafe for a long time now and at least once a week. Always get a very warm welcome and the food is tasty and well cooked, always a pleasure to visit. Well done to all the staff.

Absolutely great experience every time I visit!! A Friendly place that is priced very reasonably with great quality food!! It’s virtually always busy and that tells you all you need to know!! My go to for breakfast is the early bird deal!! They deserve the success they seem to be having!! Highly recommended

We love to go out for a breakfast treat, and have visited quite few different places in and around Bournemouth. This little cafe is a golden gem in West Moors (north of Bournemouth). It is popular with the local workers - reasonable prices, excellent service and scrumptious food. We all enjoyed the pancakes with egg, bacon, sausage and of course, runny syrup. Washed down with cuppachinos and Earl Grey tea. Thank you Penn Court, We'll see you again VERY soon. :-)

A wonderful, warm and friendly cafe, with a lovely atmosphere. I can honestly say we have never been disappointed. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, with a large special's board. Keep doing what you’re doing Penn Court Cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always a pleasure to go here, food is perfect, staff are kind and very friendly. I really don't get the bad reviews left 🤔 I come here a lot, and the staff are always so friendly even when children are not being supervised correctly. Ignore the low ratings, look at the rest, and try this place out yourself, you won't be disappointed 👍 All inclusive breakfast, or Maxi breakfasts are always great and they even cater for dogs, with scrambled eggs in a bowl 👌 Not been open over the new year, so just googling to see when they reopen.... Had to leave a review on here, after seeing the two bad reviews because I feel they are totally undeserved.

Great little cafe in West Moors. Great service, well cooked food and lots of choice. Not too badly priced. Always busy but they will always find you a table.

Really bad experience when i took my 14 month old twins. Felt like they were rushing us to make an order. I was trying to sort my banking out before i made an order to make sure i had enough. Whilst i was doing so i got my twins a glass of water to share ( i had to ask for straws so they could have a drink as they didnt have baby cups) my twins were also waving the menus aboyt and babbling away whilst accidentally dropping the menus. The waiter got rude with me and the person i was with saying my twins were misbehaving and it shouldnt be allowed and we had to leave. If they had been a bit more patient i was going to order but after how rude the staff had been me and the person i was with decided to leave. A customer even had to come to our defence and offered to buy me and my guest a drink however we kindly declined his offer due to being made to feel unwelcome in the cafe. And decided to go to Buds and Beans florist cafe up the road were we happily gave our order without being rushed and staff were more than happy to wait whilst i sorted out my banking before placing an order

Had a family breakfast here on Sunday, and couldn't fault it. It was busy, but the service was very good, and the freshly cooked food, which obviously took a little while, was excellent, and very good value too.

I come here every Sunday for a breakfast and the food is always superb and good value for money! Highly recommend! Top marks

Never disappointed... Staff always polite & so helpful - nothing too much trouble. The food is always delicious - simply scrumptious. Yes there may be a little wait but when the food is cooked fresh to order you would expect nothing less. Pricing very fair & generous portions... 10/10...

We have been here quite a few time now since living in West Moors. They do a great breakfast and we have never had a bad meal. Great food, friendly service and extremely clean

What a find! After a long through the night drive down from the north of England this little cafe really was a diamond find! Excellent value for money and superb customer service! I’m only making it public as I won’t be down that way often otherwise I’d keep a little place like this a secret! Very clean environment, service was excellent only minor moan the restaurant was chilly, winter times need the heating on. Super little place, well down guys excellent

Came to Penn Court Cafe Saturday morning with 7 others and had a fantastic breakfast, every plate was wiped clean, great service very clean with happy staff. Walked away having paid fare less than expected. Thank you all.

Love this cafe! Really nice people, very clean and the food is scrumptious. We go regularly. Have to say the person who wrote an earlier poor review must have been to a different cafe. It has no relationship to Penn Court Cafe. They should delete it.

I visited Penny café on Tuesday for lunch with my Mother In Law and had a special of the day, which was a bacon bap and a coffee for £3.99. it was quiet in there as it was 1.40pm and the staff was very helpful in helping me out. We sat down at a blue table and I waited a few minutes for my meal, but my Mother In Law's took ten minutes to arrives which was no problem. it tasted delicious and we would be going again soon. I use to visit this café in the early to mid 1990's and thought it had closed, however, it did and reopened again. I found it rather bright in here with the sun shining through the window, but we found a table which was in the shade and near the door for fresh air coming into the café.

Absolutely brilliant clean spotless even cleaning the doorway in typical. Turkish owned 👍 it’s a Brittish Breakfast and best. And great hospitality

I have become a very happy regular here (one of many). Food is always freshly cooked and of excellent quality and size though if you are in a hurry this might not be the place for you as this comes with a necessary wait. Despite other comments made in other reviews I disagree that their pricing is a little high and have always considered them very good value for money. Breakfasts are varied, fresh, tasty and adaptable (as is all of their menu). Lunches and dinners are likewise varied and of excellent quality and size.....at least for me. Large selection of beverages available and unlike many places the hot ones are exactly that......hot! My grandkids love the smoothies and chocolate cake.....of course. Very friendly and accommodating owners / hosts / staff (I dislike the word staff here.....these people are your friendly hosts in every meaning of the word). There is free Wi-fi in house which is great for displaying Peppa Pig to the grandkids while you are waiting (No.....I'm not kidding). Highly recommended.

This cafe gets 5 stars mainly because the couple who run it are absolutely lovely, they both can’t do enough for you, and are two of the happiest cafe owners I’ve ever come across. We went in for breakfast the morning after our wedding on the advice of our friends 10 year old son who uses the cafe all the time. I’m so glad we listened. There’s a huge menu, Something for everyone. The food is really well cooked, and not just dumped in a deep fat fryer. Average prices, but we left a good tip on top because of the great service.The cafe is clean, inviting, has parking out front, fast service, and great staff. I can see me using the Penn court cafe a lot now we’ve found it.

I can’t rate this cafe highly enough. I come here from Salisbury every Sunday to meet up with friends and if I can squeeze in another visit during the week even better. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across in a long time. They always help willingly if we need to put tables together (sometimes there’s quite a few of us) and nothing is too much trouble. Great value, freshly cooked food and a good menu. I can’t go more than a week without a halloumi and tomato panini. They also have a loyalty card for hot drinks so you can earn a free one when your card has enough stamps. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s a little gem.

Was very happy to get their early breakfast deal, full english with toast and hot drink for £5.50. Very nice service and freshly cooked. What’s not to like?!

The Boss of the Cafe serve to my gf an absolute disgusting cake full of mold. All the other sandwitches had a very weird taste like they were expired long time ago. This guy who did not want to tell his name, was very rude and his attitude was under any criticism. In my opinion i think all the food there is expired. And she had to pay for that!!! So be very very carreful when you choose this Cafe!!!!

Fantastic little cafe. We have only used it for breakfast but what a find. The good is allways well cooked and piping hot and the staff are polite and friendly. Will defiantly use again next time we are in this area

We usually just have coffee and a snack which are both very nice. The food looks good and there is a wide selection at reasonable prices. Would recommend trying a breakfast. The staff are very helpful and the place is clean.

Después de viajar de Liverpool que necesitamos una alimentación, coche ronda buscando un lugar y todos los pubs locales todavía estaban cerradas a las 8 de la mañana, entonces Corte penn brilló como un faro, muy, muy limpio, pedimos 2 todo el día, desayunos eran enormes! Perfectamente preparado, agradable y caliente, y el personal era amable y agradable, todo el excelente visita!

Hemos estado en este café 3 veces y cada vez que hemos disfrutamos de nuestra visita.

La tortilla y la ensalada te llena, sabroso, no demasiado grasiento, gran variedad. De hecho, hay varias alternativas a nivel de inglés que hace de este lugar un lujo cuando estemos en la zona.

Excelente relación calidad-precio y agradable servicio desayunos - también te dan unos 8 rondas de tostadas para ir con su comida. Si vives en West Moors me gustaría conocer este lugar.

Cuando visitamos el café estaba ocupado con lo que parecía ser un grupo local de Ramble. Pedimos bebidas, pero la comida que vimos estaba bien presentado, la interacción personal con los clientes y el servicio era rápido y eficiente.

Hemos estado un par de veces. Tenía los desayunos, un montón de opciones, con algunos una taza de té está incluido. Está abierto los domingos. A un precio razonable. Que parecen ser gente agradable que dueños/run.

Agradable cafetería tranquila, buen café, no probamos la selección de pasteles aunque parecía bueno. La decoración está un poco cansado
