Taking orders online and taking payment but business appears to be shut down

For the last year we have been coming to JoyWok, bit of a journey because we live in Dorchester, the food is tasty, but please check your orders before leaving.. the last 2 time we have had Chinese from there our orders are not complete, previously a £50 order, our order was missing the sweet and sour sauce that came with the chicken balls, and last night 03/04/25 we had a birthday treat for my son ordered £70 worth of food because there was a large group of us, and the seaweed was missing,

Use to go here 15 years ago and the staff was so rude and the food went downhill. Now under new management, lovely clean open kitchen and food was amazing. Will be back for sure. Food was hottest I ever got a Chinese home, sign of a good chef. Highly recommended

I usually pop into the Weymouth store for a coffee often and always have a wonderful service. Today I was served by Hailey who supported me with an emergency situation and made sure I was safe and supported. Absolutely wonderful and exceptional service as always! thank you again!

This is my first time going into this pub and we ordered a black coffee and cappuccino and when we got them they were half filled we paid lot for the drink I don’t appreciate being half filled the amount the price are ….

Food was really nice, but delivery estimate was already quite long before it turned up nearly 20 minutes after the advertised time. I tried calling the restaurant to chase our order, but the phone wasn’t answered.

I've heard nearly every day on the radio advertising a 20 piece hot wing bucket for only £7:99 I'm on call so thought I'd go try one, asking the staff for the bargain bucket they didn't have a clue what i was on about left empty handed 😳 But they did try to sell me a smaller bucket for more of the price. While I'm sat in my van I noticed the advertisement outside. Not the first time I've experienced service like this here, will I be returning doubtful.

Really disappointing visit. Given how unbusy it was don't order food at the bar, then wait, then after 30 minutes - are you interested in food? Yes - well that will be a 45 minute wait!? What!??? Another 45 minutes. I mean the weather was nice, the drinking the same as everywhere else but they clearly don't really want you to visit and certainly not eat food. I had actually looked forward to coming here, but actually it's not worth it. Find another place.

Not that great between not having a few things on the menu to taking ages to be served then getting food served from someone from the kitchen with the dirtiest apron we've ever seen

Great carvery. Top quality food and perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and a clean, modern,spacious and unpretentious setting. Highly recommended.

This used to be the best fish and chip shop in Weymouth, but now since the people next door took over from the Chinese takeaway it's now definitely the worst. They use the same batter that you'd get on chicken balls which is a bit weird on the fish and sausages. Such a shame as it was our go to place for years.

Went 3 times whilst we visited Weymouth. Food and desserts were beautiful. Staff were friendly.

Atmosphere and hospitality was so sweet. I got the vegetable chow mein and curry sauce (came with prawn crackers) , big portions and came up to £8 overall. Worth the price!

Nice location down by the quay. Food was good. Everyone was relaxing and the vibe was chilled, until this waitress came out shouting and trying to get people to do a Mexican wave. She kept coming out shouting random stuff, you could see everyone was not happy and a few tables left, we also left in the end. This is a message to the management that she is not good for your trade and the atmosphere you are aiming for.
