Food wasn’t great, far too many chips.

I was very pleased the food arrived earlier than stated but the chicken pieces were really dry to eat and the fillet burger tasted awful, like it had been reheated or just sat in a hot cabinet, it's the second time I've ordered, the first time the food was lovely, sadly this time it was awful 😞

There was an off-putting smell to the chicken. It possibly was old used fat or cooked in the same fat as the pri piri chicken. I didn't expect it to have the number of herbs as in KFC but it lacked flavour. It was very greasy so I was disappointed. On the positive side it was really hot and the chips were better than KFC. Delivery was also good. I hoped for better.

I ordered 2 box meals. Both the same; 2 pieces chicken, chips and can of drink. The first disappointment was the size of the chicken pieces; very small especially in one of the boxes. There were plenty of chips, presumably to fill the space where the chicken should have been. Delivery estimate was 40-55 minutes but it arrived in only 11 minutes, the drive would have taken at least 5 minutes so I can only assume this food was not cooked fresh. Very dissatisfied with the whole experience.

Really disappointed. Have used rays chicken regularly but tonight was rubbish. Phoned for delivery at 2050, finally delivered at 2230 after being chased. The chicken consisted of one nice breast chicken, the rest was chicken wings no meat on them. Chips good and as an apology for their obvious mistake we were given a box of coleslaw. Come on Ray what is going on, buck your ideas up....not good enough

Save yourself a disappointment and go to KFC instead. £11.50 spent for a chicken Naga wrap and chips and both dry, and not tasty. One poor slice of lettuce and marinated chicken in the tortilla wrap. Dry. Meal not wort nearly £12 quid. Returned! Will never come back!

Everything was tasty that I'd normally buy, but I pushed the boat out and got a sweet chilli wrap this time and sadly didn't enjoy It, there was too much garlic for my liking.

2 day old chicken wings re heated. Not spicy at all. SO DRY! Piri Piri wings again days old, dry and re heated. Such a shame. It used to be really nice.

Great food delivered with a smile

Food can usually be a bit hit or miss. Ordered food for collection. Was told it was ready to collect but on arrival had to wait 10 more minutes for the food. Understandable due to the Bank Holiday, but then please don’t say it’s ready to collect, if not. Food was fresh, crispy and yum. Was one of the few times our chicken was moist and juicy, instead of dry.

Good delivery service. Arrived within 5mins of requested time. Fries were great & nicely salted. Cheeseburger was pretty good but would’ve preferred a little less mayo and a little more salad. Hot wings were nice but could’ve been spicier. Overall pretty pleased.

usually really good but chicken burghur was inedible, really dry and hard as where the mini fillets .

Mini fillets were so dry and hard seemed like they had been sat there for a while.gave us a couple extra but they were so small😐only good thing was the fries… and the chicken burger was just dry and tuff was not good

Popped in with my girlfriend and we ate a small meal of 2pcs, fries, beverage. I had the 3 strips, fries and beverage. We ate this while we waited for the wraps to be prepared. The chicken was far tastier here than in KFC and the fries were piping hot, crunchy, tasty and made to order. When we got our wraps (large naga + large sizzler, both no mayo) we were pleasently surprised by how big and packed with meat they were. The naga wrap was our favorite... But I'd like to see a hotter version available - We had to add some sliced scotch bonnet peppers. I'm looking forward to another large naga wrap without mayo again soon!!

Rays Chicken is the best chicken shop in town. Classic fried chicken and chips, you can’t go wrong! Far superior to the KFC up the road in my opinion. Bigger, tastier portions. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

First time I ordered, the house made sauce was nice, the hot food wasn’t too hot unfortunately and the chips a bit soggy instead of crispy. Overall it was okay.

Ray’s chicken used to be the best ever. The recipe has completely changed and it’s like a duff KFC. Tonight it was no better than a load of rubbish! Sloppy, soggy skin, pink undercooked meat. Such a disappointment to receive such crap from what used to be one of the best. Bring back the crunchy chicken!!!

This was the second weekend in a row we had items missing from our order, so not very happy as had to order again so had to pay two delivery fees on both days

The chicken use to be very nice with a thick crunchy coating but out last few orders including today there is hardly any coating and the little that is on there is very greasy along with the chicken meat.

Lovely fried chicken, always juicy and fresh but the highlight for me is their Naga dishes. Naga wrap and house special Chicken Lal Mirch are absolutely delicious. Always arrived quickly too. A hidden gem in Weymouth.

Food arrived late and cold, which was disappointing as ordered over 2 hours in advance, also as it was cold the chicken was very greasy and so extremely salty, sadly complete waste of money, 1st time order and the last, ended up in the bin, waste of money im afraid, I am sad to say will not be recommending

Food all tasted excellent and was delivered nice and hot. Restaurant called me to let me know they couldn’t fulfil the whole order but we agreed to substitute one item which they did. I dropped one star off the quality rating because the wings were very small.

The chips were not hot and tasted like reheated from lunch chips. The chicken was tasty and hot wings lacked hot coke was lovely chilled.

Hot, tasty, good amount of filling and reasonably priced which makes a nice change from other places who scrimp on toppings/fillings and charge so much. Would definitely recommend, as a great place to order from! Thank you very much!

Ew! If you like smelly fish and the taste of it then enjoy your fish tasting “chicken” with gone off lettuce! I am not usually picky but wow the chicken was over cooked or gone off or something and was so fishy I’ve had to get new food because I couldn’t eat any more without feeling sick!

Had 3 day break just up the road from rays, got chicken meal box from Ray's, spent 2 days on toilet, completely ruined holiday, stomach was in agony, please dont use for your own safety, dont even deserve 1 star.

Food was excellent and delivered before the estimated time, some of the big fried chicken companies could learn a thing or two about quality food delivered. Five stars for everything apart from atmosphere as it was a home delivery

Had a worse experience from the staff regarding the spoiled food which they gave us. We bought chicken and fries for 25 pounds and we had to leave the shop due to the insults and the poisoned food. Too bad and arrogant behavior. Will never ever suggest this shop to anyone for sure.

Really bad food, and poor customer service. The manager and the staff are making fun of customers. They are providing spoiled children which are not cooked well. The fries are not good, they are refrying the chips. Really worse experience ever🤮
