ordered a large cornish pasty and a sausage roll had to wait for 10 minutes for the card machine to work! A que formed behind me and some walked away as they were using cards to pay too. well now i wish i hadn’t bothered it was not pleasant, the pasty had a weird taste and the pastry was tuff the sausage roll was much the same unpleasant. what a waste of money. lesson learnt!

Today we visited the town and opted for a pastie rather than fish and chips. Ordered 1 Lamb and mint and a Stake and Ale. Between the 2 there was 5 small chunks of meat. Mostly vegetables. And unlike these other bad reviews ours were molten hot!

Paid £5.50 for a traditional Cornish pastie. Have bought these lovely pasties from several other branches and really enjoyed them. I didn’t realise how much difference the temperature of a pastie makes to the enjoyment of said pastie. This one wasn’t even warm enough to be described as lukewarm, didn’t realise that until I had gone down the street a little and bit into it. So disappointed.

Quality food. My partner and I had a tuna baguette, cornish pasty and slice of cheese pizza between us and it was all beautiful. There's a Gregg's a few shops down, and as much as I don't mind them, the cornish bakehouse beats it hands down with not much difference in price.

Came in on Saturday 22nd October, for two cakes, two steak and ale pasties , one steak Stilton, and a lamb pastie , it came to £23.75 , sat down on bench to find they were greasy , hardly any steak but lots of potato, all pasties were vile they cost a lot more than other shops to be scammed no meat and what bit there was , yuk chewy and gristle, why say steak and ale steak and Stilton lamb ,, when there full of potato and veg , ripping people off even the pastry was not the best tuff and chewy mine went in bin , what a waste people beware,,,,

I'm a local and love the pasties and bakes from this place, the Thai red curry pasty is my favourite and love a Balti bake too. Staff are generally friendly and attentive. I'm a tad disappointed at the folk leaving bad reviews for bizarre and childish reasons. Yes they officially close around five and probably start to clean down before that time to avoid waste etc. I assume all bakers run to a similar routine. Anyway.. thumbs up from me 👍

I went to get a coffee at a quarter to 4 to be told they couldn't make coffee as machine was cleaned. They told me they close at 4.30 I think it's a bit early to stop serving coffee, normally you would clean after close or 10 mins before, the town is still full in summer with people coming of the beach, in this day and age it's a shame for your company to lose money.

When I started working in the town years ago this was the place I was excited to spend my lunch breaks. However on the first visit I had to repeatedly ask for a brie and cranberry panini. Reiterating a dozen times that the ones in the shelves were all brie and bacon so thus not vegetarian. After waiting 15-20 mins for a fresh panini to be made on my 30 min lunch break I still to my utter bewilderment got given a brie and bacon panini! Since then I have got back a handle of times to retry and each time I walk out wondering why I bothered, the food is never particularly enjoyable, staff never overly friendly and walking past now they leave their windows stocked, attracting bugs so hygiene wise I'd say they're lacking too.

Great cornish pasty, packed with flavour, moist but with a perfect crust. Reasonable price, £5.50 for a hot giant pasty. I can't remember having one as good as this even when in Cornwall. Only a short walk for the sandy beach too, so perfect beach time lunch, making a nice change from the usual fish and chips.

A proper Cornish pasty- what's not to love? As someone who grew up in Plymouth I have a romantic nostalgia for a classic Ivor Dewdney pasty, and to my mind and taste-buds pasties from the Bakehouse come very close. My only quibbles are that they don't always have one that is scalding hot, and they are a little expensive, but as I'm not about to drive to Plymouth every time I fancy one, I will continue to buy here pretty well every time I pass by.

Very nice food! Pasty was full and the rest of the family had jacket potatoes! They all said they tasted good and not overcooked! We all sat outside. The only negative was not knowing when the jackets were ready, and I was given my pasty before everyone else ate. That said it was still hot and perfectly tasty! Very reasonable prices. The mere size of the potato after I have taken the lid off, made me scream: a tiny shrinked burnt to death potato, "piece of coal" with a few dry bins inside at the HEALTHY PRICE OF OVER £3! REALLY? This "Jacket" is more of a used, emptied shell or a car before you recycle it: all inner life is ripped out. So there is no potato inside the potato, it evaporated. All you have got is black dry multilayed skin. Bon appetit!

Absolute RIP off I thought the pasties in Cornwall were dear but it would almost pay you drive there and back at these prices !!!!! The poor locals have to pay tourists prices which is unfair , it probably cost around 50p to produce a pastie but they cost around £4.50 to buy !! You want them to make a profit but not that much !!!

Went in for lunch around 12.30pm and ordered two steak pasties only to find that they were cold when served. I asked if they had any hot ones to which I didn't get a response, then I noticed they were put in the microwave and then slapped back on top of the counter - even then they were only luke warm. Came to Weymouth for the weekend and hoped to find a Cornish pasty shop as you can’t go to the south coast with getting a Cornish pasty! We got a traditional and a Stilton one and they went down very well! We liked them so much we bought some the next day! And bought some to bring home with us too! They also have sausage rolls and other pastries including vegetarian. There are soft drinks as well. A few seats outside to sit also.

Today I visited this pasty store & was served up one of the coldest & hardest pasties I have ever tried to eat in my life! The member of staff who served me was polite enough, I even asked if the pasties was hot, as past experience has made me now do this, he replied yes, but when I got outside there was no warmth to the bag it was served in, I took a bite & almost broke a tooth it was so hard, no seasoning, just bland & tasteless, so disappointing as I was starving & cold, I just wanted something tasty to eat, I have never had a steak & Stilton before & thought it would be delicious, how wrong I was, no wonder the shop was empty at 1pm on a busy Saturday afternoon, I think the locals avoid the store, a very sensible idea! I fed this to the seagulls at the beach & all I found in this pasty was I piece of gristly beef, just dry, hard pastry, where was the cheese, just bits of potato, what a rip off company for the prices they charge, shameful!

The Middle age bigger woman in there is so rude. We asked simple requests that have been done before and she decided to be condescending and speak to my partner like s$it.
