The best restaurants in Melcombe Regis Weymouth and Portland South West

Lovely evening at Halls. The wine was reasonably priced and delicious as was the food. Lamb was tender and succulent, my husband had Hake which he thoroughly enjoyed and he loved his pud. Will definitely be going back .

We have been going to Mona's for a couple of years now and it is still as fantastic now, if not better than our very first visit. The 2 ladies in charge are fabulous in the way they take care of you. It is a simple menu but the food is absolutely delicious! We say that if you are ever in Weymouth then Mona's must be on your list.

We love Sandbar! Great wine, great cocktails, great pizzas! Perfect beach bar, it’s super reasonable but really great quality food and drinks. I’d be comfortable coming in my flip flops and shorts or a little black dress in the evening. Great vibes all day long 💕

excellent service as well as food!! everything served was piping hot and all of the flavours were rich and gorgeous. the desserts (i had the apple souffle and rice pudding) were especially amazing. the service was attentive and all of the servers were lovely

the lamb is beyond amazing. the sauces are great. it's not a cheap eat but it's totally worth it. SO GOOD

Visited here whilst on holiday in the area. Being coeliac I'd researched the best gluten free restaurants and came across here, so glad I did! It was fantastic. Pretty much the whole menu can be made gluten free on request! Food tasted delicious. Would love to return if in the area again 😊

Paddy and Bernie perfect hosts. Lovely bijou hotel right on the esplanade handy for everything, it may be small but it is spotlessly clean, warm and friendly, comfortable and laid back. We found this only two years ago but we try and get back here two or three times a year. It deserves patronage, but don't all rush, leave some for us.

Travelled to weymouth on Sunday 26 May to celebrate my brothers brithday. Booked tables in advance as it was bank holiday. Recieved booking confirmation. Arrived at playyard to find its not even open on a sunday!

Getting us used to the new look Vaults Bar at the Crown Hotel. More features on the walls. Nice to see Amy again, behind the bar.

Continues to exceed expectations. Came for lunch today. Exceptional food across a lunch service. All elements of each dish were executed to perfection. Mature complex dishes that were perfectly paired with the wine flight. Rose bubbles with hollandaise foam = bubbles on bubbles. Service was impeccable, wife had to leave mid service and the staff gladly boxed up her dessert. Excellent value for money for what you are getting. How do you cook the 1kg skate skirt I bought on the way out? 😬
