Marias in Weymouth and Portland

was £5 for full english breakfast was not had to pay extra tomatos or black pudding to bee added and bread felt stale 2 slice ,no frien bread opition ,could have brought what eat for about £1.75 in a local supermarket .dont get me started on tea prices worlds gone mad on them

We were a group of four friends who came for lunch the food was very good and quickly served, The menu has many choices and there are pictures of the food around the walls

Food is always 10/10. Man who brought birds in on table. Big chap with the baseball cap. Vegetarian breakfast is superb too. Thankyou see you soon. 辉煌的咖啡馆

Went nearly all week for breakfast, greeted by a lovely young girl who was very accommodating and very friendly, sorry we did not see her on saturday. Food was good clean establishment, good cup tea, tried to get a small cup at one day but got a mug but no matter. Lady chef was very good with serving and cooking, pleasant and friendly. will go again n again when next in the area

Definitely a go to place, we are here in holiday and went with the reviews and ratings and being 6 Mins away from where we were staying it's was such a good cafe that catered for 5 adults and 7 kids and sat us all together very helpful staff and very friendly the food was absolutely amazing, bacon was cooked how you're suppose to cook bacon where the fat isn't soft and white and stringy was well done bacon for us and the hash browns were spot on honestly one of the best cafe breakfasts we have had.. Definitely recommend.

We stumbled across this place after walking into town from a nearby holiday site, we initially had a cup of tea which was reasonably priced and we was so impressed by the menu we ended up having several meals here the menu is well balanced and definitely something for everyone, we can highly recommend the Chinese food absolutely delicious! The staff was wonderful, kind and caring a hidden gem anyone must check out

I visited after reading reviews. I was welcomed and offered an extensive menu. I ordered my food the wrong way round, but it didn’t matter! I enjoyed a lovely fresh baked warm cheese scone together with a piping hot latte. I couldn’t resist ordered a portion of five dumplings filled with Chinese cabbage, ginger, pork. They were served with soy sauce to dip. Absolutely fantastic flavours and best l ever tasted. I must add the restaurant is spotless clean. I look forward to returning on my next visit. Thank you to Marria and her husband. Highly recommended!

What a great little cafe to find in weymouth all polite and made you feel welcome we came in for a cuppa tea and we couldn't resist the home made cakes which was very yummy we will be back there next time when we are in weymouth you be sure of it

Had tea and bacon sandwich. It was Ok, and reasonable value. The cafe was warm on a cold day and the toilet was clean.

I called in here just before closing time on a cold afternoon. The interior isn't quaint or pretty, the style is a few steps up from a basic cafe, but it's most pleasant. It was clean, and the cakes were delicious and the coffee good. The owners (who are shortly moving to new premises) were friendly and helpful. It's basic but very good. I would readily go again. Stopped for a quick lunch. Place was clean with a good choice of food and inexpensive. Had the jacket potato which was good, with plenty ot topping.

This cafe is just opposite the rail station. It is clean and the portions are good. The food is mainly fry ups of one sort or another. But if you want a quick meal it serves it's purpose.

A great little cafe situated right next to the station. It does a wonderful array of food I enjoyed the scrambled eggs. Very laid-back and a great place to take children.

Stayed at a B and B across the road which didnt supply breakfast, so we popped in to Marias before setting off hoem. Nice pleasant clean cafe with freshly cooked food, good selection on menu.

Right opposite the station, this is in many respects a good old fashioned cafe - freshly cooked food, home baked cakes and scones, excellent coffee. But the menu offers more, including Chinese items. I have eaten here several times, and the all day breakfast is better than most hotel breakfasts! And all at really low prices. Highly recommended.

We came in here yesterday on the last day of our holiday and both had the large full English breakfast and it was gorgeous. Very well cooked and a bargain at a fiver each. Would highly recommend this place. Cakes looked lovely too

Called in for an early morning breakfast. Just a great classic english. The lady who served us and cooked was good and helpful and we got what we expected. Recommended for what it is.

Stopped here for an English breakfast, lots of choice on the menu and you can have whatever combinations of food you want. Friendly staff, prompt service, newspapers to read..what's not to like?!

This was our second visit to Marrias as our 1st visit last year was great. A clean cafe with a nice atmosphere and great food and service. We had hot chocolates, before our vegetables noodles & dumplings and wonton soup. Thanks again to owners Tim and Marria! see you again later in the year.

I found this place on trip advisor and thought I'd give it a go as it was rated so highly. It was a great find. Good value, good service and good food. I went in with friends for breakfast, we will definitely be going back again.

My wife and I took the train down to Weymouth with the view of having brunch before our busy day of shopping. The café was perfectly situated across the road from the train station so we headed there and tried out the all-day breakfast. We were certainly not disappointed with the quality of the food especially given the price, which I thought was extremely reasonable. The only problem was I'm a sucker for homemade cakes and after settling our bill I spied several to tempt me!! We came back later that afternoon to of course for coffee and cakes before heading back home on the train. Service was very quick considering they were fairly busy at the time, cannot wait to try one of their cream teas next time we're down.

Great cafe just outside Weymouth rail station and fantastic value. Marria cooks to order so the food is always fresh and the breakfast is great value. Nice variation of a traditional cafe with a small selection of chinese influenced dishes. Do be patient if the cafe is busy as you will be rewarded with a freshly cooked meal. Would recommend and good opportunity for coastal walkers to arrange takeaway sandwiches

We had left the holiday park and took our last trip to the beach we found this lovely cafe near the railway station beautiful quaint staff very friendly and helpful and was able to purchase little Chinese purses etc food lovely and well priced was just what we needed for our trip home thankyou

After walking past most days after bingo, today my partner and myself decided to visit here for breakfast. On arrival we were greeted very well and the cafe is very clean and tidy and no plates left lying around. Breakfast came out good quality and very good value for money. Enjoyed our first visit so much that we will be coming once a week.

Took a group of visiting German students there who wanted a " typical English breakfast" .. All were made to feel most welcome and all enjoyed their breakfast. Clean, great service, lovely atmosphere and great food.

We've visited Marrias cafe twice and we've had fantastic food on both occasions. There's a wide variety of food on the menu and it's all lovely, but Marrias Chinese dumplings are already a firm favourite - we all absolutely love them! A really friendly cafe, highly recommended. We plan to visit every time we're in Weymouth.

Popped in with my wife and 3 children under 9 for a drink but ended up staying for a really amazing lunch. Great menu with the basics you'd expect and then a great selection of other food including Chinese dishes. All looked lovely and freshly cooked for a very reasonable price. Will definitely return and confidently recommend to others.

Was staying just a 5 min walk from this hidden gem. Owners were lovely n helped us get my disabled father into the cafe. Breakie was lovely and all freshly cooked and very reasonable price. Mum had one of marias homemade scones and said it was very scrummy. We will definitely be paying another visit before we leave :)

We called in for tea on Saturday 2nd July 2016. The proprietors were helpful and friendly and the tea was of good quality and reasonably priced.

A brilliant little cafe on King Street, offering up the usual cooked breakfasts with plenty of optional extras. It's unassuming exterior belies the loveliness within! Charming service, marvellous cakes and the Chinese dumplings are not to be missed. Great coffee, too, and really reasonably priced. We could do with more places like this in Weymouth :)

I've been to this place loads of times and it's never failed to deliver. They do lovely soups, sandwiches, English breakfasts, cakes and excellent Chinese dumplings. The owner used to own a place in China making dumplings so they're top notch. Very friendly staff and a nice, pleasant atmosphere. It's right near the train station, so it's handy if you're travelling and need a bite to eat without having to pay the high prices charged by South West Trains. Overall, perfection.

A great way to start the day with Marria's great value and freshly cooked full english breakfast and a great coffee.

This local corner "coffee shop" serves traditional tea and cakes, cream teas, plus an unexpected mix of Chinese dumplings and soups. We went here to try "cream tea", which is a pot of tea with an excellent homemade scone, served with little pots of butter, clotted cream, and jam. Amazing. The service and personality of the staff was wonderful; thanks for showing these Canadians the ropes! I highly recommend this spot when you are in Weymouth!

Right opposite of the railway station is this little gem. I had the cream tea which was lovely with a beautiful home made scone, £3.80 with a drink. Only small but a large menu, all cooked to order by a very busy lady. They also do breakfast sandwich jacket spuds and a selection of Chinese dishes. The sort of place where you might pass by but don't or you will miss this great cafe.
