Easily accommodated 8 of us on a busy wet day. Great breakfast all around, milkshakes amazing. Service friendly and speedy. Can’t get better value.

Just what the doctor ordered. Honest, great breakfast/fry up. Served with a smile. Good coffee, great choice, and amazing prices.

3rd visit in 4 years and food gets better each time. Won’t get a better breakfast and staff so friendly too. This place is a gem and prices good too.

Staff really friendly Food come really quickly and really hot which is always a bonus! pleasantly surprised by the low prices considering how nice the full English breakfasts are. A particular member of Staff was already really helpful in suggesting what my partner could have as he’s quite a fussy eater and he really enjoyed the option she suggested. Will 100% be back!

Found this little Café as we walked along the seafront. We managed to get seating outside in the sun. Two full breakfasts, Two Scrambled eggs on toast, + what the children had. High chair for 16 month old. Great service, very polite. Very clean. Breakfast was the real deal at a great price. Nice portion of mushrooms. Cooked just how i like it, no grease. Chef came out to say hello and was a really nice guy. Will defo use again the next time i am in Weymouth. 5***** deserves a Ten.

We come down to Weymouth once a twice a year and always stay in premier inn. It took a while to find a lovely place for breakfast until we stumbled upon blue cafe!!!! It was amazing. Really friendly manager and lady serving. Great food fast. Plenty of options and great value for money. We now come every year and hope to come back later in the year!!! As long as it isn’t a Wednesday when you are shut 😩 we will be back!!!!!!! Hopefully to see the same friendly faces!! Which is really what makes a big part of the blue cafe my favourite ❤️ place for breakfast. There were three of us went and we had the big breakfast - I asked to change one item and nothing too much trouble. Thanks Blue team xx

Been here a couple of times now and would recommend. After a week of over indulging on food while on holiday I really do just want a nice sandwich and I do begrudge paying £10 for a sarnie. However we found Cafe Blue! Staff/owner always friendly with a cheery greeting and some nice chat. Sandwiches ordered and I can hear them being made fresh, bit of salad, coleslaw all perfect. Nothing overly fancy or artisan here instead I get a nice classic, tasty sandwich which fills me up and doesn't cost a fortune. Breakfast looks good but I'd never manage it. I also love the fact that every time we visit it's empty (we eat lunch early) but as soon as we sit down other people start looking at the menu and arriving, always makes me feel like they've spotted a happy customer so decide to tuck in.

Having been to a number of disappointing places for breakfast around Weymouth this place is a 10/10 . Reasonable price for the quality of food will be back.

During a few days' holiday in Weymouth I went to Cafe Blue twice for breakfast, accompanied by my family. Food was plentiful but unexciting. On the second visit (1 Sep 23) I came across the epitome of bad customer service and I felt compelled to write about it here. I mention the exact date in case the owner (the cause!) bothers to read reviews and remembers my visit. After our order was taken by a charming young woman I asked her if I could charge my phone. We were seated outside and she pointed me to a couple of sockets inside. As I entered the interior and moved towards one of the wall sockets, a gentleman sitting near the rear asked me what I was doing. "To charge my phone". He turned out to be the owner and a grumpy old man. I say this as someone who is pretty old himself, probably even older than he... Basically he said that he hadn't given permission, whereupon I said I had asked one of the staff members. In short, after saying it wasn't up to her, he let me plug in my phone. If he hadn't we would probably left for a nearby establishment with much better service. As I turned to go back outside I overheard him say to the staff that he was paying for the electricity! I must admit I never had any server, landlord or restaurant owner trying to refuse me charging a phone. How much can it cost to charge a mobile phone for an hour? The owner needs a trip to a charm school or, at least a lesson in customer service. If we had stayed in Weymouth longer and for more breakfasts we would definitely not have returned to this cafe.

Genuinely the best Full English breakfast in town. I'm local and have tried most places, Cafe Blue always comes out on top. The bacon and black pudding are particularly good.

This cafe is a must to visit, we went here for breakfast on Sunday while on holiday and it was the best breakfast we have had!.. The staff were very attentive and very welcoming.we will definitely be going back there on our next visit to Weymouth.😀

Best breakfast you can possibly get in Weymouth. Great service and quick too. I had the Large full breakfast which was amazing. Great qualty ingrediance for the prices. Dont bother going anywhere else as youbare likely to be dissapointed. You can park nearby for fee before 9 am

The gentleman in this cafe clearly knows how to cook a fry up. No grease, good quality products, eggs cooked perfectly and the chap even put two bags of tea in the pot as I like builders tea. Very quick service, we intend to go back today on our 3 day break to Weymouth.

Cafe Blue serves up the best full English breakfast in Weymouth. The eggs are always cooked to perfection and the bacon is the best. The view is stunning and staff are bubbly and kind. Love it here.

Only popped in for a quick lunch, toastie was lovely but salad was wilted and cucumber and tomato had obviously been pre prepared as had gone wrinkly. Toilets in desperate need of a clean and freshen up.

We ate breakfast here twice on a recent short break to Weymouth. Excellent value breakfasts, the scrambled egg on toast is huge - I'd guess probably 3 eggs? Very pleasant owner who remembered us on our second visit (and remembered what we'd had too).

Called in there the other day for a late breakfast. Friendly atmosphere, had a laugh with one of the owners Pete. Breakfast arrived and was very impressed with the quality. Plenty on the plate, not greasy, first class. Will definitely go there again.

A great way to start an 8 night holiday in Dorset, having made an early start on a Sunday morning to drive from Cheltenham to Weymouth. I arrived at 9.30am after a quiet car journey, feeling very hungry. No problem; a large English fry-up of fried egg, sausage, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, a round of toast, 2 pots of tea, a large glass of orange juice, for a cool £12. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was really hot. This set me up for a brisk walk around the Isle of Portland; I stayed full up until dinner time. (That's the evening meal; I'm a Southerner). Good levels of hygiene; a fast turnover, with tables and chairs thoroughly wiped down as each diner left.

We had a lovely breakfast here. Very cheap but the food still tasted good and the portions were substantial. Staff very sweet too and we got a table outside so we could enjoy the sea view.

Went in to Cafe Blue before going shopping on Saturday morning. We both had a full English breakfast, this was freshly cooked and was very good and very good value for money. Will definitely return again,would highly recommend.👍

It was really challenging to find a place with good reviews in this area of Weymouth. It's very touristy, so you end up with places that are just alright.This cafe was pretty good. The food was decent. It really wasn't anything amazing, but there was nothing wrong with either the service or the food. For the cost it was actually pretty amazing. It's right on the main road so you get to look across at the beach and water. It was really close to where we were staying, so that was a plus for us. I would recommend it. It's very basic but cooked well.

We enjoyed another visit to Café Blue 2½ weeks ago on a glorious sunny morning. As always, there was a warm welcome from Pete & Sue and the food was lovely. We're not locals but every time we pop down to Weymouth from Yeovil we head for Café Blue, to chill and enjoy the ambiance. With regards to the three recent negative reviews, yes it's a small café but Pete is always happy to help larger groups of customers arrange the seating so that it's safe and convenient for everyone (and on a serious note he probably has to ensure he takes health and safety into account when hot drinks and food are being carried to tables, so not too many obstacles is a good idea). The staff are always cheerful and polite and do a brilliant job. Hope to get down to Weymouth again soon for another visit!

Great value full English breakfast, friendly staff, flexible with requests - such as veggie sausage instead of pork ones. Everything hot and tasty , we had two regular and one large breakfast, fruit juices and tea/coffee for three & cost £27!

Great little cafe over the road from the seafront. had fish fingers, chips and beans which was great. It's table service which is very good, will definitely be visiting again.

Went to the cafe yesterday morning where we were approached by the manager who straight away made remarks that we found wasn't in good gesture... as we went to order the manager then proceeded to express her views on the children and seating Plans

Arrived for a family holiday which we had been looking forward to after a stressful few months and quality family time was just what was needed. It became very clear from the attitude of the staff that we were an inconvenience with small children, the cafe wasn’t busy and we were looking forward to some nice food, can’t comment on the cuisine as the attitude of the staff made us feel so uncomfortable that we decided to leave and take our money and custom elsewhere. DEFINITELY NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY

We were in Weymouth on a family holiday and on our first morning we went to have breakfast here, from the moment we walked in we could tell we wasn’t welcome as we had prams and it clearly was an inconvenience!! But as there are 2 tiny babies with us the prams are very much needed! It didn’t matter where we sat it was in the way! Straight away the female behind the counter asked if we would be there long! So 1 of the guys travelling with us in jest said we could go else where and the lady basically told us to leave! It was so rude and so uncalled for we have babies that isn’t a crime!! And being a family friendly seaside town you’d assume FAMILIES would be welcome! It’s there loss majorly as we are a big party and will be here all week so they’ve had a massive financial loss and there were only 2 other ppl in there at the time! So they were hardly run off their feet! DONT GO HERE IF U LIKE A FRIENDLY WELCOME OR HAVE CHILDREN AS ITS CLEARLY SOMETHING THAT OFFENDS THEM!

Popped in for Sunday breakfast having read some of the reviews. We weren’t disappointed. We both opted for the lite full English and it was a lovely plate full. The bacon was proper thick tasty bacon. Friendly service. They didn’t bat an eye at my strange request to keep tomatoes and egg apart on the plate. We’d definitely return.

We wanted a place for breakfast on the seafront...saw this and wasnt dissapointed! First time we went we had the small breakfast...amazing! Decided to go back again...both had the big breakfast, again not let down best breakfast EVER!

Sat outside under the canopy as it pelted down with rain. Lovely friendly staff, good value for money. Baguettes and panini delicious especially the hot bbq chicken.

Really love this cafe and come here for breakfast whenever we are near on holiday. Always say, why go anywhere else if you enjoy the food, and this is certainly the case here. The food is always hot, cooked perfectly and so tasty. Another plus is they serve fab coffee. Traditional English is what we normally have, pancakes occasionally, couldn’t fault food or service. We called in for breakfast during the first week in July (2019) and were not disappointed. Can't fault it.

We visited for brunch and found the food to be very good! Great guy behind the counter who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable - you Can see Weymouth beach when sitting outside. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars was because it looked and felt a little run down (particularly the toilet!) but is was clean and we would definitely visit here again.

Had breakfast here most mornings, cooked fresh to order..if you can take time to wait it's well worth it...the hosts Pete and Sue are a delight and the amount of lovely locals we've met here are fantastic. See you all soon!!

Went here on our second morning, wished we had gone on the first, the Cafe Blue is run by a lovely approachable & friendly couple, the food is all cooked fresh and was very tasty, with good sized portions, it is only a small cafe but they do an excellent job, the weather was good so we ate outside, our only criticism would be, can you stop the delivery vehicles from blocking the view of the beach please, ( only joking wanted to see a reply)

Tiny little cafe which we visited for Breakfast . Portions hot and big so no issues with leaving hungry. Scrambled egg was cooked in the micro and came out resembling an omelette whilst the sausages were straight from the fridge of the local Secondary school. That said it was all OK but nothing more.

Just finished the large full English and am so happy. Breakfast vegetarian stack went down very well with my wife and my son was pleased he could pick what he wanted on his "full English". Great service, super fast and no request was a problem. Also, great view of the sea. I would wholeheartedly reccomend!

Went today for breakfast based on TA reviews. 3 adults and a child. Good choice of breakfasts. I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to lose weight so no toast and the other two didn't fancy black pudding. Without any problems or charge I had their black pudding. The little one had scotch pancakes and syrup, and half my b----y bacon! Plus coffees, tea, milk shake. The owner was friendly and humorous. The cost for 4 breakfasts and drinks under £30. PS the toilets were clean.

We regularly come here for breakfast and never leave disappointed. It is always freshly made and delicious. On top of this, my nan (who has mobility issues) visits most days and Pete is always happy to help her in and out of the Cafe. Such a lovely and friendly team.

The cafe made us very welcome and nothing was to much trouble made us just what we wanted even down to a slim breakfast without a sin in it tea was served in tea pots so you could let it brew to your desired strength

Not overly attractive from the outside and a scruffy menu but the food was excellent and far more than we expected. Outstanding value too. We'll probably go back next time we are in Weymouth.
