An excellent and nourishing home made soup, generous portion included a large chunk of nice rustic bread and butter, had set me up on several visits here. Also, real local Miles loose leaf tea sourced from the Miles Tea distribution centre across the road, worth a visit. My fold up walker was easily accommodated, and I noticed it was a dog friendly place. Been here a number of times and the quality and friendly service make me want to return. Thank you for not playing 'demolition music' but instead a calm and muted background of Classic FM Radio.

What a find!! Can not recommend this Tea Room highly enough. We’ve had lots of cream teas over the years, but Bramdowns is the best ever. The homemade scones were amazing. The service was first class and so friendly. The decor and the crockery are lovely, also with the music in the background you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Thoroughly enjoyed it, so much more than just a cream tea. Long May you continue, Ladies. Next time we’re passing by Porlock, Bramdowns, is a definite stop off.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night break at Locanda on the Weir, Cindy and Pio have strived to make our stay memorable with wonderful service and stunning exceptional food. The Hotel itself is full of amazing and interesting things, would highly recommend visiting.

This is a regular for us. We've been visiting for years and we love it. The food is delicious, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our boys particularly love the cannoli! It is mostly outdoor seating (with good views of the harbour), although there is indoor seating as well. We'd highly recommend it.

Stayed a couple of nights but felt like longer. The welcome and homely feel of the place made for such a relaxing break. Staff worked tirelessly and were always helpful. Kim, Olly and Jasmin. And an army of others in the morning, cleaning and changing rooms. Food was superb throughout and if it's not on the main menu then requests for something different are easily catered to. Loved the décor and the many different areas where you can sit, read or play puzzles and games. A superb garden that has had a lot spent on it gives amazing views over the sea. Dogs also welcome and catered for as much as the humans. Don't change a thing!

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the food so I can't give leave a rating, but I'm sure it would be good given previous reviews. All I'd say is if you do want to eat from here get your order in ASAP otherwise you will be left hungry. We walked in at 7, only one table was taken, but they couldn't take an order for 2 x fish and chips, and there wasn't even a hint of trying to fit our order in. So we left hungry. All I'd say to non local visitors is get there at 5pn or ring early otherwise you may be disappointed, the food looked great which made it worse!!

What a fabulous lunch. There were eight of us who ordered a variety of sandwiches, toasties and cream teas. Food was excellent and great value for money. Service was quick and friendly. People have written reviews complaining about the decor which is actually very tastefully done. Besides, with such great food in a beautiful setting why worry about the decor!

Beautiful setting; a quintessential English garden. We have visited Kitnors over the past few years whilst holidaying in Devon but our last visit was very disappointing. Ordered cheese on toast and cheese scones. Thin sliced loaf with thinly processed cheese. Scones were tiny with thinly sliced processed cheese. Small portions of chutney. All served on small tea plates. We’ve always promoted Kitnors to others but sadly not anymore. Staff were friendly but food was poor.
