Locanda on the Weir in West Somerset

Fantastic stay at Locando in the Weir. A touch of class but in a very understated and friendly manner. Cindy and Pio are the perfect hosts who make you feel so at home. We felt relaxed from the minute we arrived. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The lounge area is welcoming and cozy with sofas you disappear into and the dining area itself is so cleverly thought out. The artwork on the walls will keep you engaged for a good while. The standout is the food served though, every dish is so well put together and Pio takes the time to explain each as they are served. We had a great time and would love to come back. Just returned from a lovely 2 night break at Locanda on the Weir, Cindy and Pio have strived to make our stay memorable with wonderful service and stunning exceptional food. The Hotel itself is full of amazing and interesting things, would highly recommend visiting.

Wonderful house, warm and welcoming hosts, great range of drinks/wines and above all delicious food! We will return and recommend to friends.

We went here for a set menu and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Each course was of an exceptionally high standard using local and homegrown ingredients. The restaurant and bar are beautifully decorated with views of the ocean. There is an extensive cocktail and wine menu. It is also dog friendly if you notify them beforehand. The staff are very welcoming and professional. This is a real gem, and we will definitely return.
