The best restaurants in West Dorset South West

Lovely environment to eat in. Food piping hot and promptly served (early evening setting). Served by Laila and very well looked after. Great price. And worth noting that we were there because we'd been in the previous evening and had had a great meal too. If I had to be super picky it's only to say to Zizzi head office that I find there is so much menu choice it's a bit overwhelming...

Been here quite a few times. Fish and chips is the best I've had. Good size fish. Been to other places in Lyme Regis . No where as good. Top marks every time

My Wife and I popped in here for a quick lunch and were blown away with the quality of food and service. We definitly weren't expecting the flavours of food to resonate like they did. We had the Calamari and the 6oz Steak Burger and can't reccomend it enough. We have visited here before but the chef on this visit in particular has blown us away.

Bit disappointing on this occasion. Chicken Tikka Mosala was about 8 bits of chicken swimming in a bowl of sauce. Jalfezi was a bit stewed and not oily enough.

Loved it! Will be sure to visit again next time we’re in town. Amazing food and service !!

The room was really lovely. Parking was easy to sort. Restaurant on site was definitely a big surprise

They do grilled chicken very well. Sides were great as well.

I love this coffee shop at garden centre it's so nice especially at moment as flowers are coming out and weather was soooooooooo nice today I sat outside the staff both in coffee shop and garden centre are so pleasant well worth a visit x

Another most delicious meal - lunch this time - the gigot with wild mushrooms and pommes dauphinoises was perfect. And easy parking just outside.

Restaurant was clean with very friendly staff, they put all your food on hot plates and give you hot towels to finish (and chocolates) the food was lovely and fairly priced, my one little niggle is that I would say my curry was a tiny bit to sweet but other than that it was great.

Wow Went to egg cup for Sunday lunch, there was four of us and we all enjoyed it very much. We all said what lovely service and tasty meat melted in the mouth be definitely coming back! 5 starts

We stopped off at the cafe on our way to and from Cornwall. It was perfect for us as a family with young children particularly as there is an amazing park just outside. The staff were very welcoming and the food and drink was lovely. It was quite busy but the staff helped accommodate us plus our bugggy where our baby was sleeping. They had a children’s menu, colouring in and books for the children. We will definitely stop by again when we’re in the area!
