The atmosphere was buzzy and enjoyable, we were looked after by Laila who was attentive and very pleasant. The prices where extremely good with the 3 course menu being very cost effective.

Really helpful and welcoming staff with excellent food and service made the birthday celebration a great success. A huge well done.

Arrived quite early on a Friday eveningand the place was rammed! Must be a good sign. Drew a short straw and got the hard metal chairs instead of the comfy ones. Onto the food: Starters, prawns on a skewer. Not much to say, just prawns on a skewer with some tomato sauce. Just OK. Pizza: I had a sticky pig rustica. Rather an odd pizza. Extremely thin base,to the point that it shatters. Very thin layer of tomato sauce but only on half the pizza. Various bits of pork scattered about. Cheese, loads of honey and some teeth breakingly hard strips of pork cracking. I love pork crackling, but on a pizza? And rock hard? Overall taste of honey and not much else really. To be brutally honest, I prefer a spicy meat feast at spoons for half the money. Dessert: Sundae type thing in a champagne glass, not a sundae glass. It was actually the best part of the meal. Very nice, but then for over £8 it ought to be, So a 3 course meal for 2 with 2 drinks comes in at nearly £90. Terrible value for money. Thank goodness I had tesco vouchers to take up the bulk of the bill! Top marks to the waitress. Very attentive, chatty and prompt despite it being crazy busy. She was running about the place like mad.

Great good. Quick service. Lovely staff. Perfect 'tiny tummy' menu fur our 2yr old for only £3.50. Thanks to our server, Ellie.

As I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a lovely man named keiren, he was very polite and efficient with service to make sure our experience was the best it could possibly be.

Had the Butter Bean Stufato, and the Black Forest fondant. Both from the specials menu, and both absolutely delicious!

Came with friends on 11th January. Having already eaten in a Zizzis before un Cardiff, my wife and I were really looking forward to this. On arrival we were seated at our table which was way too small for a group of 4. Once the food arrived we had to put the water jug on the floor to make room for everything and even then, the table was very cramped. The big negative for me was the constant draft coming from the entrance of the restaurant whenever somebody came in or left which was very frequent. Food quality: just average really! Nothing to shout from the roof tops about. The Tiramisu was a let down and my friends chocolate brownie was frankly shameful in size for £7 Can safely say we won’t be back in a hurry.

Table booked for 7:30. Big queue when we arrived and all had booked a table. Average waiting time was 15-20 minutes. When we did get seated we were told they only had one table which was right by the door so could feel a draft constantly and had people who were waiting for a table watching us most of the evening. Sat by a large group of about 20 people who were very noisy. Not enough staff on. Had to keep calling them over to get any service. Pizzas were cold when arrived so had to send back. So expensive! Desserts now £7-8 each. Not value for money. Would not recommend.

After not having eaten at Zizzi’s for years we will be returning again very soon. Amazing food, couldn’t fault it! All the staff were friendly and amazing but Kieran our waiter really did make this a great experience. Would recommend to anyone

A bit overpriced and they managed to serve an alcoholic drink, rather than a non-alcoholic one and just laughed when I asked for a replay.

Lovely meal for lunch with my partner and toddler. Kieran was fantastic, cheerfully interacting with our daughter throughout our lunch, she loved him. The food was delicious. We had mozzarella tomatoes starter, spicy meatball pasta, spicy chicken pizza, and chocolate sundae to finish. I was surprised by the prices a little, but haven’t eaten out in a while, so may be a little out of touch. Over £17 for a pizza with minimal ingredients. The meatball dish had lots of meat, probably didn’t need all three meatballs, two would be plenty. Flavours were lovely. Have always enjoyed coming to Zizzi’s over the years in Dorch, and nice to see the quality and service is still high. Highly recommend for a filling, delicious meal with a smile. Thank you Zizzi’s team, we will be back again for another special occasion

Food was lovely and you could tell everything was fresh and perfectly cooked, great attentive service by Kieran and everything was quick and efficient, thank you so much.

We were grateful they squeezed us in as they were busy. Abigail our waitress was nice and friendly and very good with the children. Food was good for a chain restaurant. Only thing we found disappointing was how close the tables were. I’m not expecting loads of room but I don’t like people touching me or my coat repeatedly when going between tables. It’s just a bit irritating when you’re trying to eat but overall a nice experience.

Poor service as it took half a hour just to get our drinks and then to have the server keep on about my friends allergies. I will never go in there again. We literally had our drinks that we paid for and walked out.

WOW WOW WOW. My partner and I took our 6yo daughter out for a New Years Eve meal here and so glad we did. The attention to detail in absolutely everything was second to none and this includes the attention made to me being Coeliac. The atmosphere, food, drinks and staff were all faultless and we have found our new local place to eat out. We had 3 courses and each of my plates came out with a little GF sticker which I thought just shows these guys understand the rules and seriousness of allergies. We could not fault a single thing during our time in here of around 2 hours. Now I'm hoping I've got the right person but the name on our receipt is Meg. I would personally like to thank Meg for her time, help and knowledge with regards to the GF items I could have. Meg made our evening that little more enjoyable and less stressful when it comes to allergies. Meg, I hope you had a drink on me and we'll be seeing you again very soon. I can safely and honestly recommend Zizzi's Dorchester to anyone in the area looking to have an enjoyable meal out. Happy New Year to all.

Surprised to see a very reasonable priced Christmas 3 course menu still available with loads of variety for each course , food came out quick , hot and was very tasty. Laila ensured we had all we needed ! Recommended pudding too- she was spot on ! 5*

Great location and super friendly staff. Food quality was good and the dinning experience was also good. The restaurant has had a recent refresh and looks good. The toilets let this restaurant down, they weren't very clean and really messy. Clealrly missed the refurb from the main areas. The staff made the evening enjoyable though.

Absolutely great service from Kerion, managed to get us a table on a very booked evening and had impeccable service, amazing manners and didn’t miss a thing. Managed to check in and make sure everything was looked after even at a very busy time, great level of service and amazing food.

The service was very good. Kieran was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.

Not happy due to the fact my partner had her works christmas meal here. End result she now has severe food poisoning. On top of that the poor customer service, not taking drinks orders for ages, leaving cocktails on the bar for ages. Whoever was responsible for cooking her meal needs shooting because clearly wasn't done right and now 3 days later and she is still suffering. I very much doubt she'll be returning there again EVER. If you want an unwanted christmas present of food poisoning then by all means go there, otherwise avoid like the plague because that's what the place has thrown at us.

Recently had the pleasure of visiting with the family. I was greeted by Megan extremely welcoming. nothing was too much, she went the extra mile to ensure we were happy throughout our visit. The management should be exceptionally proud of the team they have running the restaurant. Food with a great atmosphere made our visit memorable. Very clean, well decorated restaurant

We had the best evening a Zizzi Dorchester. It was prime Christmas party time, the place was packed (a table of 27 came in when we were there). The staff were run ragged, but they were polite, efficient and had smiles on their faces. The food was amazing, service prompt and great value. It was my husbands first time there, he’s lactose free, but had a great choice, including desserts, we will definitely be back 😀.

We arrived to a very busy Dorchester restaurant where staff were coping incredibly well, with a lot of big Christmas group tables as well as regular diners. They were working tirelessly to make sure that everyone was attended to as efficiently as possible. Emese served us with a very friendly chatty manner, and front of house staff member (very tall with shaved red hair) was also very polite, as we had to wait longer for our booked table. He also moved us away from a large party table, so our meal could be enjoyed.

My family and I came to Brewery square this evening for a planned birthday meal that unfortunately did not go our way at the originally booked restaurant, in a bid to save our evening we decided to try our luck at Zizzi’s and luck is exactly what we had! With no reservation or any real plan we were extremely happy when we were received with open arms by Kieran! He made us feel extremely welcome and had us seated right away! The atmosphere inside was brilliant and the services we received along with the food were outstanding! I can’t thank the whole team enough for saving our evening and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great evening out with incredible food and vibes! Thank you all so much!

Very good and professional service

Went for a family meal Sunday afternoon with the kids and grandkids. At first they couldn’t find the booking. After a while asked if would like to order then realised they hadn’t given us menus, had to ask for children’s one, there were 3 under four. When the food came it was just under cooked and very bland. We asked for a small portion herby fries and a large regular and got them the wrong way around. Asked for tea spoons for the kids ice cream and got large dessert spoons, apparently someone had nicked all the tea spoons. Staff looked and acted very not bothered and everyone was an inconvenience, no leadership or management from anyone. So £170 and we got average overpriced food and drinks and rubbish service. Have been in the week before and it was a great experience. So very disappointed 😞.

Average food, nice location and atmosphere. We had a variety of meals from the main menu and the price does not match the quality. The pizza was cold, I think this was left on the side waiting for other meals to be finished. Children's main meals are tiny probably only suite up to 7 year old. Salad was bland. The restaurant is lovely and well presented and staff are friendly just let down by average food.

Amazing authentic Italian food!! Service today was slightly slow, clear that the management hadn't quite booked on enough staff to accommodate increased demand while the Xmas market is in town.

We had a great light meal, a little difference in the way they make their pizzas but still delicious. Service very efficient and fast.

I dined here with my partner on Saturday night and had the most incredible experience! We were served by a beautiful blonde lady who I believe was the manager. She was absolutely excellent. Really attentive, super friendly and completely made our experience. We shared the favourites board to start which was absolutely delicious and for our main course we opted for two pizzas. All food was absolutely fantastic. I have already booked a table to bring the rest of my family!! Thanks so much Zizzi😘

me and my dad are regular visitors (pretty much every week) and yet to have made a review about how awesome this place is truly lovely food and great staff. all and all i recommend highly!!

We ordered starters (pork & garlic meatballs, a garlic bombe & garlic bread) they were really tasty! Especially the bombe who knew honey could go so well with a giant garlic dough ball! For mains, we ordered a rustica sticky pig, calzone carne piccante, crispy prosciutto carbonara & a children's spaghetti bolognase. The mains were absolutely delicious, although the children's spaghetti bolognase was tasteless, which was a shame as I had high hopes. Overall, we had a really good time and came away feeling full although I was surprised that you can't use Veteran's discount on a Friday or a Saturday, I think that is quite insulting considering they accept Tesco's vouchers all day everyday!!
