Really good food. Fast delivery. Friendly service

Pizza was ok, garlic bread not so good, just garlic salt on dough not so tasty. It’s was all ok but not great and was late. Mushy banana and Nutella calzone not to great either.

Second time we’ve ordered, been told a delivery time and it’s really late. Kids waiting for dinner isn’t a fun experience!

Delicious authentic Italian pizza

I did get called by the delivery driver but it was still an hour later after the courier had been recorded as left the store and I’m still waiting for my food to arrive

Food was delivered nearly an hour later and the food was cold.

Have to say having been there before and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening returned and had a completely different experience. The drinks we ordered weren't available and no other substitute one was offered . My starter didn't arrive .The staff were unable to tell us the difference in our pizzas and the difference between a gluten free , vegetarian and a vegan pizza when a pizza was ordered. Certainly wont be going back sorry.

Visited with a group of five and enjoyed amazing wood-fired pizzas, starters, and drinks for just £86. The pizzas were exceptional, and the prices were very pocket-friendly. Cozy atmosphere and great service. A must-visit in Dorchester!

Ate here with my partner. Excellent service, very friendly and polite staff. We both had a pizza and shared a desert. The food was all exceptional, pizzas were very fresh and Ingredients seemed high quality. Would highly recommend.

Disappointed. My Starter arrived 15 minutes before my.wifes and we shared a main meal as they forgot to cook the other main meal. Would not recomend. Hardly Italian.

Piping hot and tasty as always!

The service was terrible. It was like being trapped in a horror movie where you just waited and waited and waited. The service took an excruciating long time for everything and it wasn’t even busy. The pizza itself was good but the tiramisu was awful. I would never eat here again.

Delicious pizzas! We took Grandma and two children and we all loved it. Puds were gorgeous too. Staff very polite and friendly. Very reasonable, will come back next year when we come back on holiday. Thanks for a great meal.

Food arrived early, fresh and piping hot 5*

Yet again incredibly late and then cold on arrival. Two hours from order to delivery; got a notification that it was on it's way at 20:12 but took 30 minutes and takeaway is only 10 minutes away. No compensation and little apology. Won't be giving Basilico a third chance I'm afraid.

V friendly staff but service slow. Regretted not ordering pizzas as they looked good passing by for takeaway deliveries. My aubergine dish had one, raw, thick slice of one piece of aubergine in a sea of tomato sauce (tasted like tinned tomatoes with minimal seasoning). I might be tempted to try their takeaway pizza but unlikely.

A pizza with an excellent base. The margherita was fabulous but on a Sunday evening during opening hours the service time wasn't the best: don't be in a hurry. As an Italian I take pizza seriously: on the menu there is the one with pineapple along with a jumble of other ingredients whose flavors we are not used to. Excellent pizza, dimensions that in Italy are for the children's menu, high prices for the quantity. I didn't understand if they added the cost of the carton for takeaway or in the menu the flavors exclude taxes and we're talking about 21 pounds for 2 baby daisies. Pizzeria not very Italian but with excellent intentions.

Ok. Read reviews and went looking for a nice little Italian. Sad experience that ruined our night. Restaurant empty on arrival. Service: 40 minutes for drinks to arrive. Drinks need to arrive TOGETHER. Cutlery in tin cans on table: unwashed. Toilets filthy and dripping under sink. Two parties arrived who had booked and turned away as staff not managing bookings.

Delivery was 2 hours late but when driver arrived he offered a FULL refund and was very friendly - I still give service 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thank you so much!

Stick to pizzas! The bruschetta (lacking the promised pesto, oil, parmesan and basil) and the parmigiano al melanzane (aubergine bake) with lots of tomato sauce and very little aubergine were extremely disappointing.

Very nice pizza, we live a bit of a distance so we pop them in the air fryer for 5 minutes & they come out beautiful.

We went there for an early Valentine's day meal due to work patterns. The staff were so attentive and even stayed open until we wanted to leave. We didn't know they were closing. The food was exquisite. Reasonably priced. If I had any room left I would of had dessert. But as it was we had a sharing board, 2 mains, a bottle of wine and two beers. Would highly recommend going and giving it a go. We will be going back. Thank you ladies

Rather disappointing. No atmosphere. 'Floppy' pizzas. I read it was Italian family run....by Indians..??🤷‍♀️ no Italians serving.

What can I say. One of the best pizzas I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The chicken speciality dish my wife had was excellent. The staff and wine were spot on. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Awesome Pizza, even on a busy Saturday night! Super driver, who got the food here so quickly, it was like it had just been taken out of the oven.

Although our delivery was late it was due to no fault of their own (car trouble) they are so lovely and polite and fully explained to us what was happening. Apologised so much but didn’t need to. Food is absolutely sensational, so fresh and so tasty!

Ordered and never received. Rang restaurant twice told both times it was out for delivery and “sorry we are very busy” gave up after it was 2 hours late and sorted something else out. Really poor.

Lovely little (very little) Italian serving fantastic pizzas and calzones and a selection of other dishes. We went on a busy Saturday night and had a great time. Really interesting pizza toppings! I recommend the Pizza do Putecaro for a taste sensation! Lots of Gluten-free options too. Bravo 👌

Don't wanna be that guy. But I am a chef. That was terrible for the money. Pizza is a great gp. Yours must be epic. £15 for a barely 9/10 inch pizza. A light drizzle of ragu 5 mini meatballs and a little cheese. The crust was about an inch wide on it as the toppings were so small. Lasagne wasn't too bad but watery sauce. Really disappointed having served a lot of Italian food. Catso 😢

Well what a find we went to an indian but jammed in a corner load horrible so we left, on are walk to find some where else we spotted this places, we walked in and met with a smile shown a table, everything was nice and timed to perfection, we ordered a starter for 2 amazing flavours, my miss ordered the best burger she's ever tasted in a amazing rustic bun with side salad, I had a goat cheese pizza which was amazing the food was fresh we didn't feel uncomfortably stuffed we were happy with the price as the hole package was fantastic and we left smiling so thank you for the great expireance and food.😁

Very pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were top notch. The caramelised onion, chilli jam and lemon rind on mine blended so well with goats cheese and mozzarella! Inspiring!

I usually don't leave any reviews but I tried this restaurant today. I ordered pizza bufala. It was the best pizza ever! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I ate here this evening before watching a film at the plaza cinema a 2minute walk away. I had seen this place on the map and often thought i should try it. On first glance this little restaurant doesn't look much but don't judge a book by its cover, go inside and enjoy the pizza. On arrival the place was quiet bar one couple enjoying their food. The lovely waitress/possible owner took a little while to greet us but once she did I can't complain. We quickly ordered our food and beverage each. Whilst we chatted they decided to put some questionable pop/rap/rnb music on which was a bit louder than background music so I had to pay attention to my friends conversation. However all can he forgiven as when our pizzas arrived they were authentic and delicious. Having been to Italy multiple times I can confirm these Woodfired sour dough pizzas in Dorset are fantastic. The waitress also checked on us a couple of times which i appreciate. Great little find. A shame for the owners that it wasn't busier as they deserve to have more footfall on a Friday night. The bill was very reasonable. 2 soft drinks and 2 pizzas was just over £35.00. I will 100% be returning with my partner and no doubt with my friend again.

A good 20 or so of us challenged their accommodation and oven capacity the other night, but they were friendly and worked hard to get our orders right and out in good time. The pizzas were gorgeous and we all had a great time.
