The best restaurants in Bideford North Torridge South West

Was really looking forward to trying breakfast but was unfortunately closed. Maybe it was just out of season as it was the last week of September but didn't see any notice boards with information.

Was in Bideford and going to have fish and chips however went into chip shop on quay (Mr.C) everyone in restaurant was eating sausages and chips which so anemic we left. FOUND the Pannier galley Cafe and the best we did, had burgers with Parkham Cheese absolutely fabulous and very tasty and as for the price 2 burgers were less than 1 fish and chips, this cafe needs to used by everyone the lady serving was chatty smiley and very friendly TRY this place you will be amased

The most under rated venue ever. A delightful working g mans pub, great staff. Amazing prices and 2. Big TV screen for all kinds of sport. Sunday roast has to.be the best on the planet for £9. Three meats and eleven vegetables, proper home cooking with amazing flavours. My Sunday regular for sure

Food very salty squid was cold

Excellent for takeaway and very good value - couldn't have asked for a better curry. Was nice, thick and flavourful. Staff are nice, welcoming and professional. Highty recommended - one of the best, if not the best in bideford

Pizza was loaded to the full and the base was nice. Pity the quality of the filling was so poor. The 'meat' looked like pellets of dried food. Pity, it looked good tasted pretty horrible. Threw most of it in the bin

Best chinese food I've had in ages , and excellent portion size . The chicken satay skewers were massive and the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style had two large bits of chicken cut up 👍

Awful … truly bad! I rarely review like many only normally when fantastic or terrible! Delivery was slow and late the food was cold which we received a partial refund but the food I wouldn’t have fed to my dog! We were so hungry after a long day the cardboard box was more appetising. Just don’t do it plain and simple, didn’t get an apology when I rang just felt like it was an inconvenience calling to ask where my food was. Please don’t waste you money!

Quite possibly the worst culinary experience ever. Dirty cups, cold food, and staff who quite honestly didn't have a clue. Horrible doesn't quite cut it.

King Prawn Noodles Soggy noodles and 3 prawns only. Shocking, never had such a small amount and enjoy King Prawns. Felt short changed !

Popped in on off chance for lunch. Ordered a toastie and dirty fries each. The toasties were delivered relatively swiftly but no sign of the fries. Had to start eating toastie before it went cold & asked twice about the fries to be told 'they're just coming'. My husband had finished his sandwich before the fries arrived. The 2 kitchens obviously weren't communicating on orders. We wanted them together not as separate courses! Shame as food was lovely but make sure you tell them you want things together.
