Amazing food best in this town for pizza

Originally told 40mins for delivery but took two hours to get delivered and communications with the Bideford branch was bad and contradictory. Delivery charges are misleadIng. States it's £5 but they also add on 10% per item for delivery as well so in total our delivery charge for 3 pizzas was around £13. If they charge that much for delivery I expect service to be great. When I'd call for updates over the tedious two hour wait they were unacceptable. First they told us it had gone to the wrong address so we ran down the road to see if they had them...that was a lie. When we, finally, got an email to say it had been dispatched it was another lie. It was actually dispatched 30mins later. It was explained to me that the email they send is automated, not based on reality and they can't do anything to stop it from lying to customers. I've now fired away the menu on my fire, not going to put myself through that faff again. Pizza was ok, nothing special, but I was so hungry after waiting patiently for two hours that I'd have eaten the box and been happy.

Pizza was mediocre. Nice not to have to cook dinner. Communication and delivery was dire. Food ordered at 5:40 for 6:30, received an email that the food had been dispatched at 6:32, and then we finally received the food at 7:30. We live a 15-20 minutes drive away. For a pizza delivery service that boasts 180 second cooking times and charges £5 + hidden delivery charges (£14 for us) to deliver to our door they're not impressive at all. A £2 pizza from Aldi beats Fireaway any day.

I live 14 minutes away and these guys are the only place that deliver with reasonable prices and the food is always still nice and hot upon delivery! Was given up to an hour wait snd it came within 45 minutes

2 orders in a row an hour late , they provide unrealistic delivery times. Ordered 3 garlic & 3 buttermilk dips and they sent us 6 ketchup! Lol. Our "cheesy garlic bread pizza" had no cheese, and when I called up to complain last night he couldn't speak the lingo to understand what the issue was about. Hopefully he's able to understand this review atleast. Never again. terrible delivery time, Terrible food, terrible service. TERRIBLE! 😂

Overall, while the taste is good and the halal options are appreciated, the restaurant could improve by being more generous with toppings and cheese. Given their prices, they shouldn't be cutting corners on portions. This would greatly enhance the value for customers.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Great pizza cooked fresh plenty of toppings.. Chicken wings came off the bone and loads of sauce. Very tasty. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

Great food and fantastic service

Ordered food for 4 people on just eat and never got the food. An hour after i ordered they said they would be 20mins. Then called to say their car broke down and will be another 20mins. Then it never arrived and they wouldn’t pick up the phone or call back. Just get a dominos! Photo below is the food I got.

Ordered a takeaway tonight bbq boss pizza and the chicken was gone off the potatoe wedges was hard and they didn’t want to refund me nothing

Unfortunately I can’t give a zero star review. Food came after 1 & half hours. Cold. Driver went to the wrong address and didn’t apologise. Even though the postcode was on the order. We called several times and the woman who answered never apologised once and even said it was our fault. The address was written out on the order from putting a pin on the map. It was correct. The woman then put the phone down on us. Disgraceful behaviour and terrible customer service. Awful.

UberEats buy one get one free, good deals on make your own pizza and garlic bread. Always built the pizza exactly as requested, with great topping options, recommend crispy onions. Great milkshakes. Not issues with delivery ever and even phoned me when there was any questions. Pizza isn't great the next day, so don't over order.

I've ordered food for fireaway multiple times in the past and last night I decided to order myself a pizza it was a bout midnight which I know is quite late but they are open till 1 and there was nothing on the website to say they didn't deliver after midnight so I ordered my pizza side and drink I waited and waited until 1:45am and still nothing I called up the restaurant today to see if it was possible to get my food delivered today and they told me that they had cancelled my order because and I quote "they didn't have enough drivers" now I have to wait 2-3 days for the money to come back I to my account and I've effectively payed them £20 for not having the correct amount of staff honest 1 star is generous should be 0 as its not 5pm the next day and still no food

Not a bad pizza shop to be fair! Has decent pizza staff are decent and it's reasonably clean which is great when it comes to food.

I've used fireawy for a number of years and have enjoyed the food and service. However on this occasion my order arrived after 1 hour 20.mins COLD...... £16:95 wasted...

I moved here from London, I miss good food! This is the most overated place ever!!! The pizzas are horrible, EXTREMELY overpriced!! as for the milkshakes ??? They are nothing special at all. This place? it ain't all that!! OVERPRICED

I love having fireaway near me. They deliver so quickly and are always really nice and professional. I’ve had issues with nearly every other delivery place I’ve ordered from in bideford but fireaway always get it right!

Great pizzas! - and open late too! Favourite stop off after a night on the town.

Never again. Worst Calzone pizza ever. The wilted and dried out salad was right out of a British Rail sandwich (and would have barely filled a single desert spoon - so very generous!) What else was wrong? The pizza base was more like the pastry from a short crust Steak and Kidney pie, and there was so much partially melted cheese that it was akin to cutting through a mass of rubber rope when you tried slicing it with a knife. We then discovered that almost all of the ham and pepperoni filling was stone cold. Our order was also delayed because the staff processing it couldn't even understand our house numbered simple address, and had to ring us with a silly query about where we lived - and then could barely understand English. We will never order again, not even for all the gold in Fort Knox. Worst experience in years and years.

Honestly, I absolutely love Fireaway pizza and the guys in the Bideford store are really friendly. Burner with extra pepperoni and extra chillis, you won't regret it 👌🏻

Just found out that they charge more for each item when selecting delivery as well as charging for the delivery itself. Unfortunately I am not a fan of this. Do one or the other. Not both. Update; recently had a problem with an order. On calling them they were very polite and sorted the issue promptly and effectively. Extra star for the customer service. Original review at 4 stars: I can recommend the barbecue boss, crispy wings barbecue crunch, and Nutella milkshake. Really nice takeaway.

Awful customer service from Ash, tried to order over the phone at 11:25pm and they lady said it would be better if we ordered over JustEat, tried to order and they then rejected it. Rang back at 11:32pm and Ash said he didn’t want an order for £70? Considering the pandemic it’s such a shame to see member of staff (Ash) not interested in wanting to make money for the business.

Amazing place would recon mend to people on the go so quick or if u just wanna sit in have a pizza or at home whatching a movie or a party so brillent

It was expensive but I loved the garlic oil base pizzas and had many gluten free options.

Not great pizza. Base is very unappetising. Much better options locally such as pig and olive.

Ordered a pizza for 7.10pm.. all good . Email sent at 6.53pmsaying its READY for collection.. went to collect it at 7.05 they say it will be 3 mins .. its 10 more minutes and still not ready.. totally wasting peoples time

Was expecting something better, not a bad pizza but have had better from local non chain outlets. Arrived bang on time, still hot, but because of the packaging (I guess) everything was soggy. Not sure how the Potatoe wedges are cooked, but some where still hard, and again had steamed in the packaging so they were soggy. On the plus side... Real fresh chilli's on the pizza and not those nasty sliced in brine ones.

Food arrived an hour late, i ordered two chocolate pizzas with strawberry's and marshmallow's and all i could taste was garlic and onion.(Thank god i don't have any allergies)So disappointment, base was chewy and customer services was awful. Will not be ordering again!

Haven't had a pizza in 9 months, because Domino's stopped doing gluten free pizzas since lockdown started. Chuffed to find a really good pizza place locally that can cater for my faulty gut! And my son says the canoli tastes fantastic. Looking forward to having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We had eagerly anticipated the opening of this new pizza shop since we saw it being fitted out. When found out the news it was open we drove 20 minutes into Bideford and ordered a 12" Napoli and a 12" Meathead and a Oreo Milkshake. Received our Pizza Boxes and the Oreo Milkshake after 10 minutes of waiting outside and then we made the 20 minute drive home, opened the boxes and was extremely disappointed to see one cold garlic bread and a cold margarita pizza. Really couldn't be bothered to make another hour round trip to correct the problem at 7pm amongst the pitch black sky. We tried the garlic bread and the margarita pizza and we were very unimpressed and we wished we went to dominoes. The milkshake was shockingly expensive but did taste nice. These guys really need to get a system in place to ensure that customers receive the correct pizza we were neither asked our name, or given an order number and seem to be purely relying on recognising people. Very disappointed they need to do way better as a new business in Bideford, or they will lose loads of potential customers. :(

We ordered a takeaway from here last night (Friday the 27th of November 2020) They sent a text at 19:30 to inform us that our food was out for delivery - 40 minutes later we were still waiting! We had to call twice before they cooked us a fresh order and delivered it! To compensate for this they gave us a free portion of Cannoli which tasted GROSS! The cheese on the pizza was CHEAP and NASTY! We had five slices of pepperoni on one whole pizza! We threw every single thing bar a slice of pizza each (that we had to force down) we ordered in the bin as it was absolutely VILE! If you want an overpriced pizza - Crack on! Honestly If I could give them no stars I would! Don’t waste your money!
