Danny's Pizza kebab house in Torridge

disappointed as ordered flaming hot and a florida but both tasted like a florid 😞

Food was cold, the pitta was stale as, meat was good though

Food arrived very late and was freezing cold

I ordered 2 kebabs, 1 with bbq, 1 without sauce. I know from previous orders that when you order anything with sauce it comes caked in it. Needless to say both turned up with not only BBQ sauce but both absolutely caked. I couldn’t eat mine as I couldn’t even scrape it off. I’m sure if you like BBQ sauce it would be fine, but when you hate BBQ sauce and have paid £9 for a chicken kebab that is caked in it and therefore can’t eat it is not on.

Driver said he couldn't find us, was rude, blaming us for wasting his petrol.

Asked for double mint sauce but hardly any on the kebab

Food was here early which was amazing because we were starving !! We go the value box and the chicken in it was beautiful it was massive and filled to the brim, the pizza was beautiful and gooey and the dough was cooked through

Such a shame. Used to be my favourite takeaway, but now the food arrived cold and the pizza looked like it had been thrown about, and stored upside down on the way to me.

Amazing Mixed Kebab. Absolutely delicious, nice meat and came super hot. Took note of the kitchen notes too. Much appreciated and will be ordering again when in the area. Delivery girl polite and lovely too. 5*

Class experience all round lovely group of people quality food

Lovely food when it’s delivered promptly, but when waiting longer food gets cold and looses its quality. Sometimes the food is great and other times not so much.

The food was absolutely delicious but unfortunately the timing of delivery was rather late the app said the food had already been delivered which also made us quite nervous but thankfully they gave updates on the time after about 20 minutes of waiting, in total the wait time was around an hour and a half we ordered two pizzas a value box and pitta box which is quite a long time to wait since we live about a 10 minute drive away, but overall very greatful the food arrived and was still hot!!

food ordered at 18.45, estimated time 19.20-19.50. food didn't turn up, messages just eat and told it would arrive at 8. nothing happened. called the establishment and told it was finally on its way. arrived at 20.10 for a simple donner kebab and chips.

Originally delivery time stated one hour which then changed to 1.5 hours and it was finally delivered at 2hours after ordering. Food was cold/non edible with bits of order missing. Really poor service/food tonight from Danny’s which is a shame as we normally like the food. This experience would put me off ordering again

The food arrived early, which was fine as we were hungry, and we have ordered from here plenty of times before and it’s always been fine, however, when we opened the doner meat and chips, there was no mint sauce, which was ordered. Both meals were almost cold and the chips were awful, hard, lukewarm and chewy. Very disappointed, I will not be ordering from this kebab shop again!

Such a shame on the poor service as the food was pretty good. 2 hours to get to us and really poor communication. Rang twice to chase. Did offer some money back. Would have been nice to be communicated to though.

Really disappointed, for the price you are charging for cheesy chips £5 for small and then also a few quid more for a tiny curry sauce- definitely not worth it at all. It wasn't very nice and hardly any cheese or chips at all- thankfully the pizzas were good. Unfortunately for my daughters who had a small cheesy chips and curry sauce each it was very disappointing

When customers ask for garlic and chilli sauce on your kebabs you don’t have to smother it in so much sauce with so much chilly you can’t eat it

unfortunately the chips were over cooked but everything else was spot on as usual.

Used to be really good, but has really gone down hill. Always late, arrived 2 hours after ordering. £5 for soggy, uncooked, hard cheesy chips - pizza and wrap ok, but overpriced.

Used to be amazing. Ended up with a sloppy put together burger and soggy tasteless chips. Waited ages for delivery. Not worth the money now at all.

The best place to get a chicken wrap! Our food is always hot and well cooked. The guys are friendly every time we go and collect our food. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

The chips were over cooked and the meat was as greasy as anything, no taste to it or nothing. Not what you want when you eat just finished work after being on call.

I wouldn’t recommend, doner meat was rough, no taste, bad quality gristley. Not for human consumption. The chicken was fine, I did order a small but 4 pieces of cubed chicken wasnt even a childs portion. I dont like to leave reviews like this but when its nearly £40 to feed a family of 3, it should be better. Do better and keep customers happy and they most certainly will return.

Maybe 5 minutes late, but that’s not a worry in life. Food was hot, very tasty delivered with by a happy person. They said sorry it was a little late, which was lovely of him to say, no need though as that’s life. Thank you

My order never came at all. I was waiting for a very long time. My children needed food we have been travelling all day due too bad family news. This is outrageous.

Kebab meat was hard, the chips were so soaked in oil, they were floating. My daughters burger was Ok but for £19 plus delivery charge....shocking. Never again!

Normally very good but not so much this time. Delivery arrived 10 mins after delivery time. I’m guessing the driver had to make multiple deliveries at once as by the time ours arrived the pizza was lukewarm. The app also said it was out for delivery for over 20 minutes.

I know it's Saturday night and a little heads up for it being later delivery time.

seemed like the driver had forgotten my order. Not particularly hot either. Not one of the best we have had.

I was a long time customer of Danny's, however recently the cost of the food has gone up a lot and the quality has gone down. Usually a bad takeout is rare but now I've had 3 in a row. Tonight chips are full of fat and overcooked, burger bun is burnt black, half my chips have skin on and half dont, I can't stand skin on chips! If I wanted healthy I wouldnt be ordering takeaway. I used to be a loyal customer but after 3 recent meals I won't be coming back.

It was nice and warm the food but tbh we were shocked by the small potion we ordered a value box like we normally do but there was not much meat as normal but oh well !!

Absolutely shocking service ordered a hour and a half ago to call up and be told it’s on way to which we waited another 20 minutes to be told it went to the other side of town and they will deliver the food now which I cancelled as it would of been cold by the time it got here with all the messing about no offer of a fresh hot order even tho it was there mistake will not be ordering from here again

Dreadful-food hasn’t arrived after 2 hours!

Delivery estimate said 35mins before ordering. Ordered at 7.15pm, turned up at 8.50pm.

Good quality food although I’m dissapointed in the amount of popcorn chicken for the price. Thought it would be a one off although this is the 3rd or 4th time now 😞

We always order from Danny’s, we think it’s the best kebab in the UK (never had a bad meal) but our order today was poor. Very salty meat and the salad wasn’t to the normal portion size. Very disappointing - hoping our favourite kebab takeaway returns back to normal for our next order🤞🤞🤞🤞

Absolutely lovely, and thankyou for reading my notes asking for a lot of pineapple, that is the second time it's been delivered absolutely spot on (with the extra pineapple)these pizzas are always way tastier than the BIG chains x

Poor food, chips were greasy and you could squeeze the oil out of them, they must have been re fry multiple times! Burger was poor quality and full of gristle white lumps as you bit into. Just eat said no partial refund could be offered because cooking styles were individual to each restaurant! Avoid at all costs if you want a good quality take away. Very Poor.
