Pannier Galley Cafe in Torridge

Was in Bideford and going to have fish and chips however went into chip shop on quay (Mr.C) everyone in restaurant was eating sausages and chips which so anemic we left. FOUND the Pannier galley Cafe and the best we did, had burgers with Parkham Cheese absolutely fabulous and very tasty and as for the price 2 burgers were less than 1 fish and chips, this cafe needs to used by everyone the lady serving was chatty smiley and very friendly TRY this place you will be amased

Excellent English breakfast and very friendly service. Great variety of cakes, sandwiches and salads. Dogs are welcome.

Situated next to butchers row you’d be mistaken for thinking they’d take advantage of the local produce. Spicy bean burgers were fresh from ASDA, quarter pounders were overly processed. Every part of the burger, bap and onions were burnt

It was lovely to find out the cafe was dog friendly. I ordered a toasted teacake and a coffee, as well as 2 bacon rolls to go. The whole time I was there, they didn't stop. I enjoyed my teacake and rolls

Wanted a quick lunch and though we were told the wait would be 20 minutes it wasn't. It was a busy day so stock was a bit depleted but I enjoyed my pastie. People were tucking in to cream teas which seem very good value. There's seating upstairs and down & outside too. The loo is cute! Plenty of jams, pickles available to buy .

Have had fabulous service every time. Flexible with choice and very reasonably priced. Nice to know there is somewhere decent to have a bite to eat - be it breakfast or lunch whilst browsing the crafts...

Nice and clean providing the visitors with good choice of real tea and meals prepared to order. Breakfast appears to be a favourite.

Good basic cafe set in an old fashioned market. Staff willing to please and you can be sure of a decent cup of tea and home-cooked simple food

The food is simple (breakfasts, sandwiches, cakes, etc), but it hits the spot. Good value and in an interesting place.

A warm invite awaits you here, and then a wide choice of all day breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. Very tasty.

The menu had plenty to choose from and there was something on offer for all tastebuds. The servers were lovely and the food was far better than average café standard. Very glad we stopped in

Saturday morning and the market is on so a quick stroll around and then a coffee and bun this place is very friendly you get the feelng you are part of a community

great food ............................ tea cake came with lot of butter. tea pot great size and great. Lovely atmosphere. My husband had breakfast fantastic. Keep it up. the service with a smile.
