Wonderful little cafe . Wanting to grab some coffee and cake to go , decided to try somewhere different from the other cafe on that street . Staff v friendly and helpful , coffee was great , cakes delicious and dog friendly . Would definitely recommend and will be back . Highly recommend

Really amazing food, waitress was lovely and super helpful when we were really quite picky due to allergies and preferences so thank you so much! A little expensive for the portion sizes but really tasty and beautifully presented! 🖤

Best pub in Appledore. Nice selection of drinks, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

The pub has got a great location right on the waters edge, we have a lovely table seat upstairs which had great views over the estuary. The food was well presented and was superb, I highly recommend a visit.

Had breakfast here 2 mornings with 2 different sets of staff who were all friendly. Really enjoyed it. A good size portion, not massive but enough. Homemade cakes are lush too. Will definitely go back if we're in the area

Although the fish was cooked well, the portion of cod I received was the smallest I’ve ever seen at a fish and chip shop. For the price, it was incredibly disappointing to be served such a small piece. When I mentioned this, I was told it was bigger than it looked and that it was the standard portion size. To be clear, it wasn’t, and if it truly is the standard size, then it seems there’s been a change in portion policy since the new ownership took over.

There’s no better chippy locally, Claude is a gem always happy and smiling. Highly recommended.

Can only give it one star as zero isn't an option. Battered sausages overcooked and tasteless, chips overcooked and solid. Ruddy awful 1

The best Sunday roast we've ever had and we've been out for lots. This is the second time we've visited and the atmosphere is so nice too. The waitress was so attentive. No negatives all all. Just superb. Thank you.

Great food and service lovley location

Picked up some delicious sweet treats and beverages, some could find this expensive but given the location, the amazing food I would say it’s still very good value for money. Can’t wait to visit again soon!
