The best restaurants in Torbay South West

What a let down so slow service got our order wrong 3 times.Told it was worth waiting for the best cream tea in Torquay!!!!! ,no way just bog standard tasteless scones.We didn’t return

100% reccomend this place. The owner is staff are lovely and very welcoming. The food is brilliant. My husband had a burger and I had lamb koftas all food was cooked fresh.

Good food too many chips for medium size.

Amazing Little Find! We saw the special on the board for Sicilian Squid Stew and decided to give it a try. It didn’t disappoint and was absolutely delicious and full of flavour and loads of squid. We paired it with a sharing portion of their loaded fries and a glass of wine - fantastic! Pity it’s our last day here. 👌

Ghurka’s Inn is a triumph. From the outside it looks understated, but once inside the aromas draw you in to experience fantastic Nepalese cuisine. Look beyond the standard curry house staples, find the Nepalese gems. You won’t be disappointed. I had the Khasi Aloo - goat and potatoes, the sauce was generous, fragrant and incredibly tasty. The goat, tender and melt in the mouth.

Lovely relaxed restaurant with friendly attentive staff, who were quick to serve us drinks even though it was almost full. I've not had scallops in ages and was glad to order them for my main - yum! Lovely local white wine too - I recommend you try.

Wonderful coffee and a very tasty panini. The cafe is well set out and the staff are efficient and friendly. Lots of lovely cakes, too!

We had a few lovely 😍 coffees ☕️ and lite lunch 😋 here. Over the 10 days, we were in Brixham. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Food is 100 % love the sitting outside on the harbour.

Amazing high tea, we all enjoyed Brie and Cranberry sandwiches with ours with the added option of having them toasted, a nice touch. Staff were friendly and accommodating, would 100% come back. Thank you Cupcake Cafe!

We chose cupcake cafe as they do the best selection of cream teas not just jam like most places! We had the sunshine cream tea served with lemon curd&clotted cream ,scones a good size fresh fluffy and a nice homemade taste! They also do savory ,chocolate spread ,syrup & ginger preserve! 2 for £12

Beautiful food - very fresh and good choice on the specials menu. The atmosphere was nice and I liked the seating area outside with the pretty flowers. The staff are very friendly and would recommend :)

Great Pasties. Wide choice including veggie. The hot pork pie was amazing. Pastry is really good . Been going in for 4 years consistently good.

Lovely food tonight, all freshly cooked and roasting hot, fabulous quick service. Great sized portion! Can not fault it!!

This restaurant was close to where we were staying, so chose this after walking our dogs and it was an inspired choice. The food was excellent. Service a little slow due to the volume of on line orders being collected, but the food was piping hot and worth the wait

We come to the Brixham every year, we stumbled across here on a walk last week and decided to pop in. So glad we did. We were given the warmest welcome possible, excellent choice of beers, the regulars in there were extremely friendly and just a general really nice and cosy atmosphere in there. We ended up visiting another twice whilst on holiday and reccomended it to friends for when they visit as well. Cannot wait to go back in the winter!
