Beautiful food - very fresh and good choice on the specials menu. The atmosphere was nice and I liked the seating area outside with the pretty flowers. The staff are very friendly and would recommend :)

First visit, definitely won’t be back! Stood at the counter and waited for ages, finally asked, can I help you? No greeting or smile. We ordered some lunch but we were then told we could not sit at the table we had chosen as we were only two and it was a table for four.

Best breakfast ever, had kippers and was so worth the money! 100% recommend! Went as a family and the staff are so accommodating and went above and beyond!

Lovely deli with eat in cafe area where all the family enjoyed their food - from a vegan breakfast to sweet waffles, we were all catered for. We visited three times whilst on holiday.

This cafe..restaurant is amazing. The ambience is very Ivy meets bohemian. The food is homemade and tatses out of this world.the pizzas are laiden with cheese. The cakes taste so lovely. The ladies who run it are friendly and the young lady who clears the tables is very polite. We are local and we will be back.

This deli-cafe just smashes it out of the park. Best coffee in Torbay plus the most wonderful selection of hot and cold deli food and pastries to eat in or takeaway. Me & Mrs Jones thoroughly deserves its Taste of SW Gold award. The service can get rather slow at peak times, however. Please don't go, or we'll never get a table!!

Absolutely amazing food and service only complaint £9.25 for a glass of wine when it stated £7.80 on menu didn’t complain as only noticed menu when we was leaving. We will definitely return but won’t be having any wine

This is the most wonderful, friendly, inviting, delightful, delicious and inviting deli. For breakfast, lunch or takeaways their selection of cold cuts, quiches, pasties, bakes, salads and sandwiches is a real treat. They do a wonderful full English breakfast with great coffee and the staff are all super-helpful and friendly. What more can I say? We love this place.

Visiting our daughter down here in Wellswood for the weekend. She booked a table for 4 at this lovely Deli that was advertising a pizza evening/night. I must say that both the service and food were excellent. It’s not our first time to Me & Mrs Jones and it definitely won’t be our last.

We eat here as a group from TIS on a weekly basis. The food us always excellent, as is the prompt service. It remains one of our students' favourite places from their feedback. They love to buy cakes and cheese to take away too! Such a great selection of high - quality products.

We visited recently for lunch and they were admittedly quite busy. It became apparent almost immediately that the front of house staff begrudged having so much to do and that tempers were fraying behind the counter. There were some quite public disagreements between the staff that were overheard by more patrons than just ourselves, and this created a truly uncomfortable atmosphere. I’m contrast, the food was lovely. Quiches and salads aplenty, which were all fresh and very tasty. However, we did note the subtle lack of hygiene. More than a few of the staff were handling the food with their bare hands then going on to do other tasks such as using the till or clearing tables. Nobody was wearing gloves or hairnets, and nobody was using utensils to plate the food. We even watched one girl pick up salad that had fallen from one plate and flick it back into the serving bowl. We watched another lady rearrange the counter displays with her bare hands when the rush died down, blatantly picking up various items with her fingers and moving food from one tray to another. This, for us, completely put us off. It’s such a shame that an interesting venture such as this is being let down by the front of house staff. I doubt we’ll be returning.

My wife and I go about once a month when we have finished shopping in Torquay. Always a pleasure to visit. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and attentive and always a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Only just having moved into the area we are so happy to have you round the corner albeit you will do nothing for our waist lines! Walk in to Me & Mrs Jones and just wrap yourself up in the colours, fragrances atmosphere and warmth of welcome at the lovely venue for your social occasion . Ours was a late breakfast, superb coffee and a great range of breakfasts which everyone loved . The deli looked impossible to not take something home and Canolis shouldn’t look that good. Tastefully designed rooms, lots of places to sit and relax and so much to see. Good star from this group of happy diners⭐️

Great selection of farm shop goods, inventive food options, and a beautiful shop layout. A cool local business to have. I returned multiple times for the food, but customer service is below average. I kept giving the benefit of the doubt to the servers, because I’ve been a service trainer myself, and I know that everyone has long days. But I’d be disappointed if my trainees consistently gave the same low standard of service. I’ve visited around a dozen times now, and every time has been the same. You pay extra to sit in, and the charge presumably covers the service. For this reason, I would recommend for solo takeaway lunches, I would not recommend stay-in service.

Popped in for lunch today as we live around the corner. Not at all the place we remember. My husband ordered a steak pasty with a coffee. I had the aubergine parmigiana and a cold drink. When ordering, my husband was asked if he'd like anything with the pasty, and said no, thank you. It turns out the salad they served with it came covered in a very garlicky dressing, and the first mouthful almost made him sick. When we asked for it to be removed as my husband can't eat garlic, the server huffed and said "Really?!" The food was practically thrown back at us, we ate quickly, and left. Attitude = Zero. Customer service = Zero. Amount of steak in pasty = Just above zero!

Cozy café, went in the afternoon and had a nice “dirty” chai latte (a chai latte with espresso) and my husband, who never gains weight, indulged in a lovely fruit cake, and a nice latte to top it off! The menu is extensive, so we’ll have to be back!

Went to this wonderful deli for pizza night with friends. One of the most delicious and unusual pizza’s I have had, washed down with a top quality rosé wine. If you’re looking for a really unique cafe/deli serving delicious, mouthwatering food I would highly recommend!!

On passing Mrs. Jones delicatessan the other day, we decided to buy a couple of scotch eggs for our supper. Two scotch eggs cost £7.00!! One tasted it had sage and onion stuffing around the egg, which was stale and the other had some sort of sausage meat, again stale and horrid. My first and last time, very disappointing!!

With the current panic buying situation, I heard Me And Mrs Jones had lots of flour in stock. Yes they do - at £3.00 for a 1kg bag (compared to Asda 49p for 1.5kg). We love going into this cafe for coffee, cakes and lunches and it’s so lively and friendly.We were very concerned this morning to find that many of their pies and pastries and fresh loaves of bread were not covered and open to the public breathing, sneezing and coughing on them. We did have a word with the one of the staff and she said that they didn’t handle them. That is not the point . Corona virus is AIRBORNE and open to infection. This is very serious and we think that the owners must address this as most other food outlets have done. Things have changed regarding this very serious out break.

Another visit to Torquay and came for breakfast two days running. We stay in Torquay fairly regularly and haven’t found anywhere better for breakfast !

Great breakfast as always. A Mr Jones was enormous, my wife had a Mrs Jones which was delicious. Place was packed, luckily found a space, a number of tables had been reserved. Later as it thinned out lunchtime diners arrived for the splendid deli food.

The cafe/ delicatessen has plenty of choice for a light or more substantial lunch. My husband had quiche with salad. I usually choose this but as it was a cold day I had the vegetable soup. It was substantial and tasty. We were glad to have booked ahead as even at 13.30 the cafe was full.

This seems to be a very popular venue. It was full each time we passed but we did get a table for a late lunch, which was very enjoyable with a good selection of food.

Tried to get into this shop twice now and each time it's been shut. Nothing on the door to say when they were going to re-open. As strangers to this area it's not the easiest place to find so to say we're p*used off is an understatement.

We've been to Me & Mrs Jones four times, but only found a table twice.That's not to say they were full, but it appears that people can book tables in advance, so you go in thinking there's plenty of room – only to find that most of the decent tables have been booked – although there's nobody sitting at them. On average, the booked times were half an hour ahead of the time we arrived, but who wants to have a relaxing coffee and cake only to find you are shuffled out promptly because the people who reserved the table have arrived? So again we left and went somewhere else, which is fine – why should Me & Mrs Jones care – except they have the bizarre appearance of a restaurant/coffee shop which has plenty of space but is effectively full!

Maybe my son and I are not the ideal clients, one a celiac the other dairy-free! Very well catered for both of us, excellent food and quality plus nicely finished off with service with a smile! It made me do a TripAdvisor review!

This little deli is delicious. It’s super cool, feels a bit like you’re in the middle of Kensington. Everything on the menu looks delicious, it’s hard to make a choice. The counter is full of gorgeous looking food to eat in or takeaway. There are good options for everyone, we were a family with a youngster, a fussy boyfriend, grandma and a vegan and we all loved it. We’ll definitely be back.
