Wonderful coffee and a very tasty panini. The cafe is well set out and the staff are efficient and friendly. Lots of lovely cakes, too!

Went into the Bay Coffee Company looking for tea and cake having walked back from Berry Head one afternoon whilst on holiday. There was a good selection of Gluten free cakes and I had the peanut butter Brownie which was Gluten free and vegan (I am also dairy intolerant). It was lush! My husband had a piece of Rocky Road which was also good. Would definitely return next time we are on holiday-the peanut butter brownie is one of my lasting memories!

Poor coffee most likely due to poor quality beans being used. We tried this cafe several times and coffee was consistently bad..

Great vibe! Great coffee! What more would you want? A ketchup sachet that opens more easily - maybe - but I jest! A super place to enjoy a coffee and brunch, where John and his staff always make you extremely welcome. Brixham’s finest!

Me & my husband visit this coffee shop when we stay in Brixham. It's really nice with a good selection of food & beverages, reasonably priced. There are tables outside sited across the road from the coffee shop well worth a visit.

I ordered tea and bottled water along with a cream scone, my partner chose a chocolate biscuit bar thingy,all of which were wthin a display cabinet. Dissappointment started as soon as it arrived on our table,i expected the usual"clotted" cream within the scone, not some sort of sqirty cream. The scone was dry and crumbly,i had one bite and left the rest....my partner could not cut her choccy bar even with a knife, i had to push really hard to cut through it,she also decided to leave it...waste of almost £10

Not sure why our visit yesterday was the 1st for us but glad we made it. Visited late afternoon but still lots of sweet choices to choose from, the custard tart was lovely and have never seen one that size, delicious. All other cakes were enjoyed by others in our group. Coffee was good too, mild how I like it but hubby said he'd probably have an extra shot next time. They operate a loyalty card, a good incentive for going back, 9 drinks with the 10th free. Plenty of seating in the area across from the shop too. Didn't catch the name of the young girl who served us but very friendly. Will definitely be back.

This used to be one of our favourite places for coffee. However, the coffee isn’t as good as it used to be. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned and this was early on a Sunday morning. The service was fine and it’s still a very popular place. I just feel it’s become average.

Worst customer service ever! Went in to order a hot chocolate latte and cakes. The women serving did not listen and was not paying attention, none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. Got the hot chocolate, all spilling over r the sides and not offered a lid or napkin. Latte took another 5 minutes to come, then asked if I had been given a cake which I had not, got one cake but initially ordered two which the women serving did not listen to and then proceeded to say I was in the wrong and did not order the other cake rather then just accepting she was in the wrong and apologising. Everyone seemed very unorganised and it wasn’t a busy day. Will not be going back due to attitude of the staff.

THE BEST COFFEE in the bay - and try is with the nutty flapjack which is to die for! Been a few times and had latte, cappuccino, iced coffee - all very good. Range of milks is good and gluten free brownies are yum. And the owner is very lovely and friendly.

A nice enough coffee shop. The tea and coffee was good and they have a wide range of tasty cakes and pasties. There's also a nice terrace right on the harbour side.

Firstly, I walked in, wanting to sit in with a coffee and panini. I hung around for a couple of minutes, no one else waiting, as one member of staff was on her phone, and the others just talking among themselves. When I finally spoke to someone, I located a seat, and took my bag there to save it. When I came back, one person was ahead of me, being served. I waited. Someone else joined the queue after me, and was then served before me. I kept my patience, I was in no rush, so I didn’t say anything. I made my order, and took my seat. The cappuccino-which was very nice-arrived fairly quickly. Fifteen minutes later, I still haven’t got my panini. When I brought it the attention of one of the staff, it was clear they had forgotten about it. A mumbled ‘sorry’ was only given as an afterthought by the staff member I spoke to. The panini came, having been blitzed in a microwave, and was very disappointing. The array of cakes on display are amazing, so, I’d definitely advise a take out on those, or, just sitting in for a coffee.

I live nearby and dropped in for a bite to eat whilst out for a walk on my day off. Bacon Panini sounds nice I thought. I asked for extra bacon which I was happy to pay extra for but I was told that wasn't an option as the Panini's were already made up. When it was brought out to the table and I opened the box it came in I discovered the thinnest Panini I've ever seen in my life which contained two translucent rashers of fatty streaky bacon. Oh well, at least the view was good. No, I won't be returning, I appreciate good food.

Arrived early morning in Brixham on Thursday 22nd September and popped in to the Bay Coffee Company. Had 2 cups of coffee which were of good quality and lot cheaper than a few coffee shops in the town. The gentleman was very polite and his service was outstanding. The coffee shop has free wifi and toilets for customers only. The place is very clean and tidy

We always have to go to the Bay Coffee Company to have our fix of Latte Coffee. Now even better being seated under the old fish market. Great Idea

We were in Brixham for 12 days and apart from xmas day when it was closed had coffee here at least once every day. The yoghurt covered flapjacks were truly delicious too. Definitely recommend this for coffee.
