The best restaurants in Teignbridge South West

Our order was freshly cooked, and it remained piping hot in transit. This was just what we needed after a long and delayed trip . The meals were plentiful and tasted lovely. The Deep fried squid with chilli and garlic was excellent and cooked to perfection. The deep fried shredded beef was well cooked and there was plenty of sauce. The curries were hot but not mind blowing. We will certainly use them again next time we visit the area The only downfall is they do not deliver

Well, what can I say... cuppa tea for 2, £4 quid. That's good. Decided to have a piece of bakewell slice each, the smallest piece we've ever seen, left on the counter, with people hovering over it, £2.50 EACH! Too say I'm shocked is an understatement! Should of gone next door to the bay tree! Visit at your peril!

Went here with my wife for something to eat the other day. There is parking on site, as the venue is situated next to the main road. However, space are limited and vehicles may end up blocking in others. We sat outside and had toasted sandwiches. My wife had a glass of milk and I had a pot of tea. Service is fine and staff care for their customers because we had to wait for our stuff as staff were cleaning equipment after catering for the needs of someone else with Celiac issues. We were ok with this. Definitely a place to visit again and the venue is quiet and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Visited yesterday and ordered 4 drinks/cakes. The coffees were perfect and not too strong. Again, the cake was amazing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

During a long road trip we decided to pull in to the services for a break. We decided to get some food - a bacon roll and lovely cinnamon latte. Very good 👍🏻

Great little pub. Traditional pub games and a new jukebox. Clean and tidy and good selection of ales. Owners are from Torbay so good to see a more diverse community. Hopefully will get busier now there is a new development down the road. Free parking opposite with limited spaces. Even has a church on the other side of the road.

Edited to minus one star as the prices have taken an extreme hike. Ordered for delivery and it turned up early, happy days! The food was fantastic, and the crispy beef was consistently crispy with no soggy bits. The best Chinese I've had in a while. Would highly recommend

Overcharged us for the food and when we called to discussed this they dismissed us. Would not advise going to this take away

Visited today 28/4/25..absolutely fantastic food and service has improved so much . I love the pandon peppers and the duck pineapple salad my friends dirty burger looked very yummy

Rude staff, good pub Very bossy no manners Don't care about your custom, just bark orders at you behind the bar Would come back but be nicer

We popped in on Tuesday we were lucky that they could find a table for us, there was a little drama with some other customers but the management dealt with the situation incredibly well.
