Well, what can I say... cuppa tea for 2, £4 quid. That's good. Decided to have a piece of bakewell slice each, the smallest piece we've ever seen, left on the counter, with people hovering over it, £2.50 EACH! Too say I'm shocked is an understatement! Should of gone next door to the bay tree! Visit at your peril!

The place wasn’t as clean as one would hope to find it, and the food on both visits was utterly awful: tasteless, overpriced, very clearly microwaved, haphazard, thoughtless etc etc. A bacon bap or sausage roll from Spar is significantly more tasty, filling and worthwhile.

Highly recommend. Top notch Christmas lunch for our large group. Good room, Christmas decorations, seating. Extremely pleasant helpful and, most importantly, competent staff. Well cooked, well presented food served together with no waiting. I enjoyed a great prawn starter, my steak done exactly right, and delicious Christmas pudding.

We were staying at Buckfast Abbey and as they weren't serving dinner we went for a takeaway. We ordered deep fried squid, special chow mein and satay king prawns. We asked for no MSG and the chef pointed out that the BBQ sauce in the Chow Mein had a little, which we were happy with. All the dishes were piping hot and really tasty with loads of meat and veg. A superb Chinese takeway in a place you wouldn't naturally expect one to be. Minus one star for only taking cash, no excuse not to take cards.
