Wow, we visited the Skewer House on Wednesday 22nd Jan with very elderly parents. The staff were absolutely first class. The food and service was also first class. They were very busy but still found time to help us in and out of the restaurant. You must visit ASAP, we will be back. Thank you.

Amazing food, so tasty, with depth of flavour and a kick to leave your tongue tingly, depending on what you order. Definitely the best in town. Deliveries are in good time with friendly, professional drivers. Very highly recommended. Can’t rate it highly enough.

Once again, a brilliant performance from The team at Gurka (Taunton). Starters were good, mains were fantastic; absolutely filled with flavour, drinks and service were spot on too. This has been my go to Indian in Taunton for 18 months now.

Best garlic bread I have tasted. Following pasta main course high quality. Add great ambience and you have the perfect lunch. Seek this place out. You will not be disappointed.

You can’t swap ingredients and not tell the customer before you do this. Someone could have a food allergy. You then don’t just take off the tomatoes and leave ruminants of them in the sandwich and stuck let to the bottom. If you advertise something and you don’t have it, that is absolutely fine, you only have to tell the customer and give them the choice. Don’t recycle the food to save money when they identify an issue with ingredient’s, this does not solve the issue, or possible contamination issue. No doubt you are a great little place, but food safety issues like this are not good.

Really great sandwiches made to order. Great service from a nice small team who will make a fresh sandwich while you wait. A selection of cakes and the Shrewsbury biscuits are delicious! Just the right amount of spices. I do question whether the hygiene rules are adhered-to regarding gloves and combining food preparation with payment acceptance

Burgers from the freezer. Nothing on the menu relates to a smoke house or pit grill. More like after school ‘quick tea’ from the 90’s

I just love this place. We come for dinner a couple of times a year and it's always super tasty. It's a byo wine and pitch up type of place, really chilled, delicious food and very reasonably priced. The owners are casual whilst friendly and efficient. We just finished with the Turkish coffee and baklava, a great end to the meal. I highly recommend this relaxed restaurant.
