Lovely place with vegan or vegetarian food. Lunches, soups, salads, great cakes. Light welcoming spsce and gorgeous garden. A selection of teas and coffees various milks and organic wines and beers. Very well worth a visir and if you are staying longer there are lovely letting rooms. The Seed shop next door is a great emporium full of clothes, jewellery, books and all manner of lovely things to tempt you.

This was a great little stop off on the way to the coast for us. The cafe does delicious food and drinks; family friendly and doggy snacks too. A nearby park for a walk and swings and slides too.

Looked delicious. Ordered two pre-made sandwiches and coffee and paid. Although there were only two people seated at a table, all the tables were dirty. We picked up the sheepskins off the floor and sat at the table nearest the counter. We waited, several other people came in and were served. After 15 mins and several passes the waitress said ‘Oh, I’ll clear this up in a minute’ after another 5 minutes we went to the counter and asked for a refund. The waitress said, oh, the order didn’t come through, this has happened before! They were too busy chatting to notice.

A quarter pound flattened piece of meat typically a beef mixture that has been shaped in circle and Assuming it's a really good burger, it's juicy, meaty, greasily satisfying. The bun should be slightly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The cheese should be happily melting over the meat. And specially ❤️❤️❤️❤️They are often cheery and smiley.

We stopped off in Wincanten for breakfast on the drive down to Cornwall. This cafe was recommended by someone in the adjacent supermarket. "The best fry-up in town". The place was very basic, but with a promise of a hearty full English, that didn't matter. I think the pricing was shown as 1,25 GBP per item. A bit pricey, but we ordered anyway. What we got on our plate was a joke. A fried egg is a fried egg, so no complaints. The sausage was the size of a chipalata and very chewy. A tablespoon full of mushrooms, which were obviously from a tin. Half a tomato and a tablespoon's worth of baked beans (I could count them). Honestly, we really felt ripped off. We ate it anyway, dutifully paid and left without saying a word. Typical us. The staff were very friendly though. Anyway, I thought you'd better know about this place. You've been warned. For the owners...come on. 1.25 pound an item is very expensive, let us feel we are getting our monies worth with the portions. Pity I didn't take a photo, I notice there are no photos of breakfast on this site.

Enjoyed a great dinner at Nog Inn Thursday evening. Thursday was 'fish night's so we opted for the set fish and chip supper for two. Price was reasonable and importantly food was very tasty and a generous portion. Desserts ( apple and berry crumble and ice cream respectively) were also tasty, well presented and wholesome. Place was busy which was good to see and together with lovely friendly staff, welcoming bar and good drinks menu this pub succeeds in offering a very warm, cosy atmosphere. Great to find a place like this which offers good value, quality and welcoming atmosphere. Keep it up!
