We stopped off in Wincanten for breakfast on the drive down to Cornwall. This cafe was recommended by someone in the adjacent supermarket. "The best fry-up in town". The place was very basic, but with a promise of a hearty full English, that didn't matter. I think the pricing was shown as 1,25 GBP per item. A bit pricey, but we ordered anyway. What we got on our plate was a joke. A fried egg is a fried egg, so no complaints. The sausage was the size of a chipalata and very chewy. A tablespoon full of mushrooms, which were obviously from a tin. Half a tomato and a tablespoon's worth of baked beans (I could count them). Honestly, we really felt ripped off. We ate it anyway, dutifully paid and left without saying a word. Typical us. The staff were very friendly though. Anyway, I thought you'd better know about this place. You've been warned. For the owners...come on. 1.25 pound an item is very expensive, let us feel we are getting our monies worth with the portions. Pity I didn't take a photo, I notice there are no photos of breakfast on this site.

This little cafe was a great find. All the other cafes seemed to be closed down or stopped serving breakfast at 11.30. The all day breakfast was tasty and you could choose your own mix and match ingredients. Well cooked grub and very friendly service.

We often visit this cafe now, the owner/ staff Liz and Annie are very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes we treat ourselves to a fry up which never disappoints with a latte, There is outside seating available if preferred We consider this our local cafe now and would recommend you try it yourself if passing through

Called in for a brunch on Tuesday 30th October 2018. The cafe is tucked away in a very small modern style shopping centre dominated by hairdressing salons. You could easily miss spotting the cafe. I had a full English breakfast which was of good quality and served by friendly staff. Premises are very clean and bright.

We visited for some drinks on Wednesday 8th and were really well looked after, lovely cocktails and presented nicely. We decided to go back on the Saturday for pizza and more drinks! The pizzas were really good, nice thin base and plenty of good quality toppings. Definitely recommend :)

We popped in with friends, quite late in afternoon, at the weekend. Staff were really friendly, and went out their way to make some late food to go with our coffee. Sandwiches were excellent both in quality and quantity. Oh, also, I could not resist the CHOCOLATE Fudge cake. Not sure if I should thank you for the extra “pounds”, but I couldn’t help myself..Many Thanks

Food was good. But I felt like the staff were not really pulling their weight.
