A good local pub, shame the opening hours are not a little longer

Food is amazing, Prices are cheap and staff are lovely, Truly recommend

Have visited a handful of times and I wouod highly recommend. Birthday afternoon tea was lovely with lots of lovely things to try. Have since been a couple of times for lunch. The staff are lovely and accommodating and the food has always been great.

Habíamos reservado para un té de la tarde de Navidad y después de mantenernos esperando más de media hora para nuestra mesa, nos sentaron en una mesa sucia sin nada en absoluto. 20 minutos más tarde, finalmente nos sirvieron un té de la tarde muy mediocre, comida y servicio de muy mala calidad y muy caro para lo que obtuvimos, si no hubiéramos pagado por adelantado, no habría pagado

Had come down to see the end of the Severn river & found this place by accident. Really friendly staff & excellent food / drink. So good we came back next day for a coffee and cake, which again was spot on. All really well priced.

Proper darts/sports bar. Always a good atmosphere about the place, bar staff excellent and plenty of choices of drinks at reasonable prices. Free parking at Kings Chase Dartboards in use all day and well organised tournaments nightly and also academy sessions three days a week for youngsters. Tidy sitting booths in the bar area with screens that show live sports.

Live football being televised in a great beer garden. Staff were extremely personable, a great selection of beer and the pizza was great. Approx 15 minutes on foot to Bristol Rovers' Memorial Stadium with nearby street parking available. Would return!

Beautiful food. It was fully booked but they snuck us in and it was well worth it. Lovely staff. Lovely food. Home cooked proper grub! Everyone in Yate/Sodbury should go at some point.

All the staff were really friendly and great with our dog. They have lots of seating including outside covered. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had some friends visit and we wanted a brunch locally so decided to give this place a try as it was their opening day. There were quite a few people with the same idea so there was a bit of a buzz. This used to be our village grocers with a Butchers next door but then it became Truly Scrumptious selling home made cakes. But we always called it Betties Tea shop as it was owned by Betty. We were hoping for a Full English but on the first day this wasn't available so we settled for toasties and a huge Tuna sandwich. Tea and coffee. If I'M honest, a Toastie is a Toastie. You have to work hard to ruin it and a Tuna sandwich is fairly simple fare. So I reserve any comment on the food till they are a bit more established and we can see what their food is really like. However, they have tidied the place up a bit and it certainly looks better than it did. In winter it was always drafty and a bit cold. It also struggled with Wifi due to the thickness of the stone walls. Seating looked comfortable but there were no small tables to go with the settees so where do you put your coffee? Some furniture was recycled and impressive but will it stand up to use? Toilets will always be an issue in this building. The small back room looked a bit bare, not as welcoming as the main seating area? Staff were friendly and helpful, but they should be on the opening day. This place has changed hands several times so I wish the new owners well. Give this a go, if we all support it there is no reason it shouldn't be an asset to the community. Good luck.

We visited here with my brother-in-law and his toddler son. There were lots of toys for him to play with, and the owners were very carefully to make sure he was OK with their lovely farm dog too. They were also very helpful catering for my dietary requirements, cooking me a lovely breakfast with wonderful cherry tomatoes, still on the vine! I do think some people might feel more comfortable with a lunch menu, but others would prefer to pick from the counter. Would recommend the circular walk along the ridge after lunch, and also the pub down the road for a deserved pint, and if you are visiting in Sept/Oct, a tour of the chilli farm tour!

I have just moved to Hanham and wanted to have coffee and cake, THIS IT THE PLACE TO GO !!, the best cupcake ever, so good i went again the next day - the owner is SO friendly and as i don't know anyone in the area made me feel really at home xx

Lovely breakfast cooked by Karen & Alice..nothing too much trouble! Delicious 😋 best place to eat in Chipping sodbury/Yate ..freshly cooked ..Will definitely be back..Thank you 😃
