Never a dull visit. This place draws a very eclectic clientele. People of all ages and all backgrounds visit and all get along. The most friendly pub on the hill.

You want a traditional pub ? This place is it. Quite in the week (after work pint) Thursday until Saturday boom av it, just a mixture of live bands open decks karaoke. Game of pool on the two tables or darts again two boards. I just love it.

Excellent establishment large bar and seating atea, pool tables, darts and the management and staff are top notch!

It's okay. Like how it's a old fashioned pub. Which you find many left. Needs little doing up. Other than that I like it.

New management, really nice pub

Plenty of room so people could keep there distance. Landlady was doing a great job of making sure people were signing in and sitting down, but most importantly, keept the drinks coming with table service.

Great staff, also they have live music fridays and saturdays from 9pm.

Good karaoke Thursdays and good bands on Saturday. Staff are nice and friendly and there are 2 good pool tables.

Somewhat faded place. Nice staff and locals but really needs a once-over to tidy it up.

Went to see Captain Jak great band great night.. new landlady Jackie looked after everyone .. a good night had by all.

Not for us of a darker complexion, but funnily enough filled with the likes who spend half the day on a sunbed 🤔💯

Lovely family run pub with a karoke every Thursday night from 8 nd quite often has a karoke competition what more could u possibly want whoever wins the competition wins £50

Totally enjoyed place, plenty of space, nice staff, dog friendly, 2 pool table, back garden area, and easy parking.

Llegué con mi esposa y unos amigos a ver el fútbol, personal muy amable, bebidas razonables y la hamburguesas son increíbles!

Vino en un sábado por la noche. No sabíamos que tenían comida en el pub (acabo por un poco de música en vivo) y habíamos reservado un indio al cruzar la calle, así que pasó por una copa antes. Vimos su menú (hamburguesas, perritos calientes, etc) y decidimos cancelar nuestra reserva y pruébalo. Tan feliz que nos quedamos. Mi marido tenía 'cowboy' y 'el que tenía una normal". Eran increíbles. Mejores hamburguesas que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo!

Pub sólo comencé a hacer la comida, pero caramba, que son fantásticos. Se da por otros comentarios que he visto sobre la comida. Buena selección de cervezas y sidras, tiene cinco grandes pantallas, así puede ver el deporte desde todas partes. Wi-Fi gratuito, además de dos mesas de billar y un tablero de dardos. Buen jardín.

Pasó por probar el nuevo menú de comida (2-4-1) el martes hamburguesas tenía una hamburguesa vegetal negro bean, que era muy buena y tenía un montón de gusto (no siempre es el caso en comida vegetariana) y mi novio "El Cowboy" - con aros de cebolla, salsa barbacoa y tocino que le encantó. Tamaño de la porción era muy bueno y viene con patatas fritas. Toda la comida casera auténtica american - sin duda volveremos para probar los otros!! Nos sentamos en el jardín de la cerveza en un día precioso veranos - La gente era muy amable y el servicio del personal fue buena.

Popped in for a quick beer and stayed for food! Didn't know what to expect, but WOW was the outcome! The burgers was awesome and my wife got the Veg Burger and couldn't stop raving about it! Even had to swap ideas with the Chef! We will be back!

Visited several times while visiting relatives. Cool place with a resident Golden Retriever greeting you at the door with a sweet face and happy, wagging tail. Had a cheeseburger and chips (fries for Americans) which was excellent!

One of the best pubs in stapalhill allways go here on weekends got live music on all the time drinks are sold at good prices really recommend this pub

I've recently moved into the area and have visited The Old Mail House a few evenings since being here. Great selection of drinks, but perhaps a little on the pricey side. Still, the entertainment certainly makes it worth while. Free Wi-fi, multiple screens showing sport, pool tables, dartboard and a large beer garden makes it worth a visit. I'll be visiting on the weekends, just for the live music!
