The best restaurants in Yate Central South Gloucestershire South West

A nice friendly little cafe for the over 50s. took my mum and dad in there, we felt very welcome, good place to rest and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.or coffee and a cake.

Popped in for a card and was pleasantly surprised to find a cafe area at the back offering breakfasts, light lunches and homemade cakes. Had a lovely coffee and a slice of carrot cake - will be back.

Very nice shop with seats outside, so you can sit and watch the world go by as you enjoy your coffee and snacks nicely decorated, good service, making you feel welcome and restful.

Very surprised at the poor standard of my meal considering the number of diners here. I ordered a jacket potato with chilli and was very dissapointed with it. Firstly the plate was very cold so the bottom of the potato was cold. Whilst the potato was a very good size the amount of chilli on top was very sparse. I have to say when I said I was not happy with the amount of chilli they did give me more but it was a bit watery and not very tasty.

Been here for lunch and evening meals. Very happy, friendly staff. Food is always great. Love the bannoffe pie. Have had pizzas and pasta dishes here. Have also had takeaway pizzas.

A very helpful lady served me and gave me a great meal with two side dishes .The place was very clean and tidy.i could,nt thank her enough for her expert help with my card.

Just had a lovely lunch at Bolero lounge with friends. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. I was especially pleased with the initiative taken by Michael who, on hearing us talking about the milkshake I had ordered and that the others would be jealous about it, made some extra milkshakes for the others, even making the extra effort to make one with oat milk for one of the group who had ordered coffee with oat milk before. An excellent experience! Would definitely recommend!

Family of 4, spoken to extremely rude when asked for a alday breakfast sandwich to be toasted. We left and walked across the road to spend our money for the excat same thing but toasted. Second time I've been in here and its the second time it's unfortunately been poor service.

Very funny underwhelming food 😥 Had the Beyond Burger which was about £10 I think and it looked like a McDonald's 99p Cheeseburger

Several tables were dirty. Steak was asked for Medium but came very rare

When we visit Yate we always like to go to Boswells the food is always lovely and the staff are always helpful. They have plenty of staff and they all seem to be happy in their work. Tables are always cleaned and when observing I see that the staff are always on hand to help people that need a hand taking drinks to their tables and anything they need. The restaurant has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and I liken it to a community meeting place. Lovely tasty food well cooked with a great choice and always a welcoming smile from the staff, which makes a huge difference to feeling welcome. Thank you to all I look forward to our next visit.
